I went here about four years ago. I always wanted to write a review and I cannot forget these people. I have severe Spondylolisthesis. Here my condition was made considerably worse. How? 1) they applied electric shocks and tended to other patients rather than listening to me 2) they focused on loosening my spine further up. Twist your knees left and right etc. Back then it was not so clear to me yet what the condition entails. But it was clear to me that the exercises hurt, while doing them. They did not listen. Instead they did not take my concerns seriously. I switched luckily soon thereafter.

I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough. I went in about a sprained ankle and they explained everything so clearly and gave me a wide range of exercises to help with my recovery. They were so friendly and so knowledgeable about my injury and were so clear in helping me to understand my journey to recovery. If you are to go to any physio clinic in Leeds make this one the top of your list!

Little more to say than it took only 4 months to effectively clear me of knee pain I'd had for 6 years and had been resistent to other physiotherapy. Very highly reccomend

Being a typical climber I usually just either ignore injury (or climb through it) but visiting this physio with my tendon injury was definitely one of my better ideas :). Amazing service, professional, very informative and explained in detail my body mechanics to me and why I needed to do the exercises. I took the physio seriously and lone behold I am nearly fully recovered and able to climb again. Thanks again. Definitely one to recommend to friends.

A friend recommended Leeds sports injury & physiotherapy clinic in Headingley as they had used them in the past. Both Marie and Bernadette are lovely, honest and professional. Excellent communication and they clearly care about getting patients back to full health. I went in about sciatica caused by slipped disc. I have been benefiting from treatments and exercises they designed to manage pain, strengthen body and avoid future injuries. My condition improved greatly throughout the time I was with them. They have a wealth of experience, and it has been an incredible experience. Would happily recommend Leeds sports injury & physiotherapy clinic to anyone, and will return in future if ever needed.

Can't recommended Bernadette and Marie highly enough! I've been coming on and off since November 2020 due to a recurring back problem and they are always able to fit me in for last minute appointments and fix me up after I've been sat at a desk for 15 hours a day and caused my back to flare up! I always feel better after a good physio session with them and come away feeling like they've really listened. They're also just genuinely lovely people!

I have been visiting Marie and Bernadette for more than 30 years and I trust their diagnosis and treatment implicitly. I have recommended them to so many people over the years and continue to do so. They are excellent!

Excellent service by Marie. She has helped me many times with injuries and has provided me with rehab programmes that have enabled me to get back to playing football as fast as possible. I fully recommend!

I am very pleased to report that if you have a back problem as I did Bernadette is the answer to getting the pain sorted so that you can get back to enjoying life again. Her measured experienced approach is exactly what is required. Forget the more whizzy option from other physios who flatter to deceive.

Fixed my shoulder issues right before a big climbing trip, with only a few weeks to work with, made a huge difference and completely shifted my mindset of what the injury was (tightness in spinal joins rather than shoulder instabity) thank you team!!

I went in about a sore elbow and tricep a few months ago. The woman I saw was very dismissive and patronising, told me there was probably nothing wrong, I was just overdoing it (after I told her I had rested it for over a month and it was still painful) and charged me £60 for the pleasure. Several months later (and after I have tried what she suggested) there is no change at all, but I certainly won’t be going back

Marie and Bernadette have managed my rehabilitation for many years, initially from rugby and running injuries and now fell walking and golf . They have a direct, no-nonsense approach that addresses the issues, treats the injury and ensures you know where you are on the road to recovery.

Just "signed off" by the clinic having first hobbled in earlier this year with a lot of back and leg pain due to sciatica. Really good experience of physio combined with home exercises and sound advice with regards to changing my otherwise sedentary lifestyle. In addition to the regular physio sessions, I was able to ring in if ever there were any issues between appointment. When my improvement plateaued at one time they contacted my GP with regards to some prescribed pain relief. Hopefully I will not have need of physio in the future, but if do I will be back here!

Great service and really effective treatment. I had a bicycle accident which left me with a very stiff and painful neck. Family members recommended Marie and Bernadette at Headingly as they had used them in the past. Best decision ever! Would happily recommend and will return in future if ever needed.

I recently returned to the Leeds Sports Injury and Physio Clinic with a painful foot condition that was making it difficult for me to walk. The diagnosis and follow up treatment sessions have been excellent. Exercises were clearly explained and demonstrated and the video record on my phone was really useful memory jog! After just two sessions, I could walk without pain for the first time in months. I really appreciate the professional skill and follow up provided by Marie and |Bernadette, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Once again many thanks. Linden

I recently came back from holiday with a nasty injury on my ankle. I have been to Marie for a few years now, and once again she was so helpful. Marie explains things in such detail, really helping you to understand the injury and the details behind the exercises given, planning a route back to full fitness. I have been to many physios in my time and this stands way above the rest, couldn’t recommend any more.

Great physios, had regular treatment on a problematic right knee which would not straighten and gave me low level pain regularly. I have now been almost pain free for a year. Still doing the exercises to ensure my knee etc gets stronger

I cannot recommend Bernadette and Marie enough. Friendly, supportive, and professional. Treated my torn calf and supported me understand core and leg strengthening exercises to avoid re-injury. Sound, no-nonsense advice that got results. Really appreciated the help.

Bernadette did an amazing job helping me get back to dance after a long-term knee injury. The sessions were really personalised and she was great at explaining what each exercise did. Highly recommend!

👍👍 11 years of chronic pain almost fully healed in 4 sessions over about 3 months. After seeing all kinds of different "experts" I was told it would be a life sentence of "pain management" coping strategies, struggling to make it through each day.
