Half of the people staying here were repeat customers, and the other half were all going to be repeat customers. That's how you know how fantastic this hostel is, in treating everyone like family, the great affordable food, and the awesome FREE breakfast as well as daily housekeeping that keeps everything fresh. I adored the dΓ©cor of the place, the sunrise on the rooftop (it's so pretty I cried) the pool that brings everyone out to hang, the owner's sassy little girl...just everything was perfect. I actually got into a scooter accident while in Bali (be careful with those things. WEAR LONG PANTS) and the staff of the hostel rushed over to where I was, medical kit in hand to help me. I mean, what kind of hotel/hostel does that for people?!?? It's a great quiet location in between Kuta and Seminyak, and walking distance to both if you wanted to. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there and meeting everyone there. It was such a great value that I kinda felt bad paying so little!

A true gem. I've stayed here a few times and for this price it's amazing. Breakfast is included. Pool is clean. The rooms are amazing and clean. They make you feel like a Disney Princess even in the 12 man dorms. A lot of hostels should have a look at that one and see how it should be done room wise! The staff is super helpful and friendly! I highly recommend it.

Great place to stay! Very nice pool, excellent staff who are very helpful with good English. The staff went out of their way to help us find a misplaced motorcycle helmet and also helped us communicate with locals who had poor English. Will definitely stay there again in the future!

The staff were all friendly and The rooms were fine, the pool area is nice, the only issue was the breakfast it was a choice of 1 small slice of bread with one egg or pancakes which were very dry. Served with tea or watery orange juice, we also tried to order from the full menu and they didn’t have half of it

Nice location, near the beach, Clean rooms, comfortable beds Clean swimming pool, toilets are Clean, although for many people few toilet. Lots of sitting places. Free breakfast. It's everything you can ask for. Cons: sometimes you socialize, sometimes you do not. Wifi working speeds is relative. Overall I liked the place.

The Island Hotel quickly became my home-base in Legian, as i returned there at 3 several times, during my Bali trip. Clean and fresh double room. Great value for $. Pool and lounge area is exactly what you need. 2 dorm rooms brings about a great traveller's crowd. All the staff are friendly and easy-going. The restaurant / kitchen is open long hours and has local and western options. Perfect home-base. Tucked away on a small gang, and steps to the main strip and the beach.

Traveled a month through Bali, by far the best hostel I stayed in. Here are some reasons. 1. The breakfast pancakes are to die for! 2. The pool and the places around the pool are very nice. 3. Should probably be number one, the owner. She is an angel who helped me with getting my bank card delivered to her hostel. She let me use her office for a call. And in general she is so nice! 4. Price is very fair as well.

This place has something special about it! Felt at peace for the first time in ages! We met the owners and had found them to be true and genuine β™₯️ 1 of the oldest hostels in Bali but definitely great! Not a crazy party hostel but rather a place to meet and make life long friends.

This is the best little hotel in Bali! Excellent location, beautiful owners who go above and beyond to welcome you, great breakfast. It has everything you need in a hotel for a great price. Aircon is always cold and pool is lovely. Have stayed here many times over the years and can't wait to return again.

One of the best hostels in the area, Mino is so friendly and helpful, the staff are all friendly, the pool was nice and the location is great in the middle of everything. The room was good and the bed was comfy but there were ants everywhere. The bathroom was clean but it smelled weird all the time, probably an issue with the sewers in the area and no ventilation. There is an AC but no TV in the room and no bedside tables. The towels were clean but old, they provided shampoo and body wash. The breakfast is included was two options pancakes or eggs and the pancakes were good. Overall very nice for the price.

Vast difference comparing the 12 bed rooms vs. the 4 bed dorm room, the 12 bed room gets sooooo hot due to the room having medium sized cracks near the doors which lets in the heat and mosquitoes. There were only two air conditioners for a vary large vast room that really needs 4 since there is 4 sections of beds, two fans cover the two sections that don't have air conditioners but you can't feel it since the privacy curtains block them, the curtains are scared curtains with the person above you and sheer. There is no trash can in the room. But they have lockers and chairs to sit down while you unpack and repack. The only issue I had was the heat while trying to go to bed. I don't mind the heat in the day but need the cold at night to sleep. I was sweating throughout the night, to fall asleep I used my wet 1 piece bathing suit as a blanket to cool me down 🀣 -- life hack haha. In both the 4 bed and 12 bed rooms they spray chemicals all over the sheets and bed to kill the germs instead of providing fresh sheets. It really smells like chemicals throughout the room during checkout and check-in. The 4 bed is nice, it gets cold and you have a private shower and toilet. Wifi comes in and out but is mostly strong both in the 4 bed and 12 bed rooms. Pros: owner and daughter are super friendly and they have great customer service. The free breakfast is a pancake or egg with a piece of bread, drink choices are tea or juice. It is a nice location for shopping, food, and the beach. The pool is clean and lovely. Nice showers which get hot. Toilet paper in the bathrooms, and the bathrooms don't get stink.

Beautiful place, very neat and cheap accommodation. Even though we arrived in the evening and there was a fair chance for the rental shop to be closed the receptionist was kind enough to areanara bike for rent at 60k which is the general rentals price for scooters. Pros: near room, the washroom has a nice small closet to put cloths and has both shampoo and body wash, the pool is divine and the breakfast is wonderful as well. Cons: not much really except for the distance from the main road, people might find it a bit difficult to walk the distance especially when they are checking in with all the luggages since 4 wheels cannot go through the street but if you have a two wheeler that you have already rented it's fine. Overall it's worth the πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Stayed at this hostel for several nights and it exceeded my expectations. The property isn't located on a main road thus it gets quiet at night even you are relaxing by the pool. The cafe/restaurant offers various snacks, dishes and drinks plus there is breakfast for free every morning. Staff in general was very friendly and helpful. You can book any tours/tickets in the office and give you advice about locations you consider visiting (and also what not to visit). I stayed in the 4-bedroom dorm which was slightly small for having 4 persons in them, but besides that there is nothing to complain about. Would stay there again!

Quiet hostel in a good location. Rooms have cold AC and the beds are really compfortable. The free breakfast was delicious. There are lockers in the room and plugs for charging. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

Stayed here in 2019 April for 1 Night. The hostel was alittle bit difficult to find. Love the beds, really comfortable beds and the aircon was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have a cute petite pool which is just perfect. Only problem were with the toilets- they were alittle dirty and smelly, and the flush doesnt work. Otherwise, i enjoyed my stay
