If you are into building decor or DIYs you will be excited like a child in a candy shop when you enter here. They have most things you will need for finishes to your building or for maintenance. They have light fittings, doors, plumbing and bathroom fittings, paints and many more. The equally have a large range of DIY tools... drills; cutters, saw and everything. Downside is that staff are not very helpful; again their prices are a bit steep and by the way their electrical lights are LED and mostly screw bulbs. For small tools like pliers, spanners, screwdrivers etc; try Home Bargains next Door the prize difference will wow you.

Store managed by failed under achievers like our friend Paul Rude and unhelpful. Tell your kids to work hard at school or they could end up like Paul. Don’t be like Paul , be a good manager and deliver good customer service

Went in at around 20 minutes to 8 in the evening. I asked two different members of staff for help and got point to an aisle. One of the two was at the end of the aisle I'd been directed to and I again asked for help. A complete waste of time, as she and the other members of staff seemed more interested in going home than helping me a customer. So if you need something from here perhaps best make it at least a couple or three hours before they close. As customer service is nonexistent otherwise.

I've been shopping with b&q for years in store and online which they do a delivery service which I've used a few times. Customer service agents in store are very helpful and willing to go that extra mile. Thankyou B&Q

Only nipped in as I was in the area and needed a bag of screws. Plenty of parking spaces available, easily found the screws and I didn’t have to queue to pay, sorted!

Great B&Q store in a really good location not too far out from the city centre, and right next to Abbey park. Staff are always friendly and helpful, never too long of a wait at the tills and have always managed to find a parking space without issue.

They keep brand products and quite responsibly priced very good customer service. Paint, bathroom, plumbing... all under one roof at competitive prices. What more can you ask for. Very good for a local store, the selection of paints is excellent, and staff are always very helpful. They keep brand products and quite responsibly priced very good customer service and friendly staff. Team Always gave great advice and guided me on everything I needed.

Great sized store with good stock levels, never had a problem with stock levels for finding what’s needed. Staff have always been friendly and helpful from my experience and I’ve asked for help finding items on many occasions and they’ve always took me straight to them without hesitation and in some instances recommended a better alternative. Prices for the most part are okay on some items however they are some that seem a little overpriced for what they are and not competitive with other places but it’s to be expected. They B&Q loyalty program they do is pretty good and always dishing out money off vouchers which have saved a decent amount of money over the times I’ve shopped there.

I just want to share I had a pleasant experience with Abbie this evening. It was about 745pm and considering the store was about to close, she was so attentive and helpful in getting my paint samples. I very rarely enjoy going to this store as there never seems to be any staff around and when there is, the response I get is 'This is not my department' However, whilst Abbie was helping me, there were other people walking past with enquiries and she managed to assist us all! Great work Abbie. Thank you.

Recently visited the centre as we are looking at getting a new kitchen. Our design specialist was Julie Staples. She was simply fantastic. She was very knowlegable, patient and kind. A real credit to the team.

Huge thanks to Harry who helped me solve a tricky plumbing problem. He was so understanding and patient with my complete ignorance.

I am very well pleased by the service I am receiving from this store in Leicester. One miss Mandeep has been extremely helpful in serving and doing the refunds when I had to return few items. As our building works are going on, I had to visit the store multiple times in a week and during all my visits all members of staff has been really charming to serve me my purpose. Katie has also been very helpful. Thank you very much indeed to all staffs at Devonshire Road, Leicester.

A good range of products available but rather pricey. A toilet seat cost me £30. Nice selection of plants in the garden centre. Worth a visit.

Not a bad store if you need something quick and off the shelf. The inventory is quite limited, with a poor selection of tools, power tools, wood, flooring and tile. Prices are average and staff are about as helpful as a burnt out bulb at night.

If you need help with paints, Abbie is the woman to go too. Really friendly, funny and helpful. She took her time; had great knowledge about different hues and undertones. In the end we chose some amazing colours and are pleased with the outcome. Ask for Abbie when you go next, coloured eyes and tattoos.

Love walking around this store, have to try keep myself from the tool section though otherwise I always end up buying something for the tool collection. 😂

Plenty for the DIY fan and trade. If I'm honest I use B&Q for convenience. I really find them expensive, even with my trade point card you still have to spend over £250 a month to qualify for any discount. Good level of stock.

Went in for some MDF, good that you can get it trimmed for free here. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Drove my friend to get a Click & Collect Order. Only went as far as the door with the Paperwork and the very helpful young lady could see I was struggling with my disability, took me through the storage area to where a helpful young man had found my order on a trolley, he saw I was struggling and pushed the trolley to my vehicle parked in the closest Disabled space where my friend unloaded it. The whole process took about 10 minutes, the Staff are Super Efficient and extremely helpful, I would really recommend this B&Q for this Service. Well done Ladies and Gentlemen who were working on the day, your helpfulness gives you 5☆plus.

The prices are a bit chaoticaly placed around rhe shelves, we had a totally different amount on the cheque than what we had from the shelves. Otherwise helpful staff and a pleasure to be in the store.

Love this B and Q but god forbid you ever need a wee! The customer toilets smell like the gates of hell! I couldn’t even open the door without retching. Would rather have sat on one of the display loos a revived myself publicly up the plumbing aisle.

Expensive! Poor customer service on more occassions than I can count now. Don't know why we go in there as we now have a jewsons, tool station, selco and Howdens and other DIY stores to choose from.

If you can't find your DIY needs at B and Q then ik not sure where you go. The prices are fairly high at times but in a pinch they have what you need. Popped in for a euro lock and came away with a few bits. The staff are friendly enough and pointed me in the right direction.

I had a bad issue at the trade point with one of the staff members (Sean) I have never had and issue with proof of address, trade point card or my post code. The customer before me confirmed with his address and they agreed. However when I gave my post code, trade point card and proof of address the staff did not let me continue even when the other staff supported me yet Sean still disagreed and did not allow me to purchase the products. I am very unhappy with his service today.

I want to say a huge thank you to Jermaine who's customer service was outstanding. I came in looking for a strimmer at a reasonable price. I noticed the macallister 1000w strimmer was on clearance at £42. Jermaine checked the stock which was discontinued and sold out, and, after checking similar stock which was also unavailable, he radioed a colleague to check if i could have the display model and i walked away with an absolute bargain. He went above and beyond so i juat want to say thank you and hope the management see this and give you the credit you deserve! Fantastic :)

The prices and products here at b & q Leicester are good. However last time we were told by a staff to do our own self check out , what a pain, a long slab of wood we bought will not be scanned automatically had to get more help, waste even more time

This store has just about everything you need if your a fan of D.I.Y. However, although the aisles are well signed I find that looking for small items very tedious. It seems that no matter what room you are decorating, if you want a small item then good luck to you. Also, a bit on the pricey side.

Popped in to find some lvt flooring that was old stock on clearance. A guy called Paul helped us find the product and was very helpful and understanding. Nice to find some real good staff. Give that man a pay rise for being so helpful and polite.

👍👍 Fabulous home decor shop and café, full of adorable products, plants, and wonderful perfumes (special mention to the Inis perfume). Always refreshing and peaceful whenever I pop in. I find their cakes super delicious! Everything is just so nice about this place. It can get busy during the weekend...
