This place is should be very high on your list. There's a reason this restaurant is always completely booked on weekends, the service is great and quick, the food is good and the ambience is beautiful. The tables and seats are spacious, you don't feel cramped, and if you reserve your seat in advance, you'll have a great experience. The prices are a bit hefty, with some burgers (without fries) already going up to 18 Euros, the same is valid for the drinks, since some drinks already start at 5 Euros. One thing that is apparent in a lot of burger restaurants is that the meat is frozen, and not fresh, which is a disappointment, but the burger still tastes very good. The menu mainly consists of burgers, ranging from vegan to vegetarian to meat.

Not only the hamburgers are really expensive, but also the menus they are offering are an absolute scam. I attach a photo of what they consider a menu: They publish the picture of a hamburger (18 euros one), chips/salate und cocktail, but the remarked price refers only to the two latter. Good strategy to make you go for the cocktail and ending up paying more than 30 por person.

For this price food is not at all good. The portions are very small and nothing special. For what is in the picture I paid 23 euros. But the atmosphere is nice and lively. Young people and loud music. However, I would not go again…

1 Hour waiting for a burger on Wednesday evening…. I don’t think it’s OK Hope it worth it - I haven’t tasted the meals yet Meals was also nothing special. This little onion piece is add on for extra 0,50 Euro by the way

OMG just had the worst experience ever!! Waitress with red hair seemed nice at first, one of us ordered a completely plain chicken burger (other two of us didn’t) the plain one came with burger sauce and my son did his best but clearly wasn’t enjoying it (the other two meals were average at best) we explained their error and asked for another one - they took it away and it came back on a fresh bun with the sauce just scraped off so still on it!!!! The lady then blamed her English for not understanding, refused to take it off the bill and so we skipped the desert we paid for, paid and left. Please please avoid!!! Wouldn’t even give 1 star if I could

First I can see it is really beautiful almost farm interiér and lovely atmosphere. Waiters ware so nice BUT they did take my drink 😭😭when I was TAKING in bathroom. Menu is so big and vegan friendly for burger restaurant. Food it is so good the meat was juicy, bun so soft and good and a sauce so yummy. overall it is nice here would go again 9/10

***Update*** Came back for lunch with my parents, and dined in. Here, I tried 'die Legende' Burger, which was amazing. Felt like I had an entire dinner crammed between two buns. My mother loved her Trüffelfee Burger, and my father loved his Huttenfreunde as well. The mehrkorn buns seem to be the tastiest option, for Burger buns. Unlike my previous takeout experience, the fries and onion rings we ordered were cooked to perfection - very hot and Crispy, but not greasy at all. The cheese sauce was ok, but the truffle cream was amazing for dipping. Our drinks, peter's passion, were also fantastic. Updating my score from four to five stars for the wonderful lunch experience... But only if you get a table and eat in. ***Previous, takeout review*** The 'Trüffelfee' Burger I ordered tasted fantastic - doubly so because I took advantage of the Monday vegetarian promotion, which reduced the price, in combination with the discount for ordering takeaway online. Got an excellent vegan burger for an excellent price. I highly recommend taking advantage of the meatless Monday deal. The NiceTea was also very tasty. I tried the Mango-lemongrass one, and it was good. Not super sweet, but still with good flavour. Sadly I'm removing a star for the fries. They were cold and soggy, despite picking them up within a few minutes of the scheduled time - they'd obviously been sitting out for a while and were not recommendable. If you're ordering take-out, just get the burger and grab a soda from aldi or something. They're not worth the expense, buying a Burger 'menu'. Service for the pick up was very slow. The place seems exceptionally busy, so even if you order ahead, you'll still be waiting a while for the staff to get to you. From what I saw, the interior of the restaurant had excellent decor and atmosphere. Would love to reserve a table and dine-in, sometime.

If you like warmed up meat patties which were grilled sometimes yesterday or at best during that day, this is place for you. Otherwise avoid, patties were just warmed up not even cheese could melt, dry and 0 fats, beef burgers are disgrace. Will not even comment on price/gain ratio

Overall a good place, downside is the waiting time for food and price. Two beers and a medium cost burger with fries 36€. Food was good by the way and is a cozy place.

It lost quality. This place had the best burgers in Leipzig in the past. However today the quality of the meat decreased tremendously. It taste like cheap burger from supermarket, which is much cheaper. Additionally, the staff was not friendly (not all of them) there were plenty of empty tables but they insisted us to seat were they wanted and not where we wanted, without any good argument. We felt really uncomfortable all the time, definitely we’ll never comeback.

Food was good but not that warm, flavors made up for the disappointment. Ordered wine for during our dinner. Came when we where done with eating. Correctly deducted from our bill. Hopefully it was just this once since the concept is great. Now the execution.

Simply the best burgers in Liepzig! The Pete’s dinner set was absolute good value! If you’re into sweet potato, do try the sweet potato fries with your choice of sauce.. I had it with truffle cream and it was absolutely decadent

The whole vibe of the restaurant is really cool, the lights, the music,... Unfortunately the food and service was not as expected. Fries and burgers were dry and the nachos are like the supermarket ones and come without any sauce. Staff were friendly but forgot to give us the menu and we had to wait a long time until our food was served. Price is expensive for the quality they offer and personally I wouldn't come back.

We've always been fans of Peter Pane. Our experience at this location was average mainly due to long waiting times for orders to be taken and service. Nevertheless the food was delicious!

Appalling service!!! Restaurant manager seemed extremely annoyed wanting to give us a table of 8! ( including 4 kids) After asking why he seemed flustered and bothered he said, well he can give us a table for 1,5hrs - after all it’s the best Restaurant in Leipzig. We decided not to dine in there. When leaving Feedback while exiting we found out that this was indeed the Restaurant Manager. Worst service EVER!

Very nice place, good staff. Maybe we are old school, but burgers seemed too dry. No tomato or gurken or lettuce... and don't get me wrong, quite tasty. But we left with very heavy stomachs.

Good ambiance but i think they get overwhelmed by the number of guests. So, 1) The attendant got the order wrong..never noted an item that was requested of him. 2) The kitchen got the plating wrong and so the items mentioned in that dish came incomplete. 3) Tooooo long service times but maybe because the Burgers are delicious (which i never got to eat because of point number 1) 4) Drinks were good.

Very bad experience. We have seen the restaurant full several times. The review score was 4+. This encourages us to give it a chance. The food is very bad. The burger is too dry. The bread is not fresh. The meat of the burger tasted like the one you buy from a supermarket freezer. Very little sauce, vegetables and cheese inside the burger. For a 17 Euro burger, I expect more than this. It is overpriced. The place is not clean. The table was dirty. The toilet was out of paper towels.

Logging into the corona tracing timer before entry was difficult, plus wifi was mostly malfunctioning during our time of stay. Otherwise delicious foods and their large varieties of burgers, drinks. Friendly staff and food was delivered very fast. Fancy interior of the restaurant too. Highly recommend restaurant.
