Waterlijn rondvaarten Amersfoort

Tourist attraction

👍👍 Had a lovely experience. Do buy tickets in advance on sunny days as they do sell out. Ask for the big "Johan van Olde Barneveld" boat to be able to sit in the moving direction of the boat for the best pictures. Guides are very very friendly. Inquire for the English/German/French handout or APP with... People often mention tour, Dutch, boat, nice, Amersfoort, friendly, English,

We recommend. During the canal cruise you definitely get the best impression of how beautiful Amersfoort is

Ask for the big "Johan van Olde Barneveld" boat to be able to sit in the moving direction of the boat for the best pictures. Guides are very very friendly. Inquire for the English/German/French handout or APP with audio-guide, as the tour is in Dutch spoken. Recommended, even if for the pictures alone. Had a holiday feeling. 5*****

Had the opportunity to go sailing last week. Nice friendly men who took us along. 1 skipper and 1 narrator. Unfortunately, the microphone regularly failed, so it was difficult to hear in the back of the boat. That's the only downside. Very nice!

Amersfoort is a lovely little town that offers canal cruises. Unfortunately the trip was in Dutch so we didn't understand everything, but it was nice.

A wonderful boat trip. The children really liked it too. Everything was actually sold out that day. The lady at the information desk was so nice and got us places at short notice and put us on a boat.

The tour is in Dutch, but there is a German information sheet describing the sights. The West Tour lasts 45 minutes, the staff are friendly and you can either buy tickets in store or pre-order online. We liked it very much.

Very friendly and interesting canal cruise in Dutch, spoken clearly and clearly. No problem for me in terms of understanding, but there is apparently some form of translation. I only knew Amersfoort from several tours - next time I'll definitely take a tour again! The providers, boatmen and narrators are all volunteers and the price is very fair. Google has censored some photos of the tour, two works of art (a larger-than-life polar bear peeing in front of the Flehite Museum and a stone carving depicting a Jew). I then deleted them.

Only €7 per person for nearly 1hr 😊. Very dedicated and informative staff. The boat was comfy enough and the sightseeing is excellent. Wear a hat if it's sunny and carry an umbrella if there's a chance of rain

Exceptional experience and incredible value for money. There are two boat tours the east tour has no English guide available but will do that next visit any way. The west bound tour you can download an English commentary via the izi app available to down load on both platforms apple and Google Play. See the tour site for details. The tours and commentary are undertaken in Dutch by older Dutch citizens. They have great knowledge. This tour is one of the nicest gentle activities available in Amersfoort. Recommended without hesitation.

Piet the boat driver was awesome. He gave me the English translation of what the Dutch speaker was saying. Amersfoort is a beautiful city to visit, and if you do, you need to do this!

With work, we had a congress in Amersfoort. We also had the opportunity in the evening to walk around the city and also to take a boat tour on the canals. Thank you for your kindness, very nice visit. We see the city from another angle.

For €7.50 this was a nice tour that lasted just short of an hour. All the tour guides are 55 or older and volunteers. They are all super friendly and seemed very informative. While the tour is all in Dutch, there is a pamphlet they can give you in many different languages. Even though I didn't understand anything that was said, it was cool to see the city from the canals and I definitely enjoyed the sunshine!

We did the West route which lasted 45min, the tour was in Dutch but they provided a pamphlet with some information in English. I'd be happy to go back and take a tour on the other routes.
