The whole experience is terrible The room is extremely dirty, extremely small, lacking of plugs (all of this also happens in the bathroom). Receptionists are horrible when it comes to helping and are always in a bad mood. The wifi network was not working in our room (126) and I asked 2 different receptionists to help me and the only answer I got was that they could do nothing and that they were not “magic man”. Ver expensive for what you pay I absolutely do not recommend staying in this hotel.

If I could rather 0 I would do it. This hotel should reconsider business. We had to stayed there for one night and it was a nightmare for me. 1. Internet doesn’t work : guy in the front desk ask me to sit in the front desk if I need to work because router doesn’t work and downstairs area it’s horrible . Non space to sit comfortably and there is not way you feel secure to be there working with your computer 2. Bathroom wasn’t been clean . It smells and walls / shower had mold on it 3. Curtains were stains, burn and with holes 4. There wasn’t tv, mirror , shampoo, hand soap on the room. 5. Stairs were a night mare and easy to get lost through the building so when they asked to go to work downstairs I was like ? What? Going 4 floors down to them go for a hiking in the middle of the night with lot of noise and violent people outside ? No thanks. 6. Before we leave we told the guy in the main desk about the cleanliness and curtains and basic stuff that could be improve and more that asking us to email them , he said : what do you expect for a 1 star hotel ? Man! Only thing I am asking you is to clean and basic services! And clean well! I’m not asking you for anything else ! Just basic stuff !

The location is great, close to everything in the center. Beds were clean and comfortable. We had a full bathroom in the room, but it was moldy and looked dirty. There is no elevator, so you will have to carry everything up .Consider bringing ear plugs outside is very noisy.

This hotel is a classic case of "you get what you pay for." It's located near the city center, so expect some noise, and the soundproofing isn't great. Investing in earplugs might be a good idea. It's suitable for young people who enjoy nightlife but not recommended for families. One major concern is the steep stairs and unreliable handrails on one floor. If you're traveling light with just a backpack, it's manageable, but it could be challenging with a lot of luggage. Additionally, there seem to be cleanliness and maintenance issues in the bathrooms, with a noticeable smell of urine and loose screws on the doorknobs causing noise when opening or closing them.

It was the WORST experience I ever had in a hotel. The place is totally different than what was described. The room was tiny, old and dirty. This room was for 1 person not 3. There was no TV, nor hairdryer and basically nothing but a simple room, despite saying otherwise in the description. On one of the curtains there was a huge SNOT Stuck on it. In addition, our pillows were so yellow out of other people's SWEAT, that we had to use a shirt to cover it and be able to sleep. - Sleeping there at night was impossible due to a really bad sound proofing. Most of the other rooms were very noisy but the hotel staff did nothing for that. I had to go and buy earplugs in order to sleep. - The bathroom was even worse. It was really tiny and FILTHY. Since day one there was some ORANGE DIRT stuck on the bath tab and I really don't wanna know what that was. All of the tiles anchorages where black, full of MOLD. The celling was full of MOLD too and the glass-shelf was broken. - We had to stay there for 3 nights because we had booked and payed in advance and would lose all of our mnoney, which was a lot more than what this room was worth. In those 3 days they would change our towels only once. On that day they brought us a towel with a big HOLE on it. - Last but not least, on the last day they canceled our door card key 1 hour before the checkout and we couldn't get in our room and get our baggages. The room cleaner opened the room for us and insisted that we should leave the room earlier. He was very RUDE and pressuring. We wanted to use the bathroom and finish packaging our baggages. One of the 3 of us left earlier and the room cleaner entered our room WITHOUT knocking, while my other friend was getting ready and I was using the bathroom and he insisted that we should leave the room earlier and wait at the reception with our friend. I highly recommend that everyone should avoid this place at any cost.

One of the worst stays ever. This place is so run down and dirty. 1 layer window, no isolation. Neighbors are heard through the walls as well as usage of toilet and opening of doors. We were there on a Tuesday, did not help with noise level. Could hardly sleep as there was drunk people outside of hotel all the time with pubs basically outside the door as well as tram station and cars going by flooding the room with light with courtains not covering the whole windows and terribly bug bitten. In the morning big cleaning machines start at 6 in the morning to sweep of the nights broken glass from the streets. Bunk beds had no rail making it easy to fall out during the night and to land on furniture in the tiny room. One of the beds had no stairs to climb. Stairs to the room was very steep and narrow. Not compatible with suitcases. Luggage kept for the day was just places open in the reception for anyone to grab. Recommend a locker room which we found a few hundred meters away. Do not book!

The only good thing was very close to Central Station. The rooms are very basic, and the bathroom is sadly very dirty, after shower, the smell of old pee was coming out. No good feeling when using the bathroom, the shower only a courtain and splashed water all over. Very centric.

My rating has a big caveat, which is that it's a good hotel if you know what you're getting. If you're going to Amsterdam on a budget to drink, party, watch football (my reason) or just generally have a good time then it's pretty much perfect. The location is extremely central. The rooms are very basic but definitely habitable. There was a little bit of mold in the corner of ours and the curtains were a bit disgusting but other than that the room was quite clean. My bed was well used but clean and I had a decent sleep both times I used it. There was lot of street noise though. The stairs were extremely steep and numerous but I think the same applies to many buildings in central Amsterdam. There was no toilet in our room, just a single one for the floor but again its was clean and usable. In summary if you just want a place to sleep and keep your things whilst you do stuff it's very good. If you want a nice experience that includes your accommodation or are on a family trip then probably don't stay here.

Rooms weren’t as bad as I thought, clean sheets and towels, but they weren’t cleaned properly for ages. Shower is unusable, because of a mold. The service was mean and poor.

Ok I had to make a review because initially I was nervous about all the negative reviews. I was on an overnight layover and it was cheaper and same amount of time with a shuttle service to stay here. Plus I could get dinner somewhere nice, not in the city center. Staff was professional, rooms are spartan, yes it’s noisy. All you need to do to deal with the noise is think ahead and buy some foam earplugs and a sleep mask. Great deal. Just think ahead, and use a little common sense and you’ll be fine.

Absolutely fine experience when staying with them over the weekend. Yes the room was basic hence 3 star but it is a budget hotel so it was as expected! Location excellent, I’d definitely recommend and stay there again

Disgusting and moldy! Not recommended. Way too expensive for that service But it’s nice community feeling tho, because you feel like the whole floor lives in your room because of the loud surrounding noises and the cardboard walls.
