Great DoubleTree hotel with exceptional services! Received a very nice complimentary upgrade with a golf course view, which was outstanding! The room was bright and clean, the bathroom came with a bathtub, stand-alone shower and toilet, big TV on the wall, the room was well designed and decorated. The restaurant offered a great range of breakfast, the pool was amazingly large, wellness services are available on site. The bar made us some perfect cocktails and had some great stories with each cocktail. Unfortunately my wife got ill during our stay and the hotel staff did everything possible to provide us with all necessary care and offered exceptional customer service which I only expected to receive in a Waldorf Astoria hotel. Job well done, we will definitely come back for a longer stay!

Location and bedroom is amazing! The restaurant is okay, but is not the best, partly because the same space is used for breakfast and dinner. The bar has a great variety of drinks available and is super cosy.

Great Hilton near Amersfoort. Rooms are great and with some excellent views over the Golf Course (from your Balcony 😎) Rooms are spacious and have a modern decor. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is good (apart from the Scrambled egg which is a bit hard/over-cooked 😕) and the Restaurant has a nice chilled feeling, so a great way to start the morning. The staff are really helpful (I forgot my Adapter and they found one for me 👍). The hotel is a bit out of the way, so you'll really need a car, but it's seclusion is what makes it so good 👍

The room we stayed in was spacious and fully equipped. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is nice, very peaceful. Those are the only two positive things I have to say about the hotel. There is a management/communication problem here. I didn't saw a single manager by the way! The first evening we waited an hour for our food in the restaurant and nobody came to our table to ask us if we wanted something to drink. It seems like people don't want to make money here! In addition, it is not really customer-friendly. The same goes for the breakfast service. It was very chaotic and understaffed. I don't blame the staff, they work really hard. A nice hotel, but I would recommend the management to hire more staff and/or invest in hospitality and service training.

    1) Simply forgot to clean the room. When I told them about it (around 5pm) - promised to clean straight away. However just dropped the towels and left everything else because there was no housekeeper. 2) Had to wait for the preordered food for more than 40 min - around an hour (the banquet was ordered way ahead). 3) the waitress spilled a few beers on the back and hair, apologized and cleaned by paper towels. Not her fault, she was very nice. However the overall experience - the hotel is very understaffed, the level of service leave much to be desired and not customer friendly…

Wonderful for rest and relaxation. Great food, rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. Some amenities missing such as a vanity kit, probably due to Covid. In the middle of a wooded area that smells wonderful and fresh. Parking is plenty and free (note that other hotels in other locations charge up to 30 euros for this service). The location is perfect for rest or if your planning to visit many different locations in the Netherlands or nearby Germany. Utricht and Amesfoort are nearby, with plenty of charm. However, it is not a good location if you need to be in the big cities such as Amsterdam or Rotterdam.

All from the beginning was well. The check-in, the swimming pool, the room, the service, the breakfast, until 12 o'clock. We had a booking until 4 but around 12 we received a phone call from the reception that our key cards were blocked. Our booking till 4 was only with availability. That meant we could not go to the pool a d the sauna area because our keys were blocked. Because of the call feom the reception we did not feel welcome and comfortable anymore and decided to pack up and go. Our wonderful stay now has a bitter aftertaste, sad to say.

This is a very nice location for those who play golf and like nature. The modern rooms are big and the bathroom is modern. Breakfast is really good. We will certainly be back one day.

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with wife and baby. The location is in the middle of the woods with plenty of options to go for a walk or to visit the nearby military museum. The parking is free with plenty of spaces and is well lit with camera surveillance. Rooms are spacious and look recently renovated. Overall I found the room to be clean and comfortable. The pool in the basement is large enough and kids are allowed entry, for us this was a plus as we could take our little one swimming. But it might affect those searching for a calm and serene experience at times. During the daytime the hotel was very calm, but at night it seemed to come to life. The hotel bar was full, the cocktails were good and the restaurant also served some tasty food and drinks. The next day we were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. Special shout out to the excellent staff who figured out it was my birthday and really made me feel welcome and cared for! It was really appreciated! We really felt like we had a little mini-break and would not hesitate to book again.

Really nice hotel with balconies on rooms, a pool, sauna and Turkish bath (open until 10pm), good facilities e.g. ping pong table, snooker table. Close to beautiful Soest and the sand dunes nearby are wonderful - super clear view of the stars at night!

Rooms are nice and renovated. Very spacious and clean. Booked 2 rooms and vas happy. It’s very quiet and green around. Free parking! The pool is wonderful and warm. The size is great bigger than most places I stayed where you get a small box sized pool. But the best is that the water is warm and you can actually go in and swim. Did not use sauna. Breakfast was yummy

I am truly loving staying at the Doubletree Soestduinen. It is an amazing and beautiful location, the rooms and all the facilities are clean and kept up, the pool and sauna are inviting. The most important thing as everywhere are the people. They have all been warm and accepting making me feel comfortable and at home.

This hotel was wonderful to stay at. Located in a quiet golf course area. Hotel has a nice indoor pool with a spa and gym. Breakfast was great the mini Dutch pancakes were my favorite. You can rent bikes if you want to take advantage of the numerous bike paths that are available right outside the hotel. Will definitely stay here again. The only thing I did miss about staying at the double tree was the evening cookies lol. Best part they are dog friendly. 10/10

Fantastic stay, very comfy beds, great staff. We loved the pool and the sauna, and especially the fantastic opening times from 6:00-22:00. We especially thank the receptions when checking out for leaving a very good impression and making us want to return.

Stayed here a couple of times before, but this time was my first stay at a 1-bedroom suite. If you are familiar with the Hilton App, you know you will normally be allowed to select your own room. Because the hotel did not pre-pick a suite for me, I decided to try for the best one available. Which is what I got: a 'real royals-worthy' one bedroom-suite, overlooking the golf course (just check the photos). Was really happy with it. During this one-night stay, did my usual things: jog a couple of Ks around the hotel, swim half a mile in their indoor pool, performed strength workouts in the gym. The following day took a trip along the express-bicycling path through the woods towards Amersfoort. Before you reach that city, you'll pass Animal Pak Amersfoort, which is like 5 km from the hotel. And 2 km further is the city itself, which dates back to Medieval Times. And as an extra from this visit, from a cultural agenda leaflet I took along, I realized that the Soest and Baarn-area has many theatrical, musical, and social events going on - like almost every weekend. Besides, there is the 'Herman van Veen' arts center next door, which often has free events. So next time I'll prepare a bit better and try to schedule an event in that area.

Hotel is nice but they are renovating and between 8 and 15 there is constant drilling and noise. So make sure the renovations are done before booking.

Nick helped me with our reservation on the phone. What a fantastic experience before we even stayed at the hotel. He’s detailed, polite, friendly and speaks clearly. One of the most pleasant hotel reservation experience over the phone for me.

Despite a less modern outer façade, the rooms are excellent and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great, incl. the espresso ☕️ A wonderful pool, sauna and hammam, where kids are also allowed (with supervision). Staff also helpful.

Recommended • in some areas a refurbishment needs to be done. The breakfast is delicious combined with a very kind service. The pool is great, 15m and warm enough for our kids! Sauna and steam bath are good as well. Free parking in front of the door available. Wi-Fi with high speed everywhere available. We would be back one day.

Really positive about this hotel. Good parking, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms looks recently refurbished, nice breakfast selection, amazing and large pool, free sauna. We didn't eat in restaurant for dinner, so can't review that. The only thing that can be improved is the lighting in the breakfast area, it's pretty dark. Recommended.

Have frequented this hotel a handful of times, and it’s usually a great value given the nice balconies and peaceful surroundings, but this last visit was not so good. The cleanliness of the room is not great, both the sheets and the glasses are dirty. The construction noise on the roof is quite noticeable. And the scrambled eggs at breakfast leave a lot to be desired. The orange juice is excellent though! I do like this hotel a lot, but the noise is a very disappointing addition. Edit: Housekeeping was super nice and seemingly very tentative so not sure what happened the first night.

Stay away from this hotel! very unfriendly staff and they do not respect the 'kids stay free' and will make you pay double or kick you out of the hotel. We have been hhonors diamond members for over 15 years and this never happened to us before.

Great hotel close to a Par 3 golf course and Soester Duinen. Spa with pool, two saunas and breakfast with great variety. However, rooms could be cleaner and staff was missing at the breakfast. That‘s why it‘s minus 1 star…

Former "Hilton"- now as "Doubletree" with nicely refurbished rooms. Bathroom was brand-new ! All amendities one would expect from a 4* were there. One of the last remaining brand-hotels with all rooms with BALCONY.... (smokers retreat). Restaurant inside OK - Terrace outside acceptable. Menu definitely too limited. Food very tasty and freshly prepared, though. Staff very friendly, although many "rookies" aboard... Breakfast "at the brink" for a 4*. Scrambled eggs made from liquid egg and barely cooked. Bacon flabby. "Bread" = it's not the Dutchs fault, but they don't have bread ;-) (saying that as a German) Food overall fresh and nicely presented. Very friendly and helpful "Breakfast-Lady". Vast parking-lot right in front of hotel (free) . Rooms with "garden view" offer beautiful views of manicured GOLFCOURSE, right behind hotel ! Overall gratifying experience. Recommendation for those seeking a rest from daily hustle

Our experience at this DoubleTree Hotel has changed our futur choices. - Location: The location is exquisite and lovely dwelled in the middle of nowhere with a beautiful golf field around. Really nice and cozy location. - Food : The food was delicious and well prepared. We had to eat in the room unfortunately due to COVID restrictions but the diner was great. - Room : The room was spacious and clean. Nothing to say on the expected price / quality ratio. - Staff : That's where the weakness and unfortunately fatal point lays. Inexperienced, unwilling and terribly bad staff. We had to deal with a front desk assistant extremely bad and totally spaced out. We lost an item in the hotel and after many calls ( they never call you back) we have been told they didn't find anything in the room while we called 2 hours after leaving. The next day and couple of days later as well. Nobody did anything in the hotel. If you don't have to, don't go there.

Worst experience ever! Wanted to have a relaxing staycation, in the nature and in a luxury Hotel. You have the nature, but the hotel is way too far from giving Luxury feeling. - Facility very basic- recently renewed but in a quite cheap way (when you shower in the king suite room - it leaks everywhere..can't immagine the status of the standard room) - Spa facility is very basic - Food is good - Breakfast quite average level, nothing special - Staff is not customer oriented as all Strongly suggest you to not waste your money and time here!

Fine rooms on the 1st floor, nice breakfast with lots of choices. Restaurant food at the hotel was not my best experience. Location is great if you are looking for a central point to stay.

The hotel has a good location (walking distance from the dunes). The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast has a variety of sweets and savory. We were pleasantly surprised.
