The location in the forest is nice and peaceful, but the facilities of the hotel are not up to par to a 4 star hotel. I attended a work event here and during the night it was terribly cold (22 September 2022). I asked if anything can be done about it and they gave me a room that is "less cold" but the reception said that there is no heating in the hotel. There were only 4⁰C outside on that night and I was very cold. From a 4 star hotel I would expect at least a comfortable temperature. I understand gas prices are high now, but that's why the room rate is priced accordingly. Moreover, the walls between the rooms are really thin so I could hear everything that was discussed in the neighbouring rooms. Bonus: I was woken up at 5 a.m. by a really loud sound of a stream of pee, because one of the neighbours went to the bathroom then. I also heard really well the flushing of the toilet afterwards... I will not go back there again.

It is our second time to visit this beautiful and trendy hotel in the mids of the woods. We booked a deluxe double room, it's comfy and spacious enough for a small family traveling with little ones. Also enjoyed the "feel at home" style lobby with sofa, fireplace, free coffee, cookies, magazines and board games. It turned out to be mostly raining days during our stay and we still got to spend relaxing family times just in the hotel. Restaurant is also good, fine food and very friendly for kids with outdoor and indoor play areas. Nice hotel for a weekend getaway, both for couples and families!

Very cozy hotel with lovely service. Stayed 2 nights over the weekend with a group during a company retreat. We were absolutely touched by the extra mile Chie went for us when despite being already done with his shift and ready to go home at 22:30 he offered to reopen the bar for us and gave us the most amazing service with complimentary shots of digestives to end the awesome night! absolute legend 🙌🏻

We stayed here with a group of company founders and I had no expectation of the hotel, other than having a place to stay for the night during our retreat. It exceeded all of our expectations; the reception was super efficient and friendly, the rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable and every staff member we encountered was wonderful. Special shoutout to Chi the bartender who went out of his way to make our last night special. Great job everyone!

Their 4-star designation is really pushing the floor for a 4star hotel. Hospitality is what you’d expect in a rural, small market 3star hotel. We found our bathroom’s toilet with skidmarks upon arrival in the room (gross, what else aren’t they cleaning?), basic amenities such as a mini fridge, hairdryer, or ironing machine were lacking from the room. Lastly the hotel’s event venue hosted a wedding party till late in the night, yet we were given a room right above the venue making for a restless night. The ladies managing the reception were kind, but management should’ve coordinated room assignments to not be impacted by the wedding. Lastly, the hotel’s restaurant was very basic, with a cookie-cutter concept and menu. Not all drinks on the menu were available, and servers weren’t trained to offer any type of customer’s request ( *had never heard of a medium-rare steak, only understood a steak to be either medium or well done?* and couldn’t offer a side of vegetables?). However, I suspect this to be lack of training and coordination, again, as servers were friendly and tried their best as far as I could tell, and the food they did serve wasn’t bad by any means.

Most lovely staff! Surrounded by nature and great food. The only thing missing is a gym. Would love to come again!

The staff were kind and helpful..The hotel is located in a quiet and remote location , the service provided and the room was alright overall .

I have to say, I was very satisfied with the service. My family and I had a late check in after the long trip. My daughter was a bit hungry and even though the restaurant was already closed, we get some snacks and fruits from receptionist. The location is awesome, very calm and covered with a forest in which we had a nice walk after tasty breakfast. Thanks for taking care🙏 We will definitely plan our route through your hotel next time) ☺️

I would like to thank you for your experience. I had booked 2 nights at the hotel but inadvertently booked the month after my arrival. Inès and Norman were very attentive and were able to find a solution quickly. In addition, the rooms are spacious and clean and there are shared areas with lots of board games to play with friends or family. I'd definitely recommend it!

Fail with a great F! Seemingly proper and cosy but when your bed is crawling with cockroaches you know there is a hygiene issue. Be aware they come out at night.

Excellent place to stay and relax surrounded by nature. Conveniently close to trails for hiking and cycling whether for spontaneous or planned adventures. Do note the hotel also rent bikes if you need one

Lovely place in a really natural environment. We stayed for 5 days and had a really nice time. There is an awesome Brasserie and superb breakfast. However the real star is nature, directly connected to the hotel is a huge forrest. We stayed with our dog and can only recommend to do so.

A home away from home. We were absolutely pleased with the hospitality, cleanliness, and overall vibe of the place. Whenever we wrote to them, they would always get back to us in a few hours. We got there and we felt the warmth of the staff and their genuine friendliness. We decided on the last-minute to go for the Netflix package. Having worked previously at a hotel, I know how it can be a pain for guests to be changing their minds too often. But they went the extra mile to let us borrow a tablet, even though they didn't have to. We truly appreciate it. The room was lovely and cozy and clean. The food was delightful. Don't skip the pea soup from the brasserie! Everything about the place told us to relax. Even their music playlist was tastefully picked. And the volume just right. And with the forest around you the entire time, I couldn't ask for more.

No bad, but typically Dutch. Don't expect and irish breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable.

The location and rooms were awesome 👌 👏 👍 but the heater and hot water was not working in our 3 out of 4 rooms on our first day stay and it was little uncomfortable and it delayed our second days trip plan due to late alternative arrangements. Before giving the rooms to the guest they could have checked the room conditions to avoid such incidents.

This is the perfect place to escape the big city for a bit of peace and quiet. The rooms aren't "fancy" but they are incredibly comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner each night and the ability to rent e-bikes from them made for easy planning.

A perfect place for star tour in Netherlands. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Nice vibe in the lobby. Best for families and mature adults. Just ask for cleaning the rooms every day because they didn't do that when we stayed there, we had to ask for it.

Very nice Hotel with great staff. Always friendly and proffesional. We stayed in the bridal suite which was very nice. Liked the entire interrieur of the Hotel. Food was good as well. Surrounding is amazing if you like to take walks in nature.

The burger was very salty and not that great. Service was very good.
