Very lovely break and breakfast! Near the center of Amersfoort and near Amsterdam with the train. We really liked it, it's a old ship with many detail and a lovely host. She's really lovely and makes a great healthy breakfast!

Lovely B&B with a warm welcome and host by Elene. The breakfast is sublime with, so far, the best croissants tasted to day (sorry Paris). The boat has a lot of charm with lots of authentic elements. As an additional great plus the B&B is located on a short stroll from the beautiful city center of Amersfoort.

We were looking for a simple place to sleep in Amersfoort and this unique place was perfect. It was really close to everything and surprisingly, the bathroom was huge for Europe! There was no reception so you had to have internet to get the door code but the place was very clean!

Ein tolle Location ruhig gelegen trotzdem in ca 5 Minuten im Zentrum und eine nette Eigentümerin die ein leckeres Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten anbietet.

Sehr gute und liebevolle Unterkunft. Auch wenn die Zimmer sehr klein waren, so war alles vorhanden. Lage war auch perfekt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I spend a night on the skippers house on a business trip. I liked it a lot.

We have been staying in Vita Nova already twice 💙💙 I just love it 💘 The cabins have everything you need and are very nicely decorated! The roof window is so nice 🌝 Bed is perfect! Breakfast is delicious with local specialities, and you survive with the breakfast until late afternoon 😋 In the evening it’s so cosy to sit near to the fireplace 🔥 Location is very good, everything is near by. We will be back ⭐️ Elene, owner, is always smiling and helps you with everything!

My wife and I had a most enjoyable and memorable stay in this unusual hotel. Room was small but very cosy, very clean and comfortable. The double bed was so comfortable that we slept like a log. The skylight and window offered ample natural light and ventilation. Elene the host was most hospitable and made us a delicious and sumptuous breakfast. The location was also perfect for exploring this beautiful city. Our only regret was that our stay was too short because we were on our way to Jever in Germany. Looking forward to a longer stay on our next visit.

We spent 4 nights in the wonderful Vita Nova. The room had a comfortable bed and a lovely en suite shower room. I would recommend trying Elene's delicious breakfasts served with artisan breads and fresh yogurt with fruit and grains. The boat is located 10 minutes walk away from the bars and restaurants in the beautiful town of Amersfoort. Altogether a lovely few days.

Expect things to be a little tight, but "hey" you're living on a canal boat. Great that you can electronically open up a skylight to the open air. Common areas are very nice, if you want to buy drinks etc there, prices are reasonable. Nice that they have an area up on the bank of the canal too where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air

Lovely host, cosy room and epic breakfast.

It has been a pleasant experience for me discovering this lovely boat in Amersfoort, the room is small and cozy, all you need for any kind of trip, the breakfast is superb and the owners really nice and helpful, they even helped me rent a car. I am surely booking again on my next visit to Amersfoort.

Super nice experience that we had at this boat hotel.. it is very cozy, the woman that was in charge was really really kind and attentive.. the rooms are of course a little bit small but the bathroom are bigger that I expected.. I would definitely go again :)

I’ve had to cancel my trip, unfortunately, but the customer service, especially on WhatsApp, was truly excellent. Very fast and helpful feedback to my questions, I felt really well taken care of. What a pity I couldn’t go, I’ll definitely keep in mind for next time I’m in the region!

The location is really nice and lovely. Some parking lots are close to the accomodation. Elène is a wonderfull manager of the host. Breakfast is hand made with excellent delicious! Due to that the accomodation is a modified cargo ship, cabins are a little bit small and there is no air condition. But for people, who need more space, a honeymoon suite ist available. And looking through the rooftop window to the stars...... you'll feel alright.
