    It is a bit busier than in the woods. But it is very beautiful to walk around the fens. You arrive at the forest rangers location and there is plenty of parking space. From here there are several short and longer walking routes indicated. For a longer walk, say 10 km or more, you will have to plan a route yourself. In any case, start with a tour around the lakes because it is worth it.

    What a beautiful walk around the Leersumse Plassen. Due to the breeding period we were not allowed to go on all the trails, but hey who cares. It was amazing!

    Lovely place for a walk! You have the option for three different routes that start from the parking area. Sign are easy to spot and make navigating an piece of cake!

    One of the most beautiful nature in the Netherlands, and also quite mixed landscapes in the surroundings (forest, lake, heather)
