Our daughter recently celebrated her wedding here and we enjoyed it very much. Nice environment, great service and it was very easy to make arrangements in advance.

Quite funny to see such a trench from the inside. You have to love the museum. It's nice that the volunteers talk so enthusiastically, but sometimes a little too much.

Hoeven de Beek houses the Grebbelinie museum. A beautiful exhibition about the Grebbe Line and the combat actions in the Second World War. A part of the Grebbe Line has been restored nearby and can be visited for free. Definitely worth a visit.

The Grebbelinie Educational Center was especially worthwhile! Enthusiastic volunteers who take all the time to explain everything!

The museum gives a good impression of the defense works of the Grebben Line in the run-up to and during the Second World War. Even outside the museum, there is still a lot to see of the then defensive line. It was well worth a visit. A piece of Dutch history that has been depicted through a clear explanation through a film and an oral explanation by an expert volunteer (Herman van Zanten). Concluding with a thorough tour of the countryside. Containing the trenches with loopholes and casemates. Worth a recommendation...!

You can enjoy a drink here in a quiet environment, while further away you can visit a volunteer-run museum to see what it was like during the Second War, and trenches are also present. The entire tour takes a while along the way in a wonderfully quiet environment.

What a beautiful location to enjoy a cup of coffee and a cookie. In this corona time, don't expect any service and an expensive coffee machine. Just put a euro in the machine and you have a great cup of coffee or tea. Grab a cookie and sit on the picnic tables in the orchard. Good break moment!

Much to see, much to admire. With our hearts in the right place, we have also been told a lot. Good explanation about the bunkers and the landgraves. To this day they find a lot about the Second World War.

😐 A nice place to get some fresh air. It becomes especially quiet towards the peat lake and that is a plus as far as I am concerned.
