Super cozy and small hotel right in the heart of Amersfoort. The hotel rooms are rather small, but for its price they're still worth their value. The staff is very friendly and helpful and for the two nights we stayed, it was more than we could ask for. There is a shared shower and shared toilet, but neither were often occupied. The location is fantastic and there is plenty of sightseeing and things to do near the hotel, the train station is a 10 minute walk away and plenty of bus routes are 3 minutes away. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you plan on visiting and staying in Amersfoort!

Got everything I wanted from my brief stay. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable pricing. Would come again without any hesitation.

Mixed feeling. We went there for a burger based on the good reviews. Buns and ingredients of the burgers were good, but they use the « Dutch seasoned hamburger » instead of the plain ground beef. That changes all. Be aware if you are looking for the taste of an original burger. Fries are okay. Staffs very friendly. Decoration and atmosphere like an Irish pub.

Have been here for lunch only, everything was great, waiting time can be long, because of many tables! Was too noisy for me but cosy interior.

Toller Pub, Zimmer ist groß und sauber. Mitten in der City. Personal freundlich und nett. Essen super, auch das Frühstück sehr empfehlenswert. Fernseher nur mit App für die Übertragung via Handy benutzbar. Toiletten auf dem Flur. Bezahlbar und preiswert.

Service, Essen und Getränke sind wirklich Bombe. Selbst das Zimmer ist wirklich super. Nur die Preise sind echt ein wenig übertrieben, sowohl für Bier, Whisky oder Frühstück.😏 Das 14,50€ Frühstück ist dafür, allererste Sahne. Selten besser gefrühstückt.👍🏻 Der Standort ist phänomenal, direkt mit Terrasse am Kanal. Beleuchtete und beheizbare Schirme. Es macht einfach Laune sich hier aufzuhalten. Ich würde wieder kommen, das Parkhaus ist 150m entfernt, und leicht zu erreichen.

Suuuuper leckere vegetarische Burger für faire Preise. Personal war sehr nett und es war gemütlich, draußen zu sitzen 🙂 gute Auswahl an Bieren.

I'm sorry to have to say this but the bartenders working here do NOT know how to pour a Guinness properly. We just watched them serve a customer and they do it very wrong. I will be reporting them to Guinness in Dublin.

Guinness ordered as I always do. At €7 it’s a bit steep. Did explain to them how to pour properly the Irish way. Nice pub, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Worth a visit.

I went to Amersfoort for some work related trainings and seeing that this was a business trip, unfortunately we had a very limited time to explore the surroundings, however, one of the great advantages of this hotel was that it was exactly in the city center. You cannot be more in the city center than this :). First great impression was from the staff who were really friendly and helpful, always smiling and actually took the time to write "welcome" on my card key holder in my native language! I know it might not feel as much but it's the little things and that attention to details that I really appreciate. The room was cozy and the only things that was missing were a pair of slippers (I forgot to take my own) and the shower gel, but it wasn't a problem because I always bring mine along. To be honest, I think the cleaning staff just forgot to refill it and I could of just asked. Another great thing is that you are 5 min away walking distance from a good supermarket with reasonable prices (Coop) and of course other places like Starbucks, Taco Bell, McDonalds etc. For us it didn't matter because the hotel has a very nice and cozy pub with reasonable prices and good food, also a lot of vegetarian options if you're into that. Even though the pub gets a bit noisy, I hardly heard any noise in my room and was able to sleep very well. Thank you very much for your warm welcome and positive attitude, please never change because this is the main thing that makes this experience special! Hope I will come back soon, this time for a well deserved vacation!

Friendly hospitable hotel in Central Amersfoort Woken by bells the next morning, that lasted forever, but not the hotel's fault. We had the big attic room which was very spacious, if a bit basic

Great apartment, the experience couldn't have been better. When I first arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the manager, who showed me the place, handed me the keys and even recommended me some places to sight see. The apartment is spacious, very clean, well decorated, well-equipped and located in the best possible location of the city. It is right in the city center, in a lively but quiet square, and that means that everything you might need is conveniently within a 5 minute walk. Supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, bars, restaurants, shops...you name it. Being in the city center also has other perks when it comes to commuting to worksites or travelling as there are multiple public transportation options very nearby, including transportation to Amersfoort's Central Train Station, which if you feel like walking is only 15 mins away. Also, if you ever need to send big files or sometimes work from home, as was my case, you can do it very comfortably thanks to the fast speed internet, the quietness and the well light environment. The check-out was also very easy and flexible and the return of the deposit very quick. While I was checking-out, I was asked if I had any suggestions of improvement. This speaks volumes for their care and attention to detail but what's even more important for you is that I honestly could not think of any possible improvement. It is that good, I cannot recommend it enough.

Just returned from a five night stay here. Hands down the best place we have ever stayed! We traveled in a group of 9 using four rooms in this hotel. This included 4 kids, whom the staff was amazing with! Everyone made us feel so welcomed and apart of the 'family'. A special Thanks to Fritz - one of the greeters in this hotel..when you go ask if he's around. The rooms here are clean and simple. We had the two rooms on the top floor but only really used them for sleeping in as we really enjoyed the small pub below, gardens outback and the seating area out front. You are also overlooking a sqaure that has various places to eat and everything you will need is located within walking distance to this hotel. The staff are all very knowledgeable about the area and where things are located. Don't miss out on this great little find! We will be back for sure!

Was here off season and enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff. Right above a pub that stays open until 1am, and at a cozy square filled with other terraces, pubs and restaurants. So I can imagine it would be too busy for me during high season. But again, really enjoyed my stay. Would call this a high end hostel though instead of an hotel.

Staff was very nice. The room was well insulated from the sound of the bar. Bedroom had a shower in room, but the toilet was shared with the floor. Less than 50m from the tower, easy to find. Breakfast also came with a free welcome drink at the bar. Not handicap accessible -- no elevator and all rooms are upstairs.

Great location, had a great time with good food and drinks. Good service too!

Waiters were kind and fast. Lunch was good. Nice setting inside and on the terrace outside. I highly recommend to try this out.
