We did the barrier-free trail, which we chose to be able to take our stroller along our hike. It turned out to be a good choice. The gates can be opened with the help of rope, so that the park or the trail can be accessed by wheelchair users themselves. The ground is prepared with gravel. The tour takes you through a lonely landscape where cows are roaming freely. I recommend this tour "nature without barriers". You don't need to bring a map because the trails are well signed.

This forest and the ones surrounding are a great visit. These are among the eldest of forests you can find in the Netherlands. Great for a visit with kids and family, great to just explore and wander around by yourself or find a nice quiet spot with your loved one and get a bit romantic. If you take your time and are a bit quite there are so many animals and birds to be seen. If you are lucky you might even see the herd of wild cows with log dreadlocked hairs, standing easily in the Meadows. So go hiking and cover great distances, take it easy and do just a couple of miles or bring your pickinick baskets and spend a lovely day in these great old Dutch outdoors.

Nice varied walking route around the lake along heathland, sand drifts and forest. During breeding season, parts of the walking route are closed off. The route then takes you on paths that are also used by cyclists.

Nice area of outstanding beauty for taking walks across the heath, through the forest, or if you want to go a bit further, the Amerongse Hills. Well-maintained paths or you can choose the sandy trails/plains. There are also wheelchair-accessible paths.
