Very good hotel no remarks

The B& B is a great location the room was spacious for Dutch standards. The outdoor patio was a bonus on sunny days. The owners were very nice and the complementary drinks in room (coke, water, wine and beer- for free that were refilled) were excellent. The mini fridge I a nice touch and there was even a bathtub.

The owners are great people, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very beautiful and you can see how they put a lot of effort in it. You can feel like home with the cozy hall with all comforts. The centre is just outside the front door! Strongly recommended!

Stayed here from May 9 to May 23rd, 2018. WONDERFUL experience. Room was clean, bright, and just right for me. Owners were friendly, I felt like I was one of the family. Highly recommend this place if one is staying within the Veenendaal area. Plan on staying there again when I go next spring. Just fantastic!

Near city center. Private parking. Friendly staff. Excellent room, comfortabel large bed, large bathroom. Minibar included.

Wonderful

We had a very nice two night stay at the City Hotel Koningsvlinder in early August 2023. The location could not be better. The hotel is located right at the edge of the central downtown district. It is very convenient to many restaurants and shops, including a large Albert Hein. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable with a large bed and a large, separate bathroom. Even though the hotel is in the middle of the city, our room was very quiet. We slept well. We did not have the optional breakfast, but others did and it looked delicious. We enjoyed having a mini frig in the room. The hosts, Helma and Hans, were fantastic. They purchased Museum Cards for us and had them waiting when we arrived. That was very helpful as it is not possible to pre-order the cards without a Dutch debit card. Also, Hans allowed us to park our tandem bike in the locked garage which allowed us to enjoy our visit without having to worry about the bike.
