Wij hebben dj big blender gevraagd voor onze bruiloft, alles was prima verzorgt vanaf het eerste kennis makingsgesprek (waarin ook de wensen voor een muziekcompilatie voor de openingsdans zijn besproken) mail wisselingen en een telefoontje enkele dagen voor de trouwdatum. Ook heeft almar vooraf contact gehad met de feest locatie over het opzetten van de dj booth , die er overigens erg mooi uit zag. Wij en onze gasten hebben een hele fijne feestavond gehad waarbij de muziek een grote rol speelde, de dansvloer was rijkelijk gevuld en eigenlijk ging de tijd te snel! De gasten hebben zich in het zweet gedanst op zeer gevarieerde muziek. De stemming zat er vanaf het moment van de openingsdans meteen in. Het zoeken naar een goede en bij ons passende DJ was voor ons van groot belang. Wij vonden het belangrijk dat er veelzijdig gedraaid werd en vooral dat de DJ goed aanvoelde wat het beste zou werken, daarbij oog hebbend voor onze 'smaak' en stijl. Het contact wat wij vooraf met Almar (=DJ Blender) hadden, was uiterst prettig en professioneel. Hij maakte aantekeningen over wat voor ons belangrijk was en vroeg bv ook of er nummers waren die per se niet of per se wel gedraaid moesten worden. Twee dagen voor het feest belde hij ons nog op om te vragen of er nog iets was waar hij rekening mee moest houden. De apparatuur waar hij mee werkt is erg goed, sterk en mooi geluid en het licht is prima (niet overdreven of hinderlijk, maar juist passend voor het dansfeest). Verder is het heel slim en praktisch dat hij dit technische deel uitbesteedt aan professionals, zodat hij zich helemaal kan richten op waar hij goed in is: DJ-en en daarmee een knalfeest neerzetten! Ondanks het feit dat de DJ show ook niet doorging heb ik de communicatie vooraf als zeer plezierig ervaren waarbij ikzelf de wensen qua muziek voor een groot deel mede heb mogen bepalen. Het is erg plezierig om met Almar samen te werken en hij probeert door de juiste vragen te stellen de muziekstijl te bepalen, je kunt heel veel kanten met hem op. We had a pleasant conversation in which we were able to express our wishes and discuss what a perfect party evening would look like for us. He transformed the location in no time into a beautiful party location with an illuminated floor (recommended!) where there was more than enough space to dance, and his DJ booth is the max! Our music tastes vary quite a bit (she: 60s; him: 00s; kids: everything after 00s, common denominator: 70s, 80s, 90s...), but that didn't matter to DJ Big Blender: it was a fantastic mix of all these styles, with an eye and time for surprises by our guests, for a flash mob and for our rock 'n roll dancers.
