Great place for some (local!!) beers and bites. Nothing fancy (in a good way!), just a great pub for a late afternoon / early evening drink (and very affordable, almost all tap beers are server for little less than €4). Love the atmosphere and people here. Nice detail: there’s a basket with boiled eggs and salt at the bar. You should definitely give them a try, apparently it’s a good combination with beer (o, they’re for free). In for more snacks? Go for ‘bitterballen’!

Toon the owner is such a wonderful guy we ended up having a chat into the night (back when) about the history of the brewery and his colourful past. The 'brewery' itself is of course 400 years old (this location they moved recently) and has so much history to it. It is the 3rd oldest brewer in the Netherlands! Don't forget to ask questions about your beer. It's a special throughline you don't want to miss if you're in Amersfoort!

Great little craft brewery in Amersfoort. The dubbel was particularly good. The bitterballen were also very tasty. The staff were friendly and accomodating. On the northern edge of the old city, it is a nice place for a break on your way too or from the train station.

This local brewery is situated near the historical 'Koppelpoort'. A brewery with a rich history, dating back to the 1600's. The original facade-stone of the original brewery is used in the current brewery after restarting in 1989. They offer a cozy atmosphere and a wide range of beers. Tip: order the tasting to get an idea of what they have to offer

Super cool place! I loved the dubbel beer and the local cheese and charcuterie selection! Also, it's a nice place to learn more about beer and the local breweries.

Delicious locally brewed beer in a beautiful building on a nice canal. We had a tasting plate of 3 beers and a snack for €8.75.

Great beers, you get the chance to know the history of it. The one hour intiated tour was educational. You also get to try 3 different beers, white beer was the best for me. This is also not a bad place to visit for a non beer drinker like me. I still had a good time. staff were very accomodating and the staff were great and fast service. kudos!

Nice authentic spot. The beer was tasty, I tried three different ones, everyone was special. Bitterballen are not to miss as well. All in all a great place to visit in Amersfoort to feel the vibe of the city.
