FRAUD ALERT. Attention GRC attendees and others, don’t do business with this hotel. I canceled according to their policies and conferred with the third party and confirmed. I had to cancel because my flight was canceled. I am sure they will argue I didn’t. I could add proof, but refuse to refund though it was consistent with their policies and the third party agreed. I am a Ph.D. professional and all they provided was incoherent babble that is inconsistent with dates etc. They blame the third part and the third party blames them. All around, go to the Hilton at Riverwalk or anywhere else. The cost isn’t different. Plus after canceling, I received an email regarding a massive Covid outbreak at the hotel. They emailed a warning the day before scheduled check in and a day after a canceled. Sleep in your car first. I guarantee the reviews here are mostly fake. How do I know? Shady policies lead to shady reviews run my shady people. My company views their actions as fraud, and they plan to work with the purchasing card company to pursue it. I recorded the phone conversations to show the inconsistencies. In my state, that is perfectly legal. I checked beforehand. He inconsistencies between the two support fraud as I discussed with all related parties today.

Not well maintained. Dirty chair in the room. Peeled paint on bathroom door frame and off toilet flush handle. Very very noisy, could not rest. Window curtains let street light into the room making it difficult to sleep. Some attendant were very rude. Will not recommend.

My husband booked this room despite my protests. It is a motel 6 but rebranded. Terrible unprofessional service. They charged us a different amount than originally stated and my credit card company agreed we would win. Nasty dirty rooms. Just avoid. Sleep in a park over this. At last you will not be secretly charged by the manager in a sneaky way.

Clean pet friendly rooms. Good breakfast. staff was nice too. Each time I come here because of work they are very friendly.. the rooms are always very clean! Great quiet place. Good parking and the breakfast is nice as well.. affordable as well! Very updated nice tvs.. bathrooms are cleanjust like home away from home! Thx for the staff at doing a great job!

I'm not sure how other people prefer their beds, but the bed at sure stay was way too firm for me. The nighttime workers were very helpful. They helped me get my bags into the room as I am severely disabled. In which I walk with a cane and only have one functioning hand. The next morning, the cleaning lady was helpful by assisting me with my bags putting them on the cart, but we couldn't understand each other due to the language barrier, but we got along just fine otherwise. The woman who was working the desk the next morning was not helpful at all until the last 2 minutes I was there, where I couldn't push the cart out the main entrance door. Even as I was trying to get the cart through the doorway into the lobby, she kept saying, "You're doing it wrong, you're doing it wrong," instead of helping me push the cart at all. As for the Continental Breakfast, I didn't bother going. It was very basic. Everything was crowded on one long counter, with cereal dispensers offering Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes, a little waffle maker, flavored water dispenser, and coffee with no creamers. I was surprised at all of this as the building still has the grand opening sign still out front. If that was the actual grand opening, I would have been very disappointed. Lol

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. The rooms stink of cigarettes, when I complained to the manager he said it's impossible as the hotel has a no smoking policy. My colleagues room also stunk. Manager offered to swap our rooms but the other room smelled exactly the same. Manager tried telling us it's the smell of the cleaning product. I asked the cleaner if the room smelled of cigarettes and he agreed. The rooms are not soundproof, you can have a conversation with your neighbour through the wall without even shouting. The hotel is noisy with workers in and out all the time. Breakfast is appalling. On one occasion the manager just entered my room whilst I was in it without knocking and proceeded to have a look around without saying anything. When I challenged him he said he thought I messaged him to say I had an emergency in the bathroom. I told him this is unacceptable and he just walked out without apologising. The hotel itself seems like a halfway house for recently released prisoners. On more than one occasion the police would pull into the car park and check out the back of the hotel. This hotel gave me a severe uneasy feeling and I couldn't wait to leave. The WiFi was good though. I'm editing this review after reading the response by the owner. My behaviour at the front desk? I wasn't rude or angry. I simply explained my problem with the room. You did not offer a refund. That's a lie. If you had offered a refund you can rest assured I would have taken it as the room stunk like an ashtray. As for your excuse that the room smelled of cleaning products... that's another lie as I asked the cleaner if I could smell what he uses to clean the room and he let me smell it. It was nothing like the same smell. My review is an honest review of your sub-standard hotel. Honesty is something you should work on as well as getting your hotel into shape.

Someone else said that this is a loud hotel, and they aren't kidding. There are always people in the halls talking loudly, usually the staff. One staff member walked right into our room while we were in it. They pound on your door no matter how many times you tell them "no housekeeping". Waking us up at like 8am when we worked until 4am. Commercial customers, go somewhere else - they also don't take clc.

The owners were exceptionally great, the check in was super fast and easy. They asked me and made sure I had everything I needed,the room I wanted and any extras that could help my stay. No other hotels ask and offer that. This place was clean, new and I will return next month for another event .

Loud hallways late at night. Great checkin experience. Room was fairly clean, nice renovation. Positive review ends with that. Room not as advertised. Small. No closet/wardrobe. No drawers. But worst of all: room as formerly a connecting room. Since renovation, furniture was placed in front of connecting door. However, when some one was in adjacent room, you could hear EVERYTHING, see light around entire door, and smell everything in the other room. Pretty obviously only 1 door between rooms. Average volume music Kept us awake 2 nights in a row. Even called front desk and heard them come and talk to the room. Nothing changed. Room should not be rented.

This is an old motel 6 , and has definitely Been remodeled and new owners. Their rooms are nice, hardwood floors, so no carpet full of bacteria. And rooms are super clean, the bathrooms were nice and big, showers were nice. Huge TV's and lots of channels. Free continental Breakfast. Would ABSOLUTE Stay here again, and recommend it.

Dated furnishings and unexpected charges for my small dog. Comon Best Western, $32.62 a night pet fee? Post these charges up front, not at check-in when this place was booked as “pet friendly”.

I flew into Maine to visit my husband who is at the shipyard there with the U.S Navy. The day we arrived we checked in and went to get some essentials from Target, where we were told to evacuate. The entire city was on lockdown due to the mass shooting that occurred less than five minutes from this hotel. Despite never even going into a room, hence why we had all of our belongings, we were still charged and only refunded a portion of what we paid. $300 they’re still refusing to give back. We had to drive an hour away and pay $800 elsewhere due to the shooting. This hotel was on lockdown till the gunman was found and is not understanding of the situation. As a military family with many children, the trip was already expensive and we ended up paying for two hotels one of which we never got the chance to stay at. I wouldn’t do business with people who are unkind and money driven to the point they won’t refund us for nights we never got to stay due to the mass shooting next door. We are actively trying to resolve the problem with the property manager who is unwilling to give back, and our bank.

This was a delightful experience, they have come a far ways from being the old Motel 6. The people whom worked here are more then kind and accommodating for all your needs. The breakfast is a plus, and yummy. There are friendly dogs that come here to sta with their owners and that generally is a NO-GO for me but they upkeep the grounds and any odors that may accompany the dogs so you wouldn't even know there is an animal in the hotel. It's more the just new paint and furniture, I believe by keeping the price a little more expensive then the old 6 it is helping to deter the riff raff of the surrounding towns. I enjoyed chatting with the staff and will most certainly be booking here again! Thank you to all the employees keep up the awesome work!!!

My girlfriend and spent the night here it's not a bad place to stay clean room pretty good service. The night clerk even asked if we wanted 1st or 2nd floor because there is no elev

Nervous when we turned into parking lot, but staff was friendly and room was clean and comfy. Close to I-95 so bonus. Also, with Canadian dollar so low, price helped with our decision. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner.
