Dr. Shapiro ordered me an allergy test when I had no allergic problems, bill came out to be way more than expected. Make sure to ask for what you're receiving before going to this guy! Many other good ENT's out there

As a business owner, community volunteer and former Commissioner for an SSA in Chicago I had put off addressing my difficulty breathing and seemingly constant head pressure - as if a massive hand was spread over the top of my head squeezing it just enough to be bothersome - for years before finally meeting with Dr. Shapiro. Not only did I have sinus issues that needed repaired, but my left septum was severe enough that it too was obstructing my air flow, I have an enlarged uvula that needs repaired and on top of those there were growths that needed worked on as well further back past the septum. I went in for surgery and within 2 weeks after I was able to take a deep breath in and out of my nose and actually breath without issue and my head no longer feels constantly under pressure - for the first time in as long as I can recall! If you even remotely think you may have an issue that needs Dr Shapiro professional review, contact the office asap! Dr Shapiro and his team are professional, compassionate and dedicated to helping people get healthy! I can not thank Dr Shapiro and his team enough for all that they did to investigate and repair the issues impacting me.

I really liked the office when I first started my appointments. However, that changed as I noticed that I attended multiple visits and was told slightly different things each time. First he mentioned Latera saying it was minimally invasive and then finally after 5 or 6 visits, a septoplasty was scheduled to fix my deviated septum. At my 3 month follow up, I told the doctor’s NP that I was still having breathing issues but all she told me was that I should be breathing better and to use Flonase as necessary. I tried to explain I don’t want to use it everyday but I felt written off. I ended up having to see another ENT who told me I have nasal valve collapse. I could have saved time, money, and pain if he would have actually done the Latera procedure instead.

Dr M. Shapiro helped me a lot four years ago. I regret, that I did not know Dr. Shapiro earlier. I reccomended him to my friends and relatives and he always was able to help and give the right diagnosis to everyone! And now, when I needed a medical advice- and like always, he gave the best solution. Friendly and helpful staff.

Dr. Shapiro and his team are truly perfectionists! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt at ease. Very professional and insanely clean office. Highly recommend. Had a chemical peel with Deanna, she was informative and gentle. So relaxing! The peel was gentle enough to tolerate but strong enough to peel away all my old skin to find beautiful, supple skin underneath. Who knew I had that hiding under all the wear and tear of everyday stress?! Parking right in front and no wait time when I come in. Greeted right away and offered a beverage. They just recently renovated their spa and I must say, they did a phenomenal job, will definitely return.

I have been under Dr Shapiro's care since Feb 2020. A friend of mine had recommended him to me after he had resolved a medical issue she had suffered with for 5 yrs that previous doctors failed to fix. I initially presented with several inter-related medical issues which he promptly diagnosed. Recently, I had very successful Septoplasty surgery to repair a severely deviated septum and bone spurs that blocked my breathing in my right nasal passage. Dr Shapiro performed the surgery under local anesthetic, which I was initially somewhat apprehensive about, but it went very well and I had a great recovery. I find him and his staff to be very personable, with a good sense of humor, genuinely interested and highly skilled in helping solve my medical issues. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Dr Shapiro and his practice to others seeking expert ENT and/or aesthetic services.

Dr. Shapiro is a great doctor, and a very good person as well. He saw my son on a very short notice, and was able to help us take care of him. He was excellent with keeping my son calm, and did an awesome job of explaining things, and made recommendations. He didn't get annoyed when I was asking him tons of questions, and was super patient. His front office is excellent as well. Thank you Dr. Shapiro for taking care of my son. He is doing much better!!!

Dr. Shapiro is an amazing person. Very easy going, compassionate, and straightforward. I did my surgery take care of my sinusitis and couple of other issues on the 29th of May of this year. I remember him standing by me the whole time when I entered the surgery room, told me not to worry, and assured me that he will take care of me. I woke up from the surgery with no pain but little drowsy from the anesthesia. Today is day number 5 and I still have not suffered any sort of pain, and anxious for my follow up visit tomorrow.
