Good food but customer service probably needs to improve. I've been to this place several times before but only to order food to go. Today is the first time we ate at the restaurant. There's five of us and the total bill was reasonable. Food was good in general but I was told the pork chop was hard. I always order the Kalbi beef and it's always good. Pho as expected was good. Fruit smoothies come in different flavors. I've tried several flavors and I could say the taro, avocado and mango are good but their green tea and strawberry flavors could be better or maybe it depends on who's preparing. In general, I would still recommend the restaurant and there's no long wait time on a Saturday night compared to the other three restaurants we checked before coming to Pho House.

First time trying this place and as a pho enthusiast…I was pretty underwhelmed. The starter platter (pictured) was served fresh and at a good price. Standard shrimp spring rolls were satisfying along with the egg rolls. The fried shrimp rolls and chicken skewers were overly greasy and their flavors were overwhelmed by the oil. The pho was ok. I wish they put in more meat as for I only got a few bites of meat that wasn’t necessarily the freshest. It was loaded with a satisfactory amount noodles and we were served ample amounts of veggies to put in. The service was subpar. We were told to sit wherever we wanted and were served only twice - water and food. No refills or check ins. Had to ask for our check. Going to try the other place in town because this one just didn’t do it for me.

Pho dac biet (pho special with everything) and bun bo hue (spicey beef noodle soup) are the best!!! Loaded with meats, rich collagen broth, reasonably priced and a cut above all the other Vietnamese restaurants in my opinion.

Ordered a rare steak and Bun Bo Hue pho to go and its pretty underwhelming. The Bun bo hue broth was decent but there's no pork hock included and no pork blood. It had few pieces of thinly sliced beef and its a bit rubbery. All other stuff included (sprouts, basil) were looking fresh which is good. For the price ($30 for 2 pho), I was expecting to get more from it.

Pho... nominal food. Great tasting, clean broth. Service is good. Good portions of meat with the pho. My favorite by far. If this is new to you, try the brisket pho. Tender flavorful meat.

This place has amazing Pho. Nice staff and well worth a try. We are repeat customers. They make takeout a breeze. They are cash only, which I'm fine with. Less money in the pockets of credit card companies and more into locally owned businesses.

I don’t often leave reviews, but this place is great!! Fried rice with beef and pork was delicious. Staff was super friendly and they even played great music. Super clean and great decor too. Any lunch where I can listen to Cheap Trick and the Foos is a good lunch haha.

The Pho is delicious, and their pork chops were very tasty. They do not accept credit or debit cards, which I feel is a bit inconvenient to the customer dining experience. But the food is very delicious.

We've been going here since it was Pho House, and honestly, it's only gotten better. (Apart from the name. Viet Taste? 😐) Okay, not to be a jerk about the new name, but the food is terrific. I think they have the best pho in the north of Chicago. The broth is excellent and the ingredients always taste fresh and flavorful. My kid loves their super wide boba selection and after my wife got the taro and avocado boba, I'm hooked, too. Absolutely delicious! The waitstaff are very attentive and there to make sure you have what you need. Frankly, I'm glad that they pared their menu down from the Pho House days. There were just too many choices. Now it's mostly bahn mi, noodle salads, and pho. Appetizers, too, but DEFINITELY go for the pho! Be sure to bring cash as they don't take cards, anymore, for some reason, although they do have a no fee ATM, there, if you forget.

Great place for a quick sit down meal. The Pho is excellent albeit the quantity is less over the past few months. Starting 11/15, they will no longer take credit card.

Probably the second best pho place I've been to. Second because the other place had perfect pho. If bringing guests... This would definitely my first pick for Vietnamese food. The ambience is nice, everything is perfect. Ordered chicken and beef pho, and they have coca cola.

If your looking for that special comfort food than this is the place. Love the broth for the pho and it’s a nice healthy portion especially for the price. I’ve also tried the vermicelli which is average. But their ba me sandwich is also good. Can never go wrong with the spring rolls either. They have great service with an extremely friendly staff. The restaurant is large so you will never feel cramped. This is a must go if you like pho!

Pho House is like an old dog...tired, only moves when you kick it, maybe some nice memories from the past, but too tired to try any more. Decor was glum, cheap. Service was bad. Water was spilled at the table and the waitress didn't even offer to help clean. Handed us the towel. Food was low grade.

So insanely grateful that this exists. Chicken = amazing (both skewers and the regular kind that goes on buns/bahn mi) Portions/$ = insane. But the service is what stands out. They don’t come to your table often, which can be a little awkward in such a big space, but you can make the dish yours ABSOLUTELY however you want. Never any judgement, condescension or anything. “Have it your way taken” to the highest level. Couple tips - - Nuoc Cham REALLY sweet, so use judiciously and ask for extra limes. Wish I had the around when I was growing up nearby. Enjoy!

We're fortunate to have this restaurant in our area. We found photos of the menu on Google and used the number listed next to each item to order it since we were calling in our order. When we picked it up and got it home the food was still very hot in the containers. Huge portions. We have not had Vietnamese food before and it was delicious. Lots of colorful veggies and tasty proteins. Can't wait to keep trying new things here. Staff was friendly. Good sized dining room. Store is tucked into a strip mall.
