Lovely experience on every visit. My all time favorite was lobster mac n cheese but the tiger shrimp fettuccine stole my heart away. The dish was one of the best I ever tasted! My friend's all time favorite is her steak. After so many visits and trying most of the dishes, I must say that none of them ever disappointed me! Their house made mini deserts are also a treat at the end of a fantastic dinner! Must visit!

This place is an absolute gem. We’ve driven by it so many times on the highway over the years and always wanted to try it out and so glad we finally did. Awesome location right on the lake with a perfect sized patio as well with an amazing view for those nice weather days. The inside is well laid out, spacious with a nice atmosphere with many large windows providing ample natural light and great views of the lake and outdoors as well. The service was super friendly and attentive from start to end. The food was really really good too as we caught the lunch menu that had plenty to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed all meals but it seems the Mussels were the star of the show today along with the Canadian Burger and Short-rib Sandwich. The Calamari and Bread were really nice as well and the Bolognese Pasta was ok too but not as good as the others. We had a great first experience here hence the 5 star rating and would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try one day as I’m pretty sure they always get it right here. We can’t wait to return again someday and hopefully try their Dinner Menu out as well. Kudos to everyone there for doing an awesome job 👏🏼

Beautiful location, parking was not too difficult even though the restaurant was full. Great ambience for a celebration meal. Reservations are required for dine in however patio is first come first served and can be up to an hr wait. While waiting you are free to enjoy the water front view and take pictures. Good wine selection, as well as cocktails and beers. The menu was very diverse with options for vegetarian and gluten free variations. The food was delicious I got the shrimp and lobster mac and cheese, very decadent. A selection of free mini desserts was offered at the end, perfect amount IMO after a very filling main course. Overall great experience.

What a great restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was great. Our server Amy was amazing, very nice and patient. She explained everything and answered all questions we had. She gave great recommendations about the food as well. If I could give her 100 out of 10 I totally would. I had a tomato soup (8/10), fish tacos (8/10) with sweet potato fries (10/10), and for dessert I shared a key lime pie (9/10) and a cream brulee (10/10). I am going to come back when the weather is warm to try out the patio.

Great food and most importantly great service. To ensure best possible experience the supervisor also checked on you. The lake view is fantastic if you get lucky to sit on the patio. Fresh P.E.I Mussels were tasty. The beef short rib was juicy and tender. The lobster Mac had large amount of seafood and cheesy. I already want to go back. Thank you for a great experience.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We came for a family birthday, which I selected as the occasion when making the reservation. They had a beautiful table for us with a lake view, and even put some birthday confetti on the table! I have never had another restaurant do this. The drinks were great - spicy mango-rita is prefect for summer, and the Fielding chardonnay was incredible. All of our meals were delicious and cooked to perfection. Shrimp were huge and cleaned perfectly, steak was high quality and flavourful. Staff were friendly, quick, and personable. Overall, it is a higher-priced restaurant, but it is 100% worth the price.

Fabulous place with a beautiful setting. It was the perfect weather day when I was there on July 25th. There is a beautiful little marina below and it all felt very cozy. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. I had the calamari, cooked perfectly - as well as a very tasty salad with baked apples, pecans and goat cheese with a balsamic reduction. It was a beautiful way to end a nice time in Niagara. Thank you, Lake House, for a wonderful experience. We will be back.

We came on a whim after seeing it plenty of times driving by. The food was all pretty good. Service was as usual up here, so pretty good. They were very patient with us as we arrived in two different parties. And then ordered everything all at once. The food all came out together and we were able to share it so it was great that way. We were unfortunately inside, so the atmosphere could have been better for a restaurant on the lake. Overall I'd recommend going there once sometime, and try to get a seat outside or near a window.

Do not be discouraged if you get to this place and you see a lot of people dressed up, beautifully.. they are still very much accommodating if you are casual and I think this place is worth to stop because the view of Lake Ontario is breathtaking but the food service and quality is 10 out of 10 and exemplary. I would however encourage you to put on your "Sunday best" and take your loved one or even just treat yourself to a nice day out this is definitely a spot to feel special and again the service and the food and atmosphere is definitely going to do that for you. Food presentation is beautiful and the taste quality portions is more than you can ask for especially in today's economy where everybody seems to be cutting corners on taste and quality. I love that they do local sourced ingredients where they can they have a lot of variety so even your pickiest eaters should be able to find something they love but they also have food if you have a distinguished palette. My only regret for this place was not trying the beet salad that I saw come out a few times for other people that ordered it. WILL definitely be back to try it because it looked amazing. Definitely try the dessert sampler the skor cheesecake is delicious delicious delicious. I can't say enough about the food but the view itself is worth the trip to this place you can get stunning photos just a little behind the property by the waterfront or even from the outdoor dining area.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I must say that the view felt like once in a lifetime, it was absolutely spectacular and breathtaking (especially since we went in the evening)!!! The food was incredible and I definitely recommend the PEI muscles, seafood paella, and tomato basil soup. Desert was also fantastic. Will definitely be coming back again!

We went to Lake House yesterday and enjoyed it immensely. I’ve been here a few times before but never reviewed it. The restaurant is busy so make sure you book a reservation. Even if you do book a reservation expect to wait about 5 to 10 mins on a Friday or Saturday night. Patio is first come first served. The restaurant is clean mostly throughout. Staff are polite and attentive. Your waitresses are attentive (there are no male waiters or hosts which was odd) and polite. The Supervisor does come around and ask you how your meal/service is to each table. The washrooms (male) could have been in better condition. Parking is free but is gravel. It can be tough if you have females who are wearing high heels. The food is very good. The steak was well seasoned but the sauce was salty. The pasta was good as was the bread basket and Caesar salad. The starters are on the smaller end so if you are sharing just order two between 2 people. Many of the dishes can be made gluten free. They have vegan options as well. Check the menu online as they do change things up. The wine menu is spectacular and it’s best to just buy the bottle and take it home. You can bring young children but it’s better not to as it’s catered more to adults. This isn’t Turtle Jacks. I’d wait until they are at least 13 or so and can enjoy a good adult meal. It’s really up to you as it’s dependent on your occasion. The view is spectacular and the patio (it was raining) would be beautiful. Overall i’d give this place a 4.5 out of 5. There are somethings that just need to be improved as it’s fine dining.

This restaurant is one of the best lake-side restaurants I have been to in Ontario till date. The view is simply breathtaking. To book outdoor seating, which offers the best view of the lake, you need to book in advance or be willing to wait. The food quality is good. Service is great. Its a little expensive so do check your budget before visiting. The indoor area is spacious and tastefully designed. Overall, a great place for special occasions!

Went here for our 10 year anniversary. Ambience was great, the service and staff were wonderful. The Brie appetizer, excellent. My wife’s lobster Mac and cheese, lovely. I was really really looking forward to the Braised Beef short rib. Looked and smelled amazing however it was extremely dry. I ended up not being able to finish it. I have a suspicion that because it was at the end of day the beef dried out, however that’s when I expect staff to chime in with their expertise and suggest something else on the menu. Will give this dish a shot again for lunch time and see how it goes. But for that $$, I do expect better and probably not to be served at an establishment such as this. However I do suggest people do visit and enjoy the food, ambience and service.

It's my first time to dine at this restaurant. The view is great and the Sunday brunch menu is good with variety. I personally like the mussels, pasta and the fish taco. We get the $79.99 gift card from the nearby Costco for $100 value at the restaurant. This is an amazing deal. The service is great and efficient. Highly recommended.

The brown butter cod was amazing! My husband had the braised beef short ribs which he loved. It was tender and the reduction was spot on. The salmon cakes as an appetizer is a great start! The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Came for a friend’s birthday. Food was tasted very good and I was quite surprised with their big portion sizes. The sourdough was grilled to perfection and covered with abundant of smoked salmon and guacamole. The view outside is also nice, can see Toronto and Mississauga from the other side of the lake. Will definitely comeback again to try other dishes.

Server was super attentive with great suggestions. Food was incredible and view was exactly what you would expect. They gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary as well so that was an additional nice touch. The paella is giant and can definitely feed 3-4 rather than just 2.

My husband and I went there for our wedding anniversary and it was beautiful. Food was delicious. We ordered the burrata board, striploin steak and the boneless short ribs. Dessert was complimentary since we were celebrating our anniversary which was really nice of them. Service was amazing and quick. We were seated inside with a nice view overlooking the lake. Hubby and I will definitively come back.

I was impressed from my reservations to the minute we left the restaurant the day of. We were a large group and our server Sam and the Supervisor Natalija were all hands on and stayed that way throughout our meal. The food was exceptional. My husband and I had the paella which was the best we have ever had. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of spice. Kids had the steak and the bolognese pasta. Both were delicious. Skor in house pastry, crème brûlée and the pecan tart were our desserts of choice and we were not disappointed! Needless to say you had to role us out of there. We will definitely be back for the great service and mouth watering food. Our whole party enjoyed their meals. Quick notes from their experience: portion sizes were large and fulfilling, food was exceptional and dessert was “ to die for”. We will all be back to try something different. Thank you!

Past by this location many times, parking always full. We arrived at 11:15 there was a lineup. Got seated quickly at the outside patio when it opened at 11:30. Social distancing and face mask use are in place. A tent has been added to provide more outdoor seating. It got filled up quickly. We ordered the fish taco and chicken panini for lunch. Order didn't take long to come. Chicken was tender and tasty. Sweet potato fries and french fried were very good. Crispy and hot. Lake Erie trout in the tacos were done just right. Light and crisp. Amie kept our coffees topped up. Good service good food. We'll be back.

Great food, portions were generous. The pineapple mango chutney on the eggs Benny was fantastic. Sunday Brunch was busy so the waitress forgot about our drinks and mixed up the desserts. The birthday sparkles for our friend's birthday was a nice touch.

The Lake House Restaurant was the perfect location for a delicious dinner for a special night out. The prices are on the higher end but the food presentation and atmosphere was worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with a nice selection to pick from on the menu. Would go back for lunch to be able to sit on the patio.

Haven't been there since Covid and of course it was different..but still good . We were there for my birthday and what the best part was one of people sent flowers to the table then the cake 🍰 and a card we finally found out who it was... to the table . Then to top it off we had a gift card and then the rest of the bill was paid for ...we were shocked and I felt special and the waiter spaced it out beautifully and was good to us..he also was tipped well . Rate excellent 10

Incredible atmosphere, follows all covid safety protocols, has an individual hand sanitizer at each table which was great. Food outstanding, my absolute favorite place to eat. Got the mussels and gluten free pizza. By far the best GF pizza I've ever had! And mussels are always a hit from here. The mini cheesecake desserts at the end are so good but you can't have just one lol. Thank you for another amazing meal Lakehouse!

This is s beautiful restaurant the staff and the food is always great. My issues with this place are, there is only 2 vegan options a hummus and falafel plater and risotto witch is not the best to be honest. Also why is there no lighting in the back for evening dinning to enjoy the veiw that makes The Lake House The Lakehouse. I finally got a nice seat inside and it was pitch black out the window. I do recommend this restaurant and i truly would bring more business clients friends and family if the menu was more vegan friendly. ( even just a nice pasta option would be nice) To the owner thank you for your reply i can assure you i asked what my options where. I was told the hummus plater and the risotto where my only options. I suggest letting your server's know that your guest have other options would be helpful.

My husband I came here the day after our wedding and we've been coming here every year for our anniversary ever since. Food is always great and the service is just as great. Tonight both the food and the service were exceptional! We had Ali as our server and she was awesome! My go to is the shrimp and lobster mac and cheese and my husband likes the lamb. We also both love sitting on the patio. The view is worth the wait!

Celebrated Father’s Day with the family here. Got a lovely seat by the window with a view of the water. Brunch was lovely and service was great. Will be back for dinner!

Crab cake: portion is surprisingly small, the cake tastes a bit fishy, but the sauce has made it a lot better Tiger Shrimp Fettuccine: tasted as expected, creamy and delicious, though the sun dried tomorrow was very salty. Chicken Supreme: chicken was good, overall but dry. Also not sure why part of carrots was dark/ black, was it because it has gone bad? Or was just been dyed by the beets?

First time visiting here after driving by it for so many years and it did not disappoint! Located along Lake Ontario, the view inside and outside is awesome. It looks quite small and outdated from the outside but has large seating rooms and a modern interior design. The service was excellent! 10/10 on all the food selections (I recommend the Shrimp Mac & Cheese!). Definitely visiting again to check out the patio in the summer!

Every time we’re in town visiting family, we always find an occasion to celebrate at Lake House. The food is always exceptionally good, but what really keeps us coming back is the service. This is a place with phenomenal staff and your dining experience is always a pleasure. Today Rhonda was an absolute dream and was beyond attentive and personable. The food, as always, was absolutely fantastic. Consider this an official petition to put the gourmet fish and chips permanently on the menu - not sure I’ll ever get over how good the tartar sauce was! We really recommend the burgers (both lamb and beef), calamari, and the shrimp mac n cheese (made with gnocchi) from the regular menu. Overall, this is one of the few establishments that I wish there was an bonus star option for on google. Prices are in line with major city restaurants, but I would say the quality supersedes them. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

First time coming here and overall fantastic, from the customer service to the food, everything was great. if you are visiting Niagara, this is undoubtedly the best place you could find to dine, and it's worth the stop in the middle of the way. Great vibes. Reasonable Price.

My girlfriend and I have dinner on Wednesday. We ordered the calamari and salmon crabmeat cake as our appetizers. The calamari was wonderful very tasty with the different dipping sauces. The crabmeat cake was okay. We got the big seafood rice for two of us. It was very delicious and good portion. Our server is Brianna. She was good overall but she never say you’re welcome when we say thank you instead just go away. We felt a bit impolite in such a good restaurant. We still have a lot food in our plate she didn’t ask us if we want to take out just take them away until we asked her to get us a container. Overall it was a good experience as always hope the service can be better next time.

Decided to take my employees here as a Christmas outing. Food was great and with nice portions. Atmosphere was cozy and classy, elbow room was a bit tight, and the table space was limited. Couple hiccups in the delivery of the food but not a big deal.

First time dining at The Lake House with colleagues. The food was fantastic and unique. The service was top notch with nothing I could recommend to make it better - the team here is exceptional. Went there on my birthday. The patio is lovely. We ordered calamari fry and few drinks to start with. It was just perfect. For main course we had fettuccine which was okay. But overall perfect for date nights ❤️😍

We were “regulars” at the Lake House. We went in about once a month, more in the summer months. We live in the area, it’s a beautiful location, and the food is ok. We went in to celebrate my birthday, on September 15. We didn’t have reservations. I dropped my party of five off at the door and parked the car. My wife went in and requested a table. She was told they were going to be busy, we could come in but we had to be out in 90 minutes. She agreed. She told me of the ‘condition’ when I came in. We didn’t have any problem with it expecting to be served in the allotted time. We always order appetizers. Our appetizers came, they were very enjoyable. My wife and I ordered the paella. I guess it takes longer to prepare. Just minutes after our entrees were served, our server approached the table to inform us we had to leave. It was not yet 90 minutes,, and all of the tables in our vicinity were empty. They offered to put our meals in take out containers, we declined and left our meals on the table. Our bill for five was close to $500.00. Not unusual. Driving home my wife was looking at the bill and noticed, adding insult to injury, that we’d been charged for coffee/tea. Of course we didn’t have the opportunity to order any desert or coffee. I returned to the restaurant and had the bill adjusted, apparently the server had put the items from another table on our bill in error. Many years ago I attended a dinner party hosted by my employer at On The 20 in Jordan. We were a large group, about ten or 12. Our table wasn’t ready, we had a round of drinks and canapés in the bar. It wasn’t a huge delay, maybe twenty five or thirty minutes. When Me employer went to pay the matre d’ came and said “I’m sorry sir, we cannot accept your credit card”. “We made you wait for your table, and that is below our standard.” That’s how you treat a good customer. We’ve dined at On the 20 many times since, always paying of course. We haven’t been back to The Lake House.

Went for a my friends birthday last month and had a terrible experience. The seafood smelled off and ruined everyone's appetite the server was not great at attending to our table.

I had the New York Striploin with Potatoes, medium rare. It was cooked perfectly, and the Au Jus it was served with was delicious. The service was prompt and curteous, I had very nice dinner.

It's a great spot for lunch or dinner by the lake (on the patio) during the warmer months. The dine in space feels too dark and tight for the claustrophobic in me. We only had dessert (outdoor) because we came for the view, so I can't comment on the food. Desserts were great! 👍

The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere really nice I enjoyed the steak that I had was cooked perfect my wife had the lamb shank but found that the bone inside was bigger than the amount of meat on the bone

We ordered the short rib and salmon entrees. They were both delicious and made very well with generous servings. Will definitely order again for a special dinner.

Amazing food, great service during pandemic!

Our family just enjoyed some takeout from Lakehouse and it was absolutely fantastic. Way more food than anticipated, especially the kids meals. The kids pizza was enough for an adult, and I'm no chickenologist, but I'm pretty sure the chicken fingers were massive tenders. I've been told I cook a pretty good salmon, but their pecan crust put me to shame. I called to order and there were designated pick up spots with a phone number to call when I get there. I think the person who took my order also brought out the food, and she was lovely. It was a 30 minute drive, but the food was warm and fresh when I got home. We will definitely order again. Drinks to go? Yes please.

Awesome food and amazing view! Went there as a surprise date, I'm definitely wowing. The restaurant is right on the high point facing Lake Ontario, the sunset was beautiful! Make sure you book a table before you go, the average wait time is an hour.

Blown away by how beautiful the location of this restaurant is, you feel like you’re on a tropical vacation when dining on the patio right next to the water. The only disappointment was the limited options during the lunch menu vs. dinner. Great options for drinks. Service was good. Overall, great experience!

Delicious and elegant. Beautiful place, excellent service and delicious 😋 food! OMG, Salmon Board was filling and delicate and elegant. Pecan tart was good and Coconut berries house dessert was a delicious surprise.

Great food, friendly service with one of the patios overlooking the lake. But the other outdoor dining area is right by the highway on one side and a view of the lake on the other. Still okay, especially under the circumstances. And our server Gigi was awesome!

I would highly recommend this place. The food is so good and fresh. Very romantic and upscale atmosphere. Customer service is very good as well.

My friend and I went for lunch today and food was very good. We shared the Caesar salad, fish tacos and the shrimp Mac n cheese gnocchi in a cream sauce. We also had wine, coffee and each had a mini dessert. Everything was so good. If you haven't tried Lake House yet, you are missing out.

Had an amazing Birthday dinner! The food was absolutely positively delicious and worth every penny. We can not wait to go back. Covid protocols were amazing, we even had our own sanitizer at our table.
