    Ripoff. Don’t pay 100 Euros here for a covid test with results not even in English. There are places that do it for free.

    My Portuguese girlfriend and I used their services today to get a fit-to-fly PCR COVID-19 test certificate so that we can to return to the UK. Pros: • On the UK government's approved list. • Test results emailed in English, Portuguese, French, and German within 7 hours. • 1 card machine accepted foreign bank account payments (Starling Bank, in my case). • A toilet was available. • We arrived at ~10:15 and "only" had to wait 1 hour and ~10 minutes to be called. We left at ~12:30. • Reasonably organised system - a staff member gives you a ticket which has your number and the number of people in the queue ahead of you, wait outside for your ticket number and booth number to be announced on the TV and the external speakers, go in to give your details and pay, go back outside to wait to be called by name for the test itself. • Friendly staff. • Nice grass to sit on and trees to sit under while we waited. Neutral: • Test cost €100 (£86.14) but was free with a Portuguese prescription (I don't know what one). • Test was performed by a professional, not left up to you to do yourself. • Test was both nostrils, not at the back of the throat. Cons: • It wasn't possible to make an appointment. • Announcements were only in Portuguese and staff seemingly didn't speak English.

    You can take a COVID-19 antigen test here for €25, which is actually a cheap price. However, the test result does not show what time the test was taken. Just the date. The Germano de Sousa medical laboratory knew that we needed the test for our flight. The missing time was very annoying for us because we were unable to board our TAP plane to Munich because TAP required a time. So we had to buy a new ticket for the next day and do another test. Which resulted in 5 hours at Lisbon airport and another €600 in travel costs. I think you shouldn't travel to Portugal until further notice. The effort and costs are not worth it. It's better to drive somewhere from home in Germany by car. And maybe travel to Portugal again from 2022.

    “Your call is very important to us”. Subsequently I’m redirected to a line where I’m on eternal hold - nobody ever picks up. Tried the Portuguese line instead but it’s naturally staffed with non-English speakers who just redirect you back to the English line where no one answers ever.

    Disponibilizam resultados de análises clínicas diretamente ao prescritor - Clínica protocolada - e não ao utente a quem, certamente que não por acaso, é em seu nome que vem as análises clínicas. Portanto, são dados de saúde pessoais. Solicitado por mim para enviarem-me também os resultados por e-mail, disseram-me que não era eu que tinha de fazer o pedido. Fiz reclamação juntos das entidades responsáveis.

    Incompetente e de mente fechada. Fui para Germano de Sousa-centro da cidade e depois de uma hora de olhar confuso eles me disseram que eu tinha que ir para o escritório principal para fazer o meu trabalho de laboratório que é muito longe do centro da cidade. Cheguei lá e depois de uma hora de deliberação eles dizem que não fazem esses testes. Insisto e digo-lhes que conheço pacientes que fizeram estes testes lá. Eles vão olhando e olhando e olhando finalmente admitir que eles fazem todos esses testes, um era básico painel metabólico. Eles dizem que de qualquer maneira eles não podem fazê-lo naquele dia porque o médico que tem os códigos para esses testes não está no escritório, que eu preciso voltar no dia útil seguinte. Perdi cerca de quatro horas e 4 tarifas de táxi de 30€ cada e ainda tenho de voltar porque são tão incompetentes ? Foi muito estressante e inútil. Não se incomode, dando-lhes uma chance, eles são tão incompetentes.! Eles só têm uma resposta para tudo o que é "NÃO" Você pode tentar outros laboratórios na cidade. Incompetent and closed minded. I went to Germano de Sousa-downtown and after one hour of looking confused they told me I had to go to the main office to do my lab work which is far away from the city Center. I got there and after an hour of the deliberation they say they don’t do those tests at all. I insist and tell them I know patients who have done these tests there. They go looking and looking and looking at finally admit they do all of those tests, one was a basic metabolic panel which I’ve done on every lab I’ve been. They say that anyway they cannot do it that day because the doctor that has the codes for these tests It’s not in the office, that I need to return the next working day. I lost around four hours and 4 Táxi fares of 30€ each and I still have to return because they’re so incompetent ? It was very stressful and useless. Don’t bother, giving them a chance, they are so incompetent.! They just have an answer to everything which is “NO” You can try other laboratories in town.

    My test results were due on the 10th of this month, on the 11th I called there to see what happened, they asked me to go and collect more blood, they said there was only one test left, today on the 15th I still haven't received the results! I don't recommend it and I'm very dissatisfied.

    At the Setúbal Laboratory on Av D João ll, the computer system takes so long to open that I have tried on the 3rd attempt to print and deliver the results, and I still haven't managed to do it!! It's all SO prehistoric and there's such a lack of professionalism that it's scary. For me NEVER again, and there have been several attempts to keep me a customer. They only print the results in the presence of the client, but as the program does not open...try later!!! Surreal... you
