😠 We were here in 2019 Terrible ➖: 1. This is an apartment on the top floor, with a wooden spiral staircase. It is very difficult to get up with suitcases. 2. We rented a room for two. The bathroom was shared and was almost never free. The kitchen is also shared. Constantly dirty in two bathrooms. 3.... People often mention room,

We were here in 2019 Terrible ➖: 1. This is an apartment on the top floor, with a wooden spiral staircase. It is very difficult to get up with suitcases. 2. We rented a room for two. The bathroom was shared and was almost never free. The kitchen is also shared. Constantly dirty in two bathrooms. 3. Mold! Our room with torn wallpaper was all moldy! We really regret that we didn’t move out of there as soon as we saw the mold. There was nothing to breathe, it was impossible to sleep due to the lack of air and the amount of mold right behind the bed and inside the window. The only plus is that it is close to the center, from Pombao Square and Eduardo Park. We absolutely do not recommend it!

A very good option for an inexpensive and central hostel. Small, charming, and clean space run by a very accommodating and gracious proprietor

I had very unpleasant experience with the owner of thos hostel. Together with my partner we made a reservation for 3 nights but we were ver surprised to duscuver that in the room we will not be alone! Our cohabitant was there long time before: a very unhealthy mold on the wall. You can feel immediately when you enter the flat that the air is heafy and stinky. The owner did not showed any uneasiness, did not apologise for the situation, she was absent that finally someone said to her that this is not a room for renting but for renovation! So we had to improvise and we found a great place to stay at Guest House Avenida. So in general: poor customer service and not a fair treatement of the guests: you can not do businees like this for a long time....

Welcome bedbugs to your life! If you'll stay here you'll get bitten by them at least a few times. :) Place it self is ok, owners should learn how to communicate with the people because the way they doing it is disgusting... They watching every step of yours and if you'll have any problems with this property they will create things which ones never happend just to not take responsibility. Unfortunately I have read all the reviews on my way to this place and thought it can be that bad. But the truth is all what people been saying its true.

The rooms were clean and tidy, liked the stay. The staff would always make sure it was cleaned everyday. The hostel is at 4th floor with no lift, so if you are someone who cannot climb up stairs, you should know about it. The marques de pompel bus and metro stations are very closeby, makes it super easy to travel around. What I didn't like? The breakfast had always shortage. The staff would fill the supplies with milk and other things. Always the milk would finish for 3-4 people. So rest always were out of that option. Also, the staff isn't available at hostels most of the hours, so you are by yourself, which was a bit challenging.

Basic in everything, except the good location. Industrial breakfast, difficult to control shower with hot and cold water. And the phrase "your mother is not here", posted next to the kitchen sink, is a genuine example of the withering away of the art of hospitality, once common in Portugal.

Having stayed there a few years ago I hated... misleading advertisement (supposedly an entire accommodation when we found ourselves in a very small room in shared accommodation). Poorly maintained shared bathroom, invasion of ants in the rooms... breakfast beyond reasonable. Anyway, to flee!!!! Moreover, when I wanted to leave my opinion on the Airbnb platform at the time, it was impossible to leave a bad comment (so...)

Terrible. I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy. Finished building, on the top floor of a terrible staircase (5th floor) Rooms are extremely small and do not match the photos. I paid in advance through AirBnb and was unable to cancel, thus losing €60. Very bad service, rude, xenophobic, rude attendant. (I wasn't there and I only spoke to her on the cell phone) Simply hell.

😐 To popular for its own good. It's nice to ride along on a rattling old tram through the narrow streets. But unless you really want to ride it until the end and the cemetery, then save yourself the hassle and the incredible queues. Get the Number 12. It does practically the same route through the old...
