There
is
so
much
wrong
with
this
place.
The
most
serious
is
their
concern
for
your
safety
and
belongings.
My
wife
“lost”
her
wallet
at
the
hotel
-
meaning
not
sure
how
it
went
missing.
Went
to
the
front
desk
and
told
them
about
it,
two
people
there,
they
looked
at
each
other
and
said
“we
did
not
see
it”.
WHAT??
How
about
checking
with
the
rest
of
the
staff?
How
about
checking
the
cameras?
How
about
trying
to
help
us?
How
about
maybe
someone
in
your
staff
stole
it?
NO
-
they
simply
brushed
us
off!!
The
hotel
is
so
far
from
anywhere,
in
a
pseudo
residential
district,
one
block
from
a
soon-to-be
ghetto.
Closed
stores,
run
down.
You
have
to
take
a
taxi
anywhere.
Oh,
and
right
under
the
flight
path
for
the
airport
-
so
good
luck
sleeping.
The
safe
did
not
work
well
–
maybe
that
has
something
to
do
with
the
missing
wallet,
uhm???
The
shower
controls
are
undecipherable
(when
i
mentioned
this
to
another
staff
member
he
said
“call
the
front
desk”
–
sure,
right
when
you
are
taking
a
shower
–
how
about
offering
an
instruction
manual???)
The
room
was
highly
computerized
–
and
for
those
of
us
in
this
industry,
we
know
that
means
nothing
really
works
well.
The
closet
door
could
not
close
so
the
closet
light
infused
the
room
at
night.
The
TV
could
not
turn
on
so
we
had
to
call
…
someone
came
up
and
did
something.
When
we
checked
in
we
were
told
“breakfast
is
downstairs”
–
meaning
somewhere
down
below
–
good
luck
finding
it
(you
have
to
notice
the
paper
signs
taped
to
the
walls).
No
room
service
to
speak
of.
Breakfast
marginal
–
espresso
typical
of
using
lazy
machines
–
espresso
to
them
is
just
a
small
portion
of
cheap
american
coffee.
“Deluxe”
room
was
so
tiny
that
we
had
to
move
a
chair
onto
the
balcony
(a
balcony
offering
a
wonderful
view
of
—
an
old
building
across
the
street)
and
still
had
to
climb
over
the
luggage
on
the
floor
(no
saddle
to
put
the
luggage
on
of
course).
Don’t
stay
here.
