Staying
here
was
a
nightmare
for
us
because
first
night
when
it
was
raining
outside,
and
water
started
pouring
through
the
ceiling
into
the
room
onto
the
floor
and
onto
our
bed.
The
water
on
the
floor
was
rising
and
we
wanted
to
hide
in
the
bathroom,
but
the
water
started
flowing
there
as
well.
We
had
to
quickly
pack
up
and
flee
the
room.
There
was
nobody
at
the
front
desk
and
we
tried
called
the
2
emergency
numbers
listed
at
the
front
desk,
but
they
didn't
work.
About
5
rooms
were
similarly
affected.
We
sat
on
the
stairs
with
our
suitcases,
waiting
to
see
if
someone
from
the
hostel
would
show
up
to
deal
with
the
situation.
The
receptionist
came
at
11
o'clock
and
we
reported
the
fault
and
asked
for
a
solution.
All
the
rooms
were
full
but
she
promised
to
have
everything
fixed.
In
our
room
was
a
lot
of
dirty
water
not
only
on
the
floors
but
also
on
the
mattress,
which
was
completely
soaked
and
unusable.
Returning
at
5pm,
we
found
that
no
one
had
been
in
the
room
up
to
that
point
and
everything
was
wet
and
smelly.
We
complain
again
they
promised
to
fix
again.
After
another
hour
they
brought
a
fairly
dirty
mattress
and
the
maid
covered
it,
mopped
the
floor
and
it
was
all.
The
mattress
was
damp
and
everything
in
the
room
bad
smelled
-
the
floor,
the
furniture.
But
it
was
a
done
deal
for
the
hostel.
The
next
night
pieces
of
plaster
falling
from
the
hole
in
the
ceiling
and
shattering
on
the
floor.
We
wake
up
and
afraid
that
other
parts
of
ceiling
would
fall.
We
were
forced
to
live
in
these
unbelievable
conditions
for
the
duration
of
our
stay.
In
addition,
the
water
stopped
running
early
on
Tuesday
morning,
so
we
were
unable
to
wash
in
the
morning
(!).
Then
we
asked
the
hostel
manager
for
a
discount
on
the
price
of
the
accommodation.
The
manager
refused
to
give
any
discount
and
said
that
everything
was
fixed
and
there
was
no
reason
for
a
discount.
And
it
is
the
hostel's
attitude
that
we
find
most
disappointing
about
the
whole
thing.
