We stayed two nights during a city trip. The guest house is located just outside the city center but very close to the metro station, which makes for easy travel. We arrived, checked ourselves in (no personnel present, accessed the guest house with a key pad) and were settled in in no time. The room was clean and looked nice, although it was a bit small, but if you just need a good and cheap place to sleep, definitely recommended. No problems with the bathroom either, although, again, not that big. On the second day when we came back the staff had tidied our room, which was great, and on the departure day we just left the keys and tourist tax in the room and shut the door behind us. Simple but great experience, go-to stay for a trip to Lisbon!

The accessibility to the airport was the main reason for my choice, pretty good and quiet neighborhood. You can self check in and check out, very helpful for solo and single night stay over. In that respect it certainly fullfiled my expectations and had a pleasent stay. The baging of building doors can be loud because doors are on the thin side, but luckily all went quiet after 11 PM. Shower is great, but usage of toilet seat comes with some restrictions :) (don't clog it with excessive amount of toilet paper)

Nice, small, and quiet rooms in a calm area of the city. The room was okay but the GuestHouse was unorganized. I was told I would be able to check in early after asking if possible per email and when I arrived I was unable to do so. I was greeted by the housekeeper who referred to himself in third person, asked me to pay for the room before even getting a key, and who told me to leave my luggage in the common area and come back later to check in (6h later). Check out was just leaving the keys in the lobby. There are many guest houses in the city and I wouldn’t recommend this one because it was quite far from the centre, the mess with checking in, and the 10 min walk to the nearest metro.

You can not find in the center of Lisbon, and for such a low price of other such charming, authentic, comfortable, clean, cozy guest house as Guerra Junqueiro. the mistress of the house, Anna, is very attentive, ready to help and answer any questions, ready to make you laugh and even teach you basic phrases in Portuguese. I have been there in October, and going to stay again.

My husband and I had a difficult situation while traveling and the staff at this hotel were super kind, professional, and sympathetic.

Nice guest house, nice rooms very clean , there is a kitchen for all rooms, there is en elevator. Bathroom very small, but privet. Never met the owner/workers, all made by messages and emails

Having stayed in three different cities in Portugal with almost the same budget for each of them, this was the best. Location is very central, close to the bus and metro stop. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. Theres also a supermarket nearby. The rooms were very clean and modern. Kitchen was well equipped. Very good value for money. Con:The appliances in the rooms, like the AC and the TV could have been better.

Charming and cosy guesthouse! The staff were also welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to leave luggages after check out, and even use the kitchen and bathroom if needed. You cannot find a better service elsewhere! The room is quite small though, since it is a twin room. It was difficult to pack our large luggage due to the lack of space. The air-conditioning didn't seem to work well either but we were given a fan.

A good place to experience local lodging. The owner is friendly. Takes time to explain the facilities. Basically you are renting a a room in a shared apartment that has complete kitchen facility and a reading room. The location can be a little confusing. From the metro and once you get into Guerra Junqueira, the guesthouse is located on your left hand side. Lookout for the guesthouse number. You get up to your lodging by riding an antique lift that is made from wood! Classic.

Clean, good facilities at a good price. The guest house is basically a shared apartment at the top of the building. I arrived late and had a bit of a confusing time as one of the rooms is on its own just outside the apartment. I found my room OK but had to phone in the morning for the apartment code to access the kitchen. The only other downside is noisy pipes and plumbing at night. Its a very pleasant apartment and my room and bed were very comfortable. It's a five minute walk from the direct metro to the airport and has luggage room, which could be very useful. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the city!
