Parque da Pedra is a very pleasant area of Monsanto Park. But, although the picnic park maintains acceptable conditions, the climbing theme park is in decline. There is a lack of maintenance and the equipment is deteriorating. It's a shame, because once upon a time, it was a very busy place with lots of activities. The users of Monsanto Park deserve that this place in full communion with nature is recovered and maintained in conditions for the activities it was created for.

We love this place, we come here to have long walks in the forest and park. Many trees, many great smells during the year. Smells of flowers, coniferous trees. Many people come here for cycling, for picnic, to play with dogs, to listen to birds, etc. But if you go trail you can find large space, where you can be along with your thoughts for a long time. There are special signs, marking different trails, so you won't be lost. For more photos of Portugal follow me on Instagram: @travelphotoreporter

A big green park and a nice quiet place in the middle of the city. You can walk around just for hours and find one nice spot after the other. Endless ways and nice views. One of the highlights is the ‘panoramico de Monsanto’, that’s definitely worth a visit!

Should’ve been a beautiful activity area if given the proper maintenance needed. Currently closed and unusable as of April 10 2022. The picnic area is open though

It's quiet, though not so much on the weekends when families take over and it's somehow always some kid's birthday. There's tables and a grill and paths you can walk on, as well as a nearby area with obstacles and ropes and stuff for kids.

An amazing and comically dangerous playground. Some of the features require a bit of creativity to cross.

An amazing spot for nature’s lovers! So many trails to run or walk, alone or with your partner, family, friend or pet. The hill is steep at the first sight but once the first steps done, you quickly reach more suitable paths that allow you to enjoy the view on the city of Lisbon. I came here twice in my 6 days of stay and already look forward to be back during my next stay!

Cool area of Monsanto, beautiful tall trees, nice paths but the arborismo and climbing structures are not usable.

The area is quite calm but the climbing wall and boulders are completely degraded.
