Mainly used for special events, this place is beautiful. Huge open square inside and a rectangle boarder with plenty of arches.

Today at #pateodagalé I have seen all that u shouldn't do when it comes to crowd management happening in 30 mins. Private security agents refusing to bring a chief security or a management forward. More ticket's then capacity been sold. Formal public complaint's procedures been refused. #PSP coming forward during their civil time, identifying themselves, asking for the chiefsecurity and also been refused. Myself and another girl carried a women in a panic attack and pushed her out of the crowed. Once the crowd lost it and decided to push, private security opened arms and pushed back. #policiadesegurancapublica was called to the place and refused to go. When my group decided to walk away we found a group of #psp 20 meters away, doing nothing and when asked to assist the place, their answer was: what to do? This scenario could be a political/religious strike, but was just 500 people trying to entered a party @pracadocomercio, @lisbonmainsquare in which the only visible security was at a very poor entrance. This is a place supposed to be #terrorism proofed and you barely can controlled 500 youngers entering a party to which they have pre-paid. #turismodeportugal, #portugaltourism is this what we are selling? #policiadesegurancapublica really should re-think their jobs. #pateodagalé selling more tickets than capacity is, as you could see today, an attempt towards public safety. What is the background of the people that was supposed to look after our safety? The minimum I'm expecting is a refund and a public apology.

A place out of a fairy tale or a high production romcom

This is a very beautiful old building, I think a king lived here unless the local who told me this was lying. Very beautiful area also.

Went on a company party, the place is really spacious and quite beautiful.
