    As exercise is a very important part of my well-being, I was looking for a training option that would be challenging but fun and exciting too. Mom In Balance certainly ticks those boxes - Vanessa, our trainer, is great at adapting the exercises so we can work out according to our abilities and no session is ever exactly the same, which is something I love and appreciate! Being able to work out in Jardim da Estrela and make new friends in the process are added bonuses too!

    I'll be forever grateful to Mom in Balance! Vanesa and trainers helped me recover from pelvic pain after a twin pregnancy. In only few weeks I started to see an improvement until my total recovery only few month from when I started. Their personalized approach to training makes it possible to go at your own pace/level and still feel you are using your whole potential. On top of that, the girls and trainers are sweet, approachable and fun! I recommended 100%

    I was filled with trepidation on my first day trying this but there was absolutely no need! Vanessa is a warm, friendly and knowledgable trainer and it has been a wonderful experience working out in beautiful Jardim da Estrela. I have met so many wonderful other women at Mom in Balance and there is nothing better than sweating it out in the fresh air! Vanessa is excellent at making tiny adjustments depending on your fitness levels and always has an eye on technique so I really feel you are in good hands. Highly recommend joining up!

    I started in Mom in Balance (MPower classes) while I was still trying to conceive. The fact that I could continue after getting pregnant and beyond was definitely a key factor. As I confirmed my pregnancy, I informed Vanessa but continued the MPower classes until 13 weeks and then switched to the Pregnant classes. I followed the workouts once a week all throughout my pregnancy, and now, at 36 weeks pregnant, I feel I've never been so fit! And this is my 3rd pregnancy! Let's see how I'll recover after giving birth, but I hope to be back asap for the Back in Shape workouts!! Thanks a lot Vanessa!

    I really love the workouts with Mom in Balance! The balance between strength and cardio is great and it never gets boring! I like to exercise in Jardim de Estrela in the mornings and their offer at that time is great (like 5 days a week or so), but also many options if you prefer to train in the evenings. What I like is that these workouts are great for expats too! The groups are a good mixture of Portuguese women and women from other countries. From the start I felt so welcome. Also the trainers are so motivated! Good way as well to meet other women in Lisbon. Oh, and by the way, you don't have to be a mom to join! I'm not a mom either, and it surprised me how many women did not have kids. :-)

    Great workouts and good company. Very good service, I joined few months ago pregnant and its a great way to keep active and do specific workouts with the trainers’s help! Definately recommend it.

    I joined Mom in Balance 2 years ago, when I was invited by Vanessa to do a trial training. I tried it, I liked it and I never stopped :). The concept is great: bringing together several women/girls who want to train, keep fit, relax, socialize and make new friends... train together and in nature, in such a pleasant garden, as in this case, Jardim da Estrela, but there are more gardens... and if there isn't a garden near your house, gather 5 women and propose to Vanessa a new garden for training! Last but not least, the trainers are one of the pillars of MIB: super motivating, competent, attentive and friendly... the other pillars are: "training together" and in "nature"! I highly recommend it.

    This workout has been the best and most consistent workout I have tried! I had not exercised regularly in years yet felt right at home and warmly welcomed. I am so happy to meet friends, challenge ourselves and discover our individual strengths and talents as women and mothers. I was an athlete growing up and it is very reminiscent for me of the 10 yrs of fútbol I played, the many years swimming & surfing, and it is as zen and fulfilling as bikram hot yoga. It is exhilarating, fun and you will SWEAT! #NeverSorryYouCametoMIB!

    I am so happy the MIB concept came to Lisbon! I recently got pregnant so switched to the pregnancy class which is absolutely great. Its a challenging and professional workout, but it's also a lot of fun. The teacher is very skilled and besides a good workout she gives us info about our bodies during pregnancy, what to do, what not to do. Plus of course it's a fun and easy way to meet other pregnant women. There is really nothing bad I could say about the concept, I just love it.

    I’ve been attending Moms in Balance in Cascais since April of this year and absolutely love it! It’s a step above your usual outdoor boot camp class in the way it’s structured to provide physical exercise, strength and training specifically for moms. I’ve been very impressed with their trainers especially with Carolina who has helped to heal my Diasis Recti in the postpartum period after the birth of my 3rd baby. With careful exercise and guidance, I felt supported by Moms in Balance all the way. I would highly recommend any mom to try one of their classes and come train in a friendly, supportive environment!

    Having been a member of MIB since it started in Lisbon, training through all 3 categories, it is really so much more than simply workouts. The workouts are challenging & fun but it’s also a community of like minded women who empower and support each other led by expert trainers who communicate clearly to know exactly what your needs are and push you to a challenging level that’s right for you. Nearly 3yrs later I am still immensely happy having found this tribe!!
