Poor service and lack of professionalism. I needed to do a COVID test for a trip, so I went to the clinic 48h before the trip and I did the test for 101 EUR. After all, the compromised to deliver the results in 24h by email. However, surprisingly I did not received anything after 4 days later when I was already in my destination without being able to carry out a normal life as I had to be isolated as an act of social responsibility. Additionally, after many calls and emails to claim such poor service, I haven’t received any news from them. Honestly, taking into account the current importance of the results of COVID tests, you need to be a bit more professional.

They never answer the phone. Need to go there in person to ask any questions or book an appointment. Also one of the women at the reception is quite rude. I never understand why people like this have jobs where they need to talk to people. Also the test I needed was expensive (vitamin d €50). I recommend going to Affidea which is not far. My test was €35 there

Very nice and friendly stuff. All tests have been taking exactly as they should, I've been asked all neccessary questions, got results quickly! Muito obrigada!

The staff was wonderful. Quick and easy. They spoke English and took very good care of us.

Poor service. The person who did my PCR test was very harsh. I had a headache for the rest of the day and needed to take painkillers. The swab also triggered cold symptoms (sneezing, watery eyes, coughing). I got my result within 24 hours but it did not have my date of birth on it. The UK government specifically asks for this information. I also asked for my result in English but got it in Portuguese with translations underneath. I've called Synlab to ask for the result to be reissued with my date of birth and for the result in English. The first time they hung up, second/third/fourth time I was left on hold. I went to this clinic because of its close proximity to my apartment. Never again.

Incompetent receptionist that is extremely unfriendly, does not speak a word of English and not even tries to help you if you're not Portuguese! Definitely a waste of time.

WORST CENTRE EVER. The lady at reception is rudest person ever. If you are doing covid test for travel find a better lab do not go with this centre. They do not understand the gravity of report before 72 hours. The lab lady says she does not have information and has no contact number to ask the lab regarding the status or to ask them to expedite the the process. She will do nothing to help or provide you any contact numbers All the bad reviews below are true.

Friendliness and good collaborators

I was extremely nervous to book at this place based on the reviews, I needed my results before my flight the next day and didn’t want to be too stressed out at the airport. I arrived early and they were able to give me my Covid test right away and my results were promised in 2-3 hours. I received them within 35 minutes, excellent service!

I was in this office of Synlab multiple times, no complaints. My Portuguese is quite limited but it was no problem to solve all my questions, everyone was helpful and friendly. I would come back.

Never seen a place where it takes 2 weeks to get the results from an HIV and STI test. I know things are a bit slower in Portugal... but yikes. very antiquated and slow. Costed over 130 euros also.

Claudia was super helpful and worked with me to get in a same day Covid test for a flight the following morning. She also spoke English quite well and walked me through the forms. Would recommend this place if you need a Covid test to fly!

The receptionist was helpful. Service was efficient and I received my result fast. My only complaint is that I got a very unpleasant remark from a staff when she knew I could not speak Portuguese.

A laboratory of excellence

We had struggled to make an appointment online for an antigen test and arrived feeling somewhat panicked. The kind girl behind the desk, helped us and the test went smoothly. We had verbal results before we left and formal ones an hour later. All set to fly now. Thank you!!
