"Best Chippy in Liverpool" This must have been a while ago. Advertise Hollands Pies and you get some weird Pukka type Cheese pie. Ordered Fried Rice, was in the try within 8 seconds, now I get you can't make everything to order but they were busy so making Fried rice takes about 5 minutes so they can do it fresh to order if they are busy. Rice was at least 2 days old and stuck together. Like rice pudding. As other places have done they have increased there already high prices, I wouldnt mind paying it if the food was any good. Won't be going again which is a shame, it actually used to be the best chippy in liverpool ***** Update (See pictures) My Dad said he was going to visit a few days later. I warned him to go somewhere else. He said it's always been fine for him. Look at what he got below. Now this cost him £8.50 for a chicken kebab and chips..... Large apparently. Forgetting the size and price...... the chicken stunk! And I mean stunk! It was grey!! He binned it straight away. It clearly was either very old "chicken" or very cheaply bought "chicken". Avoid this place at all costs! Someone is going to get sick and I can see this place closing soon!

Best chippy for miles and the only one we go to. I was 70p short for my order and told them to take a bottle of Pepsi back, the lovely lady serving me said she would take it out of her tips and to pay it next time I go. You just don't get that type of service any more!

Just ordered. This place has gone down hill not sure if it's under new management but 3rd time now food below standard. Chips are old not fresh in four meals and found plastic in portion of kebab meat. Did recommend this place to others before but won't be doing that again also no more orders from me.

Worst chippy ever! The food is horrible i been there 3 times for different things everytime they make mistake with the order and the food is not tasty...there is a lot better chippys in Bootle

First visit. Great location (by car) in Bootle, 2 mins drive from Bootle New Strand shopping centre. Car parks all busy around daytime, so need a little walk too definitely. Place is immaculate, really clean, modern! Staff (2 girls by the counter) are helpful. Was busy at the time of my visit. Waiting time for the takeaway was less than 10 minutes. Ordered salt and pepper ribs and chips with a can of curry. As a takeaway, we consumed this at home. Ribs were overcooked, burnt to flames, chips was undercooked, soft but not crispy. The salt and pepper taste for this business is a lot of chilly power and flakes hint on the food, I would say extremely lot, therefore you can't taste nothing apart from the chilly. Curry was too spicy too. Usually I'm having this meal combi in every place I try so I've got a good sense of comparison. No it was NOT tasty, it was only spicy. I would never go back here for this meal in the future. It doesn't mean I wouldn't try something else within the same business...

I'm sorry but I'm not happy with these I ordered a kebab without salad and chips to have with garlic mayo and chilli. Instead I got it with plane mayo and sweet chilli it was cold and badly presented I'm disappointed and the staff in there are not very helpful or welcoming this is what can cause your business a bad reputation 3/10

Very nice food but very expensive, portions could be better for what you pay, very small chip portions especially, if the portions were as good as other chippys, there wouldn't be a better place to get you food.

Foods decent in there like cant knock it but the staff bit bone idle they let a crack head bring an xl bull dog in there shop and said nothing that's the last time our family go there very hygienic guys well done thats what people want dog hairs 👏

Lovely food chips especially food fresh a little pricey though but isn't everything

I thought it was fast food, it's not here. 2nd most recent visit, was waiting for Uber orders and got my food after 15 minutes. Not many people in then. A lot of people were there tonight and waited again tonight for 10 minutes whilst waiting for Uber and several other people not being served. Left to go to another chippy. Nice food but slow service. Hope it improves.

Prompt delivery and I can honestly say I am yet to have a bad meal from them. Prices comparable with other takeaways of a similar genre who deliver. Food has ALWAYS arrived piping hot despite me living all the way in Norris Green. Delivery driver is always polite and courteous.

I’d never order of Just Eat again, as order didn’t turn up. As for telephoning Georg Gerry’s the attitude of the staff was appalling and you could clearly hear the owner in background stating not our problem get them to ring Just Eat. Clearly a theme here in the reviews you contact Just Eat yourselves and complain then you wouldn’t get such bad reviews and yes you are overpriced for the food you sell it’s ok but it’s not Michelin star food but your practically charging for for a fast food outlet. Poor

Nice food but the service is shocking. Expect to wait for 30 minutes for any fair size order. Staff just leave you waiting & don't make any effect to let you know how long the wait is. Overall not worth the hassle.

Gutted, this place is the best chippy around by far (usually)… Didn’t have what I wanted so paid more than I wanted too for dinner. I went for donar meat and chips with salad…. Donar was under cooked… I know it’s already cooked but this was just about done. There was no colour discrepancy on the cut strips at all, was still chewy and luke warm… so that got swerved… Chips were unusually under done too… literally like pale mushy potato… So, £8 basically for soggy chips and salad… not great…

This place used to be lovely years ago just got mixed meat fried rice meat full of fat rice was burned unedable Chips Uncooked and like mush Would never go back here and if your fancying a chippy tea Stay away from george gerrys!!!

Excellent chippy, been going here for years on & off. They need to expand into Aintree, save me driving there.

Eaten here plenty of times without any issues but unfortunately had a curry Tuesday night. Curry unbelievably hot absolutely cleaned my insides out had the shites up until midday ( went the bog 9 (nine) times they need to sort this curry out it cost me a days work. Curry chips and a can of coke £205 (inc lost day rate) 😡

Spot on bit dearer than back in Burnley but very nice food. Curry sauce is bang on

One of the few chip shops open mist of the day, gor when you want a 1 o'clock meal or something. Other places always closed. Chips here are great, and burgers. Clean place too
