The smallest national park in Zambia but still you can see elephants, rhinos and water buffalos. There are no cats in the park

This place is the perfect description of 'close to nature'. The Victoria Falls is magnificent! You have got to experience it at its peak. It's breath taking. You also get to see the wildlife so closely. No safari needed. Great place!

This includes the falls as well as a wildlife sanctuary. The park is OK for wildlife viewing but may seem disappointing if you have visited other national parks, but it is still good. However, this is a place where you can see wild rhino as part of a game drive. The park rangers lead guests on a short walk where you get the chance to see the Rhino up close but far enough away to not disturb them.

The park is located in the southern part of Zambia, in Livingstone. I absolutely enjoyed my game drive at the park. While the park is relatively small, it is home to a variety of wildlife. I got to see White Rhinos,Zebras, Buffalos, Gazelles, monkeys and some baboons. The park has got elephants as well but I was unlucky to spot any during my drive. While in the park, one can easily see the Zambezi River and spot some Hippos and crocodiles along the river side. The park provides a blend of natural beauty, wildlife and adventure making it a popular destination for visitors seeking a memorable African experience.

Excellent park with 5 minutes of Livingstone. Definitely hire a ZAWA Ranger to guide you and get access to the rhinos. Also use an outfitter such as Funk Adventures for expert service and top-notch equipment

Had a private game drive with a seasoned game ranger who was very knowledgeable. Managed to see 7 out of the 10 endangered white rhinos. What a treat! A beautiful way to start the day. I highly recommend it

The Victoria Falls are a breathtaking spectacle to behold. The park is well maintained with adequate information and facilities. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Give yourself a minimum of 2 hours to walk through the various cataracts at the falls and marvel at the different views. I was fortunate to experience the sunset views. Truly the 7th wonder of the world.

Mmmm.... watch your back when down here... Elephants roam the wild here. And they are truly wild. A place for the Risk takers.... would never recommend it for any Jim and Jack. Seek professional guides wen venturing out in this wild

People who work here are horrable! Then I came they were talking to each other, without saying hi to me, they start to discuss my skin color, called me muzungu! Then I asked: why you did this? I think that's not normal if I'll call you black men. They say: we call white people muzungu (ghost) because of our past!! I asked: that kind of past? Shall we talk about it? Or probably you want to know my country's past? I am and my grandfathers they not responsible for you past, because till 1861 they were slaves! Anyway they all were angry, thinking that I am lier because they never heard about other countries only USA, and GREAT Britain that means I am the one who should be responsible for that!! After that.... Security guy was about to punch me just because I asked where are the prices? (he reached high level of angriness at that time because of THE PAST) the last drop for that guy was then I said: On website for foreigners it costs 10 dollars but here 15, I said it look like coruption (but this word not for this situation, just my bad English skills). So that's crazy they blame us for nothing! And I said I will never come back to this country, if they like this. Where a lot of nice places in the world why should I give them money if they don't care about customers. Situation was really dengerous but my English can't let me write well.

Not the best park in Zambia. For locals, great place to get out for a few hours. Great picnic spots for sure. In terms of wildlife, very little to see other than the usual impala, giraffe etc, plains game. Some of the best sunsets I've ever witnessed were in this park, right on the end of the river.

2nd to none! You want awe? Just look at and listen to thousands of litres of water crushing onto the canal below. You want fear? Well, thats all around you - one wrong turn and it's hard to imagine the results! You want fun? Stand in one of several locations and have a thousand drops of mist water descend on you. Or stand in the middle of knife-edge bridge and experience both fun and fear at the same time!

Beautiful time of the year in Zambia, grass is green and weather much cooler. Though the green vegetation makes it hard to spot animals. However, I've been there in the dry season and it's easy to spot animals. So I will post photos from different seasons. It's the only park with the wide-mouthed rhinos. Elephants are usually there, incredible beasts !

World class birding and spectacular waterfalls on the mighty Zambezi river. After the Nile, Congo and Niger rivers, the fourth largest in Africa.

Did a 6 or 7 hour game drive here. The park is a bit smaller than other national parks, so they can more easily protect the animals from poachers, which is why you can also find rhinos here.

The reason we gave this park 4 stars is its small and needs maintenance. We self-drove our car in and around the park….they really want to have you get a tour guide, but it’s unneeded. The bathrooms are rough at the entrance and the park needs to maintain the roads and signs. You get your fees paid, go in and start driving around the paths. Not all are clearly marked, but you can’t get lost as it’s all loops. We saw loads of wildebeest, zebra, impala, and warthogs. The cape Buffalo came out in the afternoon into the marshy grasslands and walked all around in front of us. The hippos were seen in the River! The elephants were all over the opposite river bank. We had a great drive! The rhino seem to be tracked and protected by a group of people/tour guides. They want you to pay them so they take you to them and view the rhino. It seemed a little too “unnatural” to us. We saw rhinos in the wild in Etosha and didn’t need to be led to them and pay an armed “guard/guide”. Again, the park is small and will only take you a few hours to drive slowly through and around.

One must keep in mind that the falls are seasonal. At the moment the water levels are at their lowest hence you'd only see rocks at this time of the year. Come April and May, the falls are at their peak, be prepared to be soaked to the bone!

The views from the panorama trail are excellent but the whole site is not well kept at all compared to the Zimbabwean site of the falls. Its quite unclean and some areas are broken, so it can be quite tricky to walk around safely. No personal on the trails at all. But still very worth to see.

I've been working in this National park close to 4 years and I highly recommend it to travellers who wish to see the critically endangered white rhinos and a close distance on a walk. The park has 3 of the big 5 mammals and depending on the season most of the time its not hard to see animals because of the small size of the park.
