First time dining there. Outstanding! It is a bit pricey but, it's worth the price. The service was excellent, shout out to our waitress Kaitlyn and the rest of the staff for taking care of us. The atmosphere is good. Our food was delicious. I do recommend.

Absolutely subpar! Ordered the market trio and out of the gate we waited 45 minutes for our food. After waiting that amount of time the food should've been perfect! IT WASN'T! I ordered the salmon blackened instead of broiled, it still came out broiled! The shrimp were ridiculously and unexplainably dried out! The crab cake was not fully cooked in the middle. The veggies were lukewarm. I WAS COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED! The only thing that actually tasted delish were the smashed redskins. They remade the salmon which was still partially undercooked, as was the redone crab cake. I make crab cakes all of the time and they simply seared both sides, but did not allow enough cooking time for the center to set. They brought back replacement veggies and gave me half the amount I was given the first time! The funny thing is, this was not the first time I've had horrible food from here. Then, the manager had the nerve to only discount my bill $15. This was my last time going here. I've been to the one in Lansing several times when I lived there and never had an issue. I don't see how people give this place 5 stars. Only the attention from our server deserved 5 stars not the food!

Remarkably unremarkable is how i would describe my meal at Mitchell’s. We started with the clam chowder which had nice pieces of clam in it and a good texture but lacked a depth of flavor that i was expecting. There should be a creamy rich goodness to clam chowder and this just lacked that completely. The real disappointment were the entrees. Crab cake was bland with no texture inside or out. The corn it was served on tasted as if it had come from a can. Salmon just tasted like salmon. No seasoning to speak of and the sauce was just a pretty color and nothing more. The shrimp were the same except they were over cooked and chewy. The stuffed cod my wife got wasn’t much better. The service was very good which is the only reason I won’t give them one star.

Ok, I pulled up to Mitchell's FISH MARKET for dinner with my sisters. This my first time eating here, and I so happy I gave them a chance because the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and crab linguine, and the shrimp were a little overcooked, but overall It was very tasty. I would definitely repeat and put Mitchell's in my going out rotation.

Excellent fish restaurant, with a constantly changing menu of fish of the day. It's costly, but delicious. Warm bread, great appetizers and a variety of preparation styles. Had the walleye and seared perfectly. Balsamic salmon was amazing! They had a separate gluten-free menu and said that GF is prepared in a separate area.

The service was excellent from the time we walked in the door. We were seated quickly as well as received our drinks quickly. Our waitress Dawn was amazing, very helpful and kind as well as the floor manager. She helped me out a great deal. Food could have been better. However, I'll let the service out shine the food review. Will I come back? I've been here maybe 5 times, this is my 1st time disappointed with the food.

I came here with a friend for the first time & was seated at the Bar Table. Friendly staff, fast service & the food was amazing. I also liked the atmosphere & overall will be coming often.
