Attention!! Do not chose this accommodation!! There is no door separating the house from the landlords home, so you will have no privacy! The landlords will invade your space without consent,will touch your stuff, make noise, clean around (for no apparent reason), scream and swear. There are also two extra rooms in the house (8 in total) where tourists will come and go, and they will use the same bathroom. There are cameras inside the house and you will be controlled 24/7. They will know all your moves. If you bring a guest over you will have to pay 400€ fee. If you want to accommodate a family member to your room you’ll have to pay 20€/night extra (even though you pay for this room already). There is no heating in the house. If there are damages in the house they will not fix them. They have obsession with cleaning and if there is a cramp on the table they will call you names like “animal”, “dirty” or will talk about your upbringing. They will use the contract only in their advantage, and will constantly threaten you that you will be kicked out if you don’t comply to their rules and be obedient.They have no manners,they are not welcoming,they have no compassion. They are greedy,rude,controlling,liars and will try to take advantage of you at any given moment. They will find stupid reasons to keep your deposit (ex. We can’t find a pillowcase). They illegally tresspassed my contract (which was relevant for six months) and kicked me out with no legal procedures or any reasons, plus they never informed me about it and I learned it three days before so I almost got homeless while I was in examination period. Some of their reviews on this page are fake (made from the landlords official profile).These people are not to be trusted. If you are a student, they will destroy your whole experience and will cause you extreme emotional discomfort.

Hello, The owner didn't allowed us to stay. Arrived with my family, started checking in, took bags out of the car. Everything was fine. My 19 month old daughter started crying (sleepy and hungry), the owner took the phone, asked for some minutes, and after more than half an hour waiting in the lobby, with two tired kids, the owner told us we couldn't stay because the younger was not 24months old, only 19 months. My wife cried. We were so tired, arriving from the mountains, and had to book another place to stay. Guesthouse Soul owner was almost enjoying the whole situation. I've been travelling with kids for so many years, so many reservations and never had this kind of negative experience, and this type of treatment. I misread the 24 month old policy, and that was the excuse given to expel us. So if you have kids and want to stay, make sure you dope them before arrival. You should review working with this "gentleman" again. He also charged us the 200€ VISA of a stay that never happened. Had to book elsewhere. This was not a "now show". We were expelled.

Absolutely not worth staying here. If you want to experience bad hospitality and have a panic attack then this is the place for you. I think nazis are more tolerant that the owners of this place - they are constantly watching every step you make trough the loads of cameras they have installed in the house. There is one camera in every common area (kitchen/hall/stairs) at every corner (see photos attached). I took the hair dryer to my room which I put back in the bathroom as soon I was done, it took me 15 minutes at most - immediately one of the owners came after me to YELL about how I shouldn't take the hair dryer. Also we got yelled at and kicked out of the kitchen for wanting to eat there our own food at lunch time because the owner had a sudden urge to disinfect the kitchen, which is disinfected everyday, as soon as we walked in there. To not speak about the fact that the first night when we walked in - we took the slippers to our room without changing from outside shoes right at the entrance - after 5 minutes the owner sent us a message and came after us to tell us we should take off our shoes. Mind you it was late in the night, around 1am, which means only one thing - they are constantly watching the cameras. Control freak sociopaths!!! To the owners: If you can't tolerate people - change your occupation!! P.s. So sorry for the guy in the reviews under who was kicked out with his family because his hungry and tired newborn stared to cry.

Quiet, clean, guest respecting each others, good place to stay at a resonable price, however parking was a bit of a question of luck

Place is near river, but there is no access for guests, to many rules and the atmosphere is cold and unwelcome.

Reservation was confirmed. Hotel could not proceed with payment through 3 different cards (Accepted everywhere in Croatia and Slovenia without any problems),just cancelled booking without even bothering to call me. Probably have already some guests. One star is to much:(

Best service I've ever seen! The place is run by the manager and his wife and they are super friendly and kept the place very clean! I think they cleaned the shared toilets 6 times a day! It always looked shiny like no one has used it before! And since we got lucky and arrived when the large 4 people room was not reserved, we got upgraded there for free (for just the two of us)- see photo! The manager also gives very useful insights and information about the city and how to make the best of your trip! Absolutely worth staying there!

The apartment is immaculately decorated and in a lovely spot next to the river. You can see otters and ducks playing in the river and the castle is framed in the distance. The owners are lovely people and have a wealth of local knowledge which they are more than happy to share. 30 mins walk to the heart of Ljubljana and a great base to explore the whole country by car.

Good hotel close to citycenter. Nice Rooms and good breakfast served; and very helpfull host receiving us. Only drawback the shared bathrooms, which did queue up a bit in the mornings. Bus connections and city-bike station right outside door made it easy to get to center.

Owner gave us a complimentary beer as the door could not be unlocked due to wrong PIN :) Lovely locale. Amazing house. Must visit and stay

Very nice and clean rooms, the place as a whole is warm and quiet and for the price you won't be able to find a better place to stay.
