Food is okay, nominal standard, nothing surprise us. HOWEVER!!!! We don’t know why everything are served in disposable containers, is not environmental friendly or sustainable.

First time dining here for dinner. We ordered individual, food were served quite fast. Like everyone mentioned in reviews, food were served in disposable plates and bowls which are slightly disappointing. Grilled Mackerel Bento is delicious with 4 sides I get to choose. Potato salad and Crab croquettes are so yummy. My son had spicy Miso pork Katsu Don which he likes and hubby ordered Chicken Kaarage Udon also delicious. Recommended

Have been trying bento in many places but Mazri is my favourite place the most. Their food never let me down. Good service and food are amazing. Highly recommended!!!

3 meals for $50 during dinner. Ordered Pork Shogayaki, curry udon and tonkatsu. The moment you enter the restaurant, the scent the place emits teleports you to a small eatery in the alley streets of Tokyo. The interior decor is adorned with 1970-80s memorabilia like movie posters and toys from Japanese culture. Food had a home cooked food type of feel, nothing high end if that’s what you’re looking for. Family oriented restaurant. Tables were readily available at 6pm on a Thursday evening.

If i had to describe this place in one word. Its Authentic. The food is amazing and we loved the decor. Reasonable prices too. Will come back.

Step into this restaurant and you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported straight to Japan! I had the pleasure of indulging in their set bento box, where the joy of customization meets culinary excellence. You get to choose your main dish and then delight in picking two varieties of two different side dishes. The flexibility to tailor your meal, coupled with the sheer deliciousness of the food, was simply outstanding. We also held a gathering for the Japanese community here, and the staff’s thoughtful attentiveness added greatly to our experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese dining adventure!

The best tasting economical Japanese bento box in Brisbane & Logan area!! Love the many selections of main and side dishes available to be chosen in the bento box. Very tasty and freshly prepared meals. Cant say enough how much I love this place. Plenty of parking most nights and outdoor and indoor seating available.

I’ve been going here for two years and the amazing food and friendly service remain unchanged. It might be my favourite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane! Their prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are massive. The bento box is my go-to order and it always make me too full (which is good!). Their potato salad is just amazing (if I could order a tub, I definitely would). I highly recommend!

While the cuisine's quality and affordability were standout features, a minor consideration pertained to the use of disposable plastic for serving. Nevertheless, the overall experience was positive, with the restaurant emerging as a commendable choice for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience with a touch of warmth and flair.

Quite solid Japanese food. But not more. Why only 3/5? First of all, everything was served on plastic or paper. That’s not sustainable at all. But what probably is more important, everything tasted solid but not really good. Probably the dishes we ordered were the reason, but some of the meals tasted like frozen Asian grocery stuff. I expect that the most dishes are self made. Probably I am wrong. Nevertheless, I would give it a try again.

Such cute little place. The food was yummy and the service very friendly. The wagu Omu rice was delicious and the croquettes were amazing.

The first impression is exquisite decoration filled with Japanese design. The food on the menu is very common which you can find in almost every Japanese food restaurant. All the cutlery are disposal. However, Omuhayashi is impressive!!! I haven't eaten before. It's a savory rice dish topped with an omelet and sliced beef tongue.

Really good menu with great food at reasonable prices. Staff were really friendly and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. My only small problem is everything was everything is served on disposable plastic which is a shame, but the food tastes good :)

This place was absolutely amazing. I had the Katsu bento!! There’s this special sauce that made the Katsu sweet and still crunchy. The rice was well cooked and miso soup was sooo delicious. The atmosphere was really beautifully decorated! This made eating really relaxing and the music was funny, but calming :) Lovely lady at the counter was so nice!! Immediately served water after I asked. Food came fast and no need to wait a long time. (Also please ask your children to lower down the volume when watching YouTube. We could hear animation sounds when eating) ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Wish we could tip the waitress!

Wagyu omu hayashi and grilled salmon bento are my all time favourites. Aesthetic Japanese interior decoration. Reasonably priced. Location is convenient, close to the highway. Only thing could be improved would be the containers - paper bowls and containers adversely affected the dining experience.

If you're trawling Brisbane for the best Katsu curry, make sure you stop in at Mazri. Always a great feed with options of adding cheese and/or an omelette. Pork katsu is always my go to!

My go-to-place for lunch every time I’m working in Underwood. Lovely authentic Japanese meals, great portions and worth the price!
