Tossing up between the one next door and this one yesterday afternoon. Looked at the reviews on Google Maps and decided to give this one a go. We had been to the Thai Restaurant next door too a few years ago and it was nice. The food at Baan Thai was exceptional! The prices were very fair. Would I go there again? Yep! Would I recommend this restaurant? YEP Would I work there? Yep! Ticked all my boxes.

It is with great sadness that I report that the last Baan Thai restaurant has closed its doors. The best satay chicken in Queensland. The owner has retired after working so hard to provide us with such wonderful cuisine. My friends and I wish him and his wife a happy retirement.

Have never been disappointed so far (been 6 times). Flavorful authentic Thai cuisine just as advertised! Very polite & accommodating staff, reasonable prices, vegetarian/Vegan options & 4 star council Eat Safe rating. Look forward to dining again! :-)

Baan Thai Restaurant is highly underrated. They have beautiful food, wonderful service & great vegetarian options. Perfect spot to come if you need some time out, want a delicious meal and like to support local, family run businesses 👍🏻

Best thai restaurant ever its a must go

This place is a hidden gem. The food is the best Thai we've had. Not flashy but great food and great service. Our family come here often and have never had a bad dish.

Delicious meal. Both orders were full of flavour. Loved the quiet dining experience as opposed to loud music blasting. Very pleasant and relaxing ambience.

Best Thai food anywhere.

We had dinner at this place two weeks ago. Foods was not really great but ambiance was nice. I did an order as friend rice with chicken. But order came wrong but taste was good. The chef is also really friendly.

Second time at this restaurant and this time Sat rather than week night so food was a little slow to come out but at least you know it's freshly cooked. Food just as fabulous as last time. Chicken with satay sauce TDF! #28 Beef with ginger needed more ginger. For those who don't like sauce, recommend the garlic pork #32. Entrees lovely; spring rolls almost Vietnamese in taste - quite different yet refreshing. Only thing I would ask is that the waiter and waitress SMILE instead of looking like prisoners. Owners are lovely.

Excellent service, so friendly and very attentive without being in your face. Lovely food, we had starters, soup, massaman curry and pad thai. All were delicious! Reasonably priced too. I wouldn't normally order coffee after dinner but did today and it was a great coffee. Loved it and would certainly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem and has the best Thai food my partner and I have ever had in Brisbane. Every single dish we had was so delicious: Chicken Pad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yum soup and Chicken Larb. The plates look deceptively small but there is actually plenty of food. We even had Fried Ice Cream and Sticky Rice with Custard for dessert and both of those were great too. As for the prices, it’s honestly fairly priced considering the high quality of food. Highly recommended 5/5 😊

The best Thai restaurant for authentic Thai food. Tom yum soup was delicious and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Our go to place for fast service and beautiful Thai cuisine.

Promp service and good pad thai. I've had better. The prawn and crab meat fried rice had little to none crab meat ans was too much scrambled egg in the rice. Would give it another go next time with a difference dish.

Best Thai restaurant in the local area without a doubt. We've been eating here for years and the food is always exceptional. their friendly staff are very accommodating and are always willing to shuffler tables around to suit our group.

The food is quite good, but I was expecting authentic thai food. The portion is decent, however cutting nails when I am having my meal, it's unpleasant experience.

All food from entree to main was so overcooked. We couldn't eat the pork in soy sauce or chicken kebabs. So dissapointing as we just decided that takeaway would be a good idea. The sauce flavour was the best.

Nice food but portion size is terrible for those prices. Customers should be getting at least double. This Restaurant used to be great good quality, great portion size, and great service. All still ok but portion size has dramatically dropped and honestly will not be going back..
