The owner is a gem person who knows Indian food and speaks Hindi . Good Indian food Good service A 500 MTR walk from phi phi Island port. With the help of Google maps we reached the restaurant. Don't go with the Ambience but by the food. Overall if you are looking for Indian food in phi phi Island this place is perfect. Recommended

I travel already since more then a year and never wrote any recommendations but this place is absolutely disgusting. I ordered Butter chicken (which was quit expensive with 280BT) and got chicken in a terrible tomato sauce which tasted like tomato ketchup. If I could give 0 stars I would do it.

Allow me to say that this was the best place we had Indian food in our entire trip (Phuket - Phi Phi - Krabi - Pattaya). Everything checked the mark - from the spices used for the dishes to the hospitality of the staff to the low waiting period. We had gone to Phi Phi from Phuket and were yearning for some good Indian food (you can take an Indian outside India; but you cannot take India outside the Indian) and the moment we tasted the humble Aloo Gobhi at this restaurant we were taken back to our home. We were so content the first day that we came back the second day again (in spite of having other Indian restaurants in the area). On the second day my husband was not in a mood to eat. But once he tasted the Massaman curry that this restaurant served us; he gobbled up the whole dish. It might be a tad bit expensive, but their food quality and hospitality absolutely justifies the cost. The humanity of the staff is also something that I would like to mention here. There was another customer next to us who had an emotional breakdown. The staff went over to him and offered comfort (I know this has not got anything to do with the food. But it just goes to show the level of commitment this place has towards their customers) Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant at least once.

I recently stayed at a hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Indian cuisine they offered. The flavors were authentic and the dishes were prepared with care. The spices were just right, and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend trying the Indian dishes at this hotel, as they were some of the best I've ever had. The service was also excellent, making for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning for more.I highly recommend that everyone go there..

Visited this place last night. We ordered the basics i.e. daal and jeera rice. The food was delicious, no doubt in that. However, the service is not upto the mark. The staff was not bothered to attend the customers. We literally had to wait to call them to order further. Location is decent. Food is certainly delicious.

Really tasty Indian food which takes a little time to be prepared, compared with Thai food (always almost ready), but is delicious. I tried aloo tikki and non-spicy chicken tikka masala with plain rice and everything was awesome. The cleanliness of tables can be improved a little bit but nothing serious which may ruin the experience. Prices are more expensive than Thai food. I paid total 500 Baht for the above explained plus a small bottle of water.

The best food I've had so far! I had Super Pad Thai with Omelette and chicken, as well as Pizza Margherita. Both were very tasty (and NOT spicy 😊). I also had 2 fruit shakes (Lemon and Watermelon) - they were good, but a bit too waterish.

I ate at the restaurant four times and each time I was amazed anew. Special and delicious dishes. Good place for people who love food.

Really bad Indian food, probably the worst I’ve eaten. We ordered paneer butter masala and dal makhani, a plain naan and rice. Everything was bland and too salty, I felt like I’m going to puke…

I recently visited Himalaya, an Indian food restaurant located in the beautiful Koh Phi Phi island. However, despite the picturesque surroundings, the dining experience left me underwhelmed, ultimately warranting a 2 out of 5 star rating. The first issue was the lack of authenticity in the food. As a fan of Indian cuisine, I couldn't help but notice that the dishes were a far cry from traditional Indian flavors. My hopes were high when I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, but upon tasting, it seemed as though the recipe had been heavily adjusted to cater to a more generic palate. This left the dish lacking in the complexity and depth of flavor one would expect from a well-executed Tikka Masala. We also decided to try the Vegetarian Pizza, which, despite not being a classic Indian dish, was offered on the menu. Unfortunately, the pizza was equally lackluster. The crust was neither crispy nor soft, and the toppings failed to complement each other in a way that would make for a memorable pizza experience. It is important to mention that there are other Indian restaurants in the area that provide a much more satisfying and authentic dining experience. As such, it's hard to recommend Himalaya when better options are readily available nearby. In summary, my experience at Himalaya was disappointing. I would advise tourist who are coming for a maximum of two days to explore other restaurants in the area.

Do visit this small Indian restaurant. Food tasted really good. It might be better than some of the Indian restaurant in Bangalore. One request to owner. Please clean your restrooms
