Definitely a bit expensive for what it is. The rooms are extremely simple and pretty badly decorated. However, we loved the staff and the situation. It's isolated from the rest of the island (accessible only by boat) so it's rather quiet which was nice, but it was a bit expensive to travel back to the centre (500B day, 1000B night). Would not recommend for party goers. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Tuna is a great guy and will work hard to make your stay amazing! This part of the island is still paradise, but because it's separate from tonsai pier and only accessible by boat (or a long hike) things can move at a different pace. Be sure to contact tuna ahead of time to get a water taxi set up for when you arrive, it will be MUCH cheaper than hiring one out yourself, and Tuna will likely be aboard to greet you and help carry luggage! The guesthouse is nice, quiet, and offers several options for free breakfast, yum! Super friendly staff, clean room, and excellent amenities around. I can't say enough how much you should visit this part of phi phi as opposed to Tonsai, it is like stepping into a different world and you will not regret the small added cost to get there!

When visiting the small village we stumbled by coincidence on this cosy restaurant where they serve the most appetizing seafood dishes. Absolutely phenomenal food. Don't be fooled by the minimalist decor, if you don't eat here you're doing yourself an injustice!! We decided to try Red Tuna on our first night in Phi Phi and we had our expectations exceeded. The chef, Mr Tuna, is an absolute legend not too mention a brilliant chef and an artist. We ate here all 4 days we we're on the island and didn't even bother eating in the resort or anywhere else as the standard and freshness of his food were the best we'd had during our 2 week trip in Thailand. Being pregnant myself, this was really important to me and I felt totally safe eating his food each night. On the 3rd night he even gave us a private cooking course which is something my fiance and I will never forget. He specially ordered in some of the biggest Tiger prawns I've ever eaten, incredible! Prior to this trip my fiancé wasn't the biggest fan of Thai food,but after this was converted. We will leave Thailand not only with some amazing experiences, tasty food, but also a friend from this warm and fantastic place.

The food was fantastic and the prices very low compared to western countries. The rooms are basic, but not overpriced and the resort is set in a really cool little fishing village. Terrible experience. When you arrive at the pier you have to pay an extra 600 baht per person to get to the bay where the hotel is by boat. 1200 baht there and back to leave the island. Absolute con and money grab. Avoid if you’re backpacking/on budget.

This family run place is amazing because the owners are immediately so warm and friendly. They welcome you with open arms and treat you like family. The Owner, Mr. Tuna, is a gem of a human. We stayed at his guest room, ate at his restaurant (delicious) and went on a fishing tour he organized. He even cooked up our fish with his own unique creation. The location is perfect and the service unparalleled. We loved our stay and highly recommend.

This small hotel is on the perfect side of the island. The room was clean, sheets too, it had AC and hot water for showering. Concerning food, we had legit authentic Thai food that tasted so good ! Breakfasts were included which is nice. Once there, Pee Tuna and his wife (both owners) are very implicated in making your trip ideal by helping you managing boat trips and guide you into stuff to do at an honest price. They are very friendly and make sure that you have everything you need. You can walk to Nui bay from the hotel, and enjoy your afternoon there. We definitely recommend this place. Make sure to bring cash if you only have a card to withdraw money, there are no ATM on this side of the island. Although, you can pay everything by card.

I love this place, I've stayed there twice and am sure I'll be back. Tuna is an awesome dude and I love the chilled vibe. My kids and wife loved the place too. The food in the restaurant is great as well. The little town is nice to walk around, chatting with friendly locals. I wouldn't want to do phi phi islands any other way.
