We were staying just a few doors down and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast/brunch there two days in a row. The food was wonderful and the service was fast and efficient. It was the perfect way to start long wonderful days sightseeing in London. The Full English Breakfast was a highlight of the experience. I could not recommend this place enough. Delicious food!

We had a super delicious and wonderful meal here on Friday. I loved the patio area as it was quiet but still in the city centre. The food was AMAZING and my sister and I both loved our breakfast meals here. The cocktails as well were delicious and full of flavour, yet super reasonable too. We left very full to say the least!! Service was wonderful too and I would definitely come back. Thank you so much!

I loved brunch at The Table Cafe. The place is really lovely inside with good coffee. The restaurant has lots of vegetarian options. I enjoyed the Veggie Plate and we also got the breakfast on top of a waffle. That was SO good. The waffle was excellent. I would definitely visit this place again. They do take reservations, so I would recommend that if you can plan in advance.

Such a delicious spot for brunch served everyday with a wide variety of options. I would highly recommend the Finger Lickin’ Chicken & Pancakes- the chicken was crisp, the pancakes were fluffy, and the whole dish had a wonderful depth of flavor. Service was timely, although a little inattentive. Food is fairly priced. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Had friends from overseas over and they wanted brunch with my puppy. It’s amazing how this place is 100% dog friendly so we went there. Food looked amazing but I think the taste wasn’t as great as I expected. I got the corn fritters with extra bacon and felt there was more flour than actual corn itself so slightly disappointed. My fiends ordered pancakes and said it was only average in taste but the presentation was spot on. Overall we found the food a tad too salty overall.

The Table Cafe is an absolute gem in the world of dining, and my recent visit left me thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the welcoming ambiance and modern yet cozy decor. The restaurant exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a memorable meal. The staff was not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of a culinary delight! The menu boasts a creative fusion of flavors and ingredients, and each dish was a work of art. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the presentation was simply stunning. Whether you're a fan of seafood, poultry, or vegetarian options, The Table Cafe has something to satisfy every palate. I also appreciated their commitment to sourcing locally and using fresh, seasonal ingredients. It's evident that they take pride in their craft, and it truly shines through in the dishes they serve. The Table Cafe is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a memorable meal, I highly recommend giving it a try. It's a culinary journey that you won't soon forget!

The waffles are THE BEST ones I've ever had. Book on restaurant website otherwise you'll be sitting outside! Had the corn cake with scrambled eggs. Delicious! The waffles are simply incredible. Super fluffy, very light, melt in your mouth. Waffles will never be the same again if I have them somewhere else. Because I now know how good they can be. I will DEFINITELY BE BACK. The reason I scored 4 for the atmosphere because we were given a table outside. When I booked it through Google it did not state that we will be outside. The staff were very good to move us to a table underneath a heater but not all tables have heaters. So book directly via their website to sit inside.

Reach at 330, managed to walk in. The store look like they are ready to close and doing their cleaning. Staff still welcome us in. However our waffles are not make fresh. It was reheated, some part of the waffles are cold. Tastes much better waffles given the price point.

We visited The Table at lunchtime on a Wednesday, I made a reservation just in case but there were plenty of tables available when we arrived. I initially liked the variety and the freshness of the menu and being a vegetarian the full veggie breakfast (£13) sounded good. When it arrived it was well presented and was very tasty, the spinach was particularly delicious and the beans were not the processed heinz variety either. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino to go with my breakfast and my boyfriend ordered the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon (£13) and a milkshake. The restaurant was very bright and airy and the decor was homely looking. The staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and welcoming. Having brunch at The Table was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

I love this place! Come here at least once a month. Always crave the waffle and fried chicken with Vanilla milkshake. The staff are nice and the place is very cozy. Try to come during an odd time tho if its weekends brunch then its very packed.

Had a lovely time at the Table Café today. The food came swiftly and was so good! Literally nothing lacked and the coffee was also really nice. My sister and I both enjoyed our Brunch Club with Waffles and French Toast - having a side definitely made it a filling meal. Will be sure to come back here!

A lovely varied menu of classic and creative brunch items. Plenty of vegetarian options, so there's really something for everyone. The plating is beautiful and the food was good. I had the corn fritter, of which the fritter itself was a little dry but the dish as a whole definitely worked well together. There is also a nice brunch cocktail menu!

Great brunch spot with vegan and vegetarian options! I had the full veggie plate and loved the full spread. I came on a rainy Friday morning & most of the tables were full. I’d imagine this is a hot spot on the weekends. Quick and attentive service.

(Translated by Google) Brunch is pretty good, but I found it odd that they don't have sparkling water. The place is formal, the tables are so close together that you can sit at "time". It looks more like a factory than a place where you can enjoy a break with serenity.

I love the menu here. There are so many good options to choose from! French toast, pancakes or waffles are a must. My favourite was probably the pancakes. Although it was a close toss-up between the French toast and pancakes. Make sure you book as this place is packed out for brunch at the weekend. They seemed to do their best to squeeze in walk-ins, but I was so glad to have a spot reserved when I arrived as it meant zero waiting time.

I visited Tate Modern for brunch on my way. There are tables where you can enjoy a pretty atmosphere outdoors. Friendly staff, delicious food! Also a place with plenty of reasons to visit 🤍 I'll try pancakes next time :)

Very convenient and central location, cosy vibe and friendly staff. Breakfast option are satisfying, covering both savoury and sweet offers. Veggies would be happy as well, there is plenty of non meat choice. It was very crowded but we were served surprisingly fast. Prices are fair and quality good. A nice spot for brunch :)

Give it a(nother) try! We used to frequent The Table, mostly for weekend brunch (it was some time back), but then the consistency started to waver, so did the customer service, and our perception of the the price-quality ratio somehow didn't seem convincing, so we eventually stopped. Recently, we passed by again, and noticed a happy hour effort, so we decided to give it a go. Glad we did. We were met with a smile, accommodated based on preference, and served with care (and humour). We only had time for drinks and nibbles, but both met our expectations. It was an enjoyable 'happy hour' and we may just give the weekend brunch another go. Just to see. It is encouraging, and I am hopeful we can get our 'local' brunch hangout back. Fingers crossed!

Incredibly good quality food and drink, all four of us had different dishes and we all really enjoyed everything. Very friendly welcoming staff, great atmosphere and excellent value for central London. Highly recommended, especially good for breakfast/brunch.

food was good, no doubt. but not much taste in terms of spices & salt. i had a plant based brunch & ordered mint tea. was very disappointed in their cups. They serve hot beverages in plastic cups, which is bad for your health. it also looks cheap ( for being a fancy cafe having this cheap cups made me upset( even small coffee shops that respect themselves have ceramic cups. The staff works without much enthusiasm. I myself also work in the restaurant business, and therefore understand how it works & expected at least a smile from the employees

First impressions: very relaxed with mello music, we visited on a Thursday morning. Large windows let you watch everyone outside rushing to work! We sat indoors but they have a large outside seating area where they supply blankets. I had the full English, my son had banana and bacon waffles, my wife had salmon and scrambled eggs. 2 lattes and an orange juice. We arrived at 8:45am, by 9:15am all the tables were taken, so get here sharp or book!

The upside is that food is served rather quickly after ordering. A cosy environment to chill. Tried the borough full English breakfast which came with bacon, sausage, two sunny sides up, baked beans and mushroom. It was decent.

Came here for breakfast and had a lovely time. The service was prompt, the food arrived quickly and was lovely. I had the chicken waffle and a large vanilla latte. The waffles were lovely and filling, would also recommend asking for extra syrup. The coffee was great, though the large was definitely more than I needed, so would go regular next time. I would absolutely come back here to try more of the menu!

First time trying this place whilst in London. Nice, clean, friendly atmosphere and not too full. We visited around 9am. The server was efficient and friendly and the food came quickly. I ordered the full English, which was delicious and my boyfriend ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was also tasty. All round, good place for breakfast, with tasty fresh food. We will be back. :)

Nice cafe, perfect for a brunch! Good food (English breakfast, waffles pancakes...) and atmosphere, open kitchen but they are quiet. I recommend!

Food-wise, very much satisfied. I can definitely see myself coming back to this place again solely for food. The greatest thing about this place is a truly wide variety of brunch menus - usual brunch dishes plus waffles, pancakes, french toast and burger. We went with savoury waffle, oh boy what a beautiful taste and texture of waffle, so yummy. Bonus point for the generous size of coffee (large size coffee is large in size indeed). A nice vibe/decor inside as well. Not a five stars because it was a tad overcrowded (distances between table are very short! Almost feel like we were having meal with people from the tables next to ours) and felt the place is understaffed - we had difficulty in grabbing attention from servers and ended up not having dessert that initially we were going to have.

I Had booked a table table for two at the Urban Garden area since I was seeing my friend after a long time. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the host with a warm smile and directed to my table with some fantastic recommendations especially because my friend is Vegan and I have a Gluten Allergy. We both ordered the V Burger and it was absolutely scrumptious. We also ordered some lovely cocktails and would definitely recommend the Ricky’s Tipple and the Cubans do it better. We had a great time and the atmosphere was lovely and fresh. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for looking after us and making our day even more special.

Ignore what people say in the comments about pricing everything was fairly priced given its in London. Staff v attentive, food tasty and portions alright.

  • 4/5 Mark C. 2 years ago on Google
Only giving 4 stars due to poor service from the host when we first entered the restaurant. We had a table of 5 booked but was told the table was not ready, made to wait half hour, and apparently told we were being aggressive when we asked for an update??? Pretty absurd start to the experience but the manager resolved it for us in the end. Food is good, that I must say.

I took the eldest to London for a half term treat and had heard amazing things about the Table Cafe round the corner from the Tate Modern. I knew that the menu was going to be perfect for me but was worried it looked a bit too adult for the picky 6yo. However the staff were utterly charming and accommodating and delivered brunch of dreams for us both! Delicious food and professional friendly service. 5 ⭐️

Great for brunch. I had the Long Weekender waffles with halloumi, which was excellent - the waffles were light and crispy and moreish. My friend is a coeliac and they have a good amount of gluten-free options, although they use the same kitchen. So no guarantees, but that’s pretty standard from businesses in the UK now. Also at our table were the Full English with black pudding (delightful), and the corn fritter, which felt really heavy and dense when cut. The place is obviously popular and was absolutely packed, but the staff at least were observing covid protocols, which was reassuring even if the tables are really close together. There are a couple of outdoor tables which I’m sure are lovely when it’s a bit warmer! Staff were very attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this place and return!

  • 5/5 S F. 2 years ago on Google
A lovely little cafe with very tasty food! I went in with the intention of ordering a full English, but after reading the menu decided to give the Eggs Benedict a go, with a side of Ham Hock and Chorizo hash browns. The breakfast was delicious - the eggs were cooked perfectly (runny in the middle) and the hash browns were great. Would definitely go again.

After having read reviews about The Table Café, I was looking forward to their brunch. Unfortunately I came away disappointed after having a subpar breakfast at a premium cost. The pancake (not pancakes) for £13 was underwhelming and the bacon was beyond crispy and very tough to eat. The State Mary drink just looked like a drink you get in a Spoons served with tiny plastic straws but at a cost of £8 and it was very potent, making it difficult to drink. The bacon dust in the drink just looked like bits of soggy biscuit crumb and didn’t add anything to the experience. The latte was nice and a good size. Overall the entire experience lasted about 30 mins and it felt very rushed but the staff were very pleasant and there was a good buzz about the place. It’s not really a place I would recommend to friends. 2 x Brunch Clubs Pancake 2 x State Mary’s 1 x Latte 1 x Flat White £55.80 inc service.

Fantastic! I wasn't sure where to go for brunch while Visiting london and a friend of mine recommended this place. The staff were very welcoming, and I felt really looked after! It was clean and it was nice to see chefs in Action. Coffee and food was delicious and it was a big portion! I will definitely be back next time I am in london! Thank you and see you soon! 🤩

Book here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We went for the full English breakfast with black pudding. The service in this place was excellent with loads of staff who each had a roll. You could see the food being prepared and what was coke out looked amazing. Are breakfast come and it was just as I though truly amazing food. Well worth a visit here and will go again just try try something different.

Hands down my favourite brunch spot. Host always goes out of her way to to find space for me even when it's super busy (always is at weekends). Well worth waiting for a few minutes if it is at capacity. The staff are super friendly every time and the service is always great. I've tried most things on the menu. Love the Vegan pumkin pancakes, corn fritter and the burgers are also brilliant.

Breakfast/brunch served all day. Both savoury and sweet breakfasts available here so there is something for everyone. We hadn't booked a table, however luckily there was ample seating outside for us, on a late Sunday morning. Eggs were perfectly poached and hollandaise sauce excellent. Drinks and food came out in good time. Cannot wait to visit again.

Came here for a Saturday brunch with a friend and we were glad to have made a reservation beforehand as there was a queue (albeit short) when we arrived! It was very busy in the restaurant so we didn't get served until we signalled to one of the staff that we wanted to order food and drinks. When a waitress eventually came, I started ordering food first but she immediately interrupted and said we had to go with drinks first then food which was frankly speaking quite rude and weird to have to do it that way - so service is a 2-star. Food came fairly quickly given how busy the place was, and we went with the Strawberry Dream with pancakes and the Brunch Club with waffles. Honestly, the pancakes weren't impressive at all - they were chewy and hard and not fluffy and airy at all. The toppings were okay but overall the pancakes were really dry had there not been maple syrup to soften the pancakes. On the contrary, my friend enjoyed her waffles with the savoury toppings but didn't think they were so good that she wanted to come back again. I also ordered a large flat white on the side which was okay. Vibes were good, friendly colours and wooden chairs and tables gave off a homely atmosphere. But because of the lower quality in service and food this wouldn't be a place to be bookmarked on my list.

The food is delicious , they do great brunch/ breakfast meals . French toast and pancakes are the great , the bacon they use is nice and crispy and the hash browns are incredibly delicious . The homemade lemonade is exactly right and coffees are good too. However, I’ve been a few times and staff seem quite moody and it’s hard to get their attention even when it’s quiet .

  • 5/5 Scott L. 2 years ago on Google
We loved the full English breakfast. And the black pudding had some great flavor. The staff were friendly and ready to help. The food did that yum that only comes from those that prepare it and cook it with that special love for their craft. It was happy town flavor train. You will not be disappointed with size of the serving. The pancakes were amazing, truly a cake- loved the cream and berries. The French touch was dense with lots of flavor that just put a smile on your face. The clotted cream just hit the spot with the sweet syrup. The eggs Benedict was on point with hand crafted hollandaise sauce. The full English took you to the country side and a warm English inn. The sausage was fantastic as were the eggs and bacon but the star of the show were the beans , some darn great beans. Definitely coming back.

I was lucky enough to get a table without a reservation on a Sunday at 10am. Good friendly ambiance and friendly service. I was warned that the food would take 40 minutes, but in reality it took 15. Eggs Royale for £9 with an extra of avocado for £3 - the smoked salmon was really tender and the poached eggs cooked to perfection.

  • 4/5 Amanda M. 2 years ago on Google
Great vegan options, had the pumpkin pancakes which were very tasty! Really nice atmosphere as well. Given 4 stars as it’s quite expensive and alternative milks are subject to an extra charge.

  • 3/5 Kate D. 5 months ago on Google
A vibrant spot with a tempting brunch menu, but there are significant shortcomings in service quality, and it appears to be overpriced for the offerings. The waitstaff lacks professionalism, often unavailable when needed, and many seem stressed and hurried. The food is enjoyable with a decent variety, and the waffles taste good, although they don't stand out as particularly special. We weren't fond of the plastic coffee cups, which felt rather inexpensive— not what we anticipated in a brunch spot where dishes range from £15-20.

  • 4/5 Hannah W. 1 year ago on Google
You won’t get in at the weekend without booking. Table of two booked for early afternoon and got a nice table by the door. Lots of friendly staff around and happy to help. The place is quite tight and very busy but overall a nice feel, could do with some sound damping measures. We had two hot chocolates, eggs florentine and poached eggs on French toast. The food was well portioned and very tasty. It came out extremely quick (almost too quick). Everything was lovely except the feeling of their goal being turning tables and not serving customers. This was evidenced by a waiter coming round all the tables with bills even when the bills weren’t asked for. Understand the need to make profit and increase volume but they make it a little more personable service.

  • 5/5 Sara N. 1 year ago on Google
Great brunch, especially the savory things on the menu, and the coffee is amazing. There are vegan items on the menu and milk alternatives which is lovely; the outdoor seating is especially pleasant because it’s not on a street pavement but in a courtyard type of space, making it quiet and less windy. 10/10

  • 4/5 Vivian W. 11 months ago on Google
Large cafe with ample space and seating for big groups and families. Perfect for an outdoor brunch and lots of choice for drinks, juices as well as sweet and savoury breakfasts. Recommend the chicken waffle and pancake options. Staff are friendly and will return!

Glad we booked as this gorgeous cafe close to St Paul's cathedral and just across the road from the Tate Modern was super busy for Sunday brunch, food was absolutely delicious though with perfect poached eggs for all 5 of us and really interesting menu options. Great service. It's a bit of a squeeze when busy but not too noisy and there is a lovely outside eating area too. The toilets let the place down a bit, they both need some work, and one of the door handles was broken so wouldn't close properly but we forgot that after an epic meal. Wish I'd taken more photos to do the menu justice

Very accommodating, polite and friendly staff, amazing waffles! I did mention it was my birthday on the booking (it was part of the booking process) and the employee who showed us to our seat acknowledged it however no other mention from any other staff and nothing special added to the service which was a little disappointing. Just a thought if you make it part of the booking process to ask if this was a special occasion then what’s the point if you’re not going to treat the customer with a little something extra? This hasn’t put me off from returning as I was happy with everything however just thought I would provide this feedback so you are aware :)

Not usually a fan of brunch but this place hit the spot; no frills - just good, decent sized food. I got the chicken on waffles which was delicious, though the waffle was slightly too crispy and not soft enough for my liking. Only downside was that it was rather hard to get the attention of staff when we wanted to order and get the bill.

  • 5/5 Abbi A. 11 months ago on Google
The team were so friendly and welcoming when we were standing outside looking for a menu. Recommendations were spot on and we were so delighted with the food - my friend opted for the sweet corn fritter which was so beautifully served and I had the chicken and waffles which was sublime. If you go for coffee, don’t get just an espresso as it’s a little bitter but I’m sure milk-based coffees would be fine as it’ll add the sweetness. The juices were delicious too.

Fresh juice, eggs florentine with extra halloumi and breakfast bruschetta with smoked salmon set us up for the day exploring central london. Service was fantastic and seemless. We happened to stumble upon this gem after searching for places to get breakfast on Google. We started to read the reviews and we fell in love with the owner. What a funny guy. We work in the food service industry and we appreciate your wit. So we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed at all. The food was great. Fresh and delicious(the halloumi is the stuff dreams are made of). The service was good too. Prices are fair for the great quality of the food. We sat outside at one of the picnic tables because the weather was beautiful. We will definitely be back when we're in London again.

Great music and vibe, friendly service and delicious food. 100% would return for a follow up brunch! Don't be discouraged if there is a queue to be seated, it only takes a few minutes.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in this restaurant. They offer a wide range of different breakfasts, very good coffee and tea. The restaurant itself looks very nice and the ambiance is good.

Although it's a bit out of the way for me, I'll try to come back here. Our reservation got lost, but they did their best to get our party in quickly. Service was great, and the food delicious. Although I have to admit, my favourite was the chips. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, they were perfect.

This place is extremely popular. You need to book if you want to come here for brunch. You are allocated a set time. I highly recommend the waffle with sausage, bacon and scrambled egg. It was very filling, and the waffle was perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Visited London over the Easter weekend and The Table was our go to breakfast spot for the 4 days we were in the city. The food is terrific and the staff are attentive and very friendly. They do take reservations, which are recommended from 10:00 onwards. The atmosphere is clean and light and they also have outdoor seating. Overall a great little place.

Went for brunch on a Sunday, luckily we don’t have to wait. Ordered the French Toast and it was good. The price (£12) is ok.

Fabulous cafe that has an inspired and innovative menu. The service was exquisitely friendly. The food was prepared, as my waiter said, "with love and affection." Certainly not the usual fry up. I would note that it is not a place for those on a budget but for those who can afford it, certainly worth a visit.

This is the best brunch spot in London. I’ve been many times now and the service and quality never disappoint. Together with the post-pandemic changes to the outside area, late drinks and nibbles evenings, and occasional live singer, this place has such a good vibe! 100% recommend.

We'd had a very busy week in London. Early mornings with quick breakfasts on-the-go so we'd could get sight-seeing asap. But on our last morning we just wanted to have a leisurely start before seeing a few last places. We welcomed by lovely staff and served lovely coffees with DIVINE waffles. One savoury and one sweet. We could see the chef was on his own cooking everything too which was mightily impressive. Such a wonderful way to start our last day in the capital.
