Starting in Little Venice and finishing at Limehouse Basin on the River Thames, the 9-mile Regent’s Canal Walk is a simply beautiful way to explore London. The Regent’s Canal is great for walking, offering scenic views of colourful canal boats and opportunities for pitstops at parks, cafes, pubs and more. You will walk past some of the city’s most famous landmarks, such as Regent’s Park, London Zoo, Camden Market, King’s Cross Coal Drops Yard and Victoria Park. This is by far the best way to travel across London!

Beautiful walk!! Did a 15km today from old street to Paddington and it was great and definitely did not feel that long. Benches on the way and Camden Market to eat, drink or to have a little rest.

Strongly recommend walk, I was lucky because the day it just was perfect, sunny and good temperature. You can enjoy some refreshments or food because there are some restaurants along the canal. Be aware of the cyclists as it's a narrow path.

A lovely walk full of silence…. In one of the loudest city’s in the world…start at paddington and end in Camden for example…with a stop in primrose hill…

We started the walk at Camden Town tube Station. It was difficult to find the canal entrance. We had to walk down a grungy street with loads of stalls selling cheap goods, that reminded us of Khatmandu. The first part of the walk is through an area that is heavily grafitted. You cannot walk all the way to Little Venice on the footpath without going on the street. There are some nice sections; as we passed the London Zoo we saw African wild dog on one side and Colobus monkeys on the other; we also passed some mansions, a Chinese restaurant boats and sone houseboats. The latter seemed very shabby. Not worth repeating.

It’s always nice to walk along this canal. So peaceful and tranquil. You can capture photos with a couple of ducks swimming slowly on the river ☺️. By the time you finish it, your smart watch might reach over 5000 footsteps, which is cool.

Finally got a chance to peruse Regents Canal Walk and I am thrilled I did! Walking the canal was a peaceful, calming experience - with tons of historical character and charm! There were a few points that were busy and the berth of the walkway is (historically) very narrow so be sure to have good walking shoes and some semblance of patience!

It’s just beautiful- once we bought tickets and went for a boat trip from Little Venice to Camden Town. But today we walked along the canal - stopped in Regents Park for a coffee.

👍👍 I went on my first hike with this group to boxhill and I couldn't recommend them more. The hosts were friendly and welcoming as were all the hikers. I went on my own, as did lots of others, and it was just like being with friends! I'll definitely be back more often. It's such a great way to see beau...

👍👍 Really a touch of ancient history. It's incorporated into the local city design, and it was an accidental find in the middle of the night. Lovely to just follow the wall around.

👍👍 Really beautiful palace, which oozes with the history that must have coursed through it for centuries. It has that derelict air which conjures up a feeling of nostalgia for the bygone era in which this was a land of sailors, a memento to what was hardly London, only a little stretch at its periphery...
