I recently had the pleasure of staying at Park Plaza London Riverbank with my parents, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view of the Thames River. The fact that the hotel is located in front of Big Ben only added to the magic of the location. Waking up to such a phenomenal sight every morning was truly unforgettable. The panoramic views of the river and the iconic landmark created a picturesque backdrop that enhanced our entire stay. Speaking of service, I can't praise the staff enough. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and eager to assist us with any requests or questions we had. It was clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on providing exceptional service, and they certainly exceeded our expectations. Beyond the stunning views and remarkable service, the hotel itself was impressive. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and provided all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and cleanliness were evident throughout the property, further enhancing our overall experience. Park Plaza London Riverbank has truly become our go-to hotel in London. The combination of the stunning Thames River view, the proximity to Big Ben, and the exceptional service make it a standout choice. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or for business, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in the heart of London.

Staff was pleasant. Services were not. Our hotel, the shower was not draining water so we contacted the front desk. They sent an engineer to come fix it but instead he made it worse. The next day, called them again to come look, this time they sent 2 engineers but neither one of them bothered to turn on the water to even check how it was not draining. Said it was working fine which was a lie. Finally the front desk said they would send someone up to switch rooms for us, waited almost 2 hours and no one came. Had to go down to the front desk and they had no idea what was going on. Was able to switch rooms however, instead of an upgrade after all our troubles, they downgraded us to an even smaller room. Called for extra blankets and pillows since we had 4 people, and housekeeping did not show up until an hour later. Staff is nice and hotel is decent looking. However, would not stay here due to the lack of poor services they provide. Not worth the money we paid for. Might as well pay a little more and stay at a different hotel.

We stayed 5 nights in a One Bedroom Suite, train view (LOL) beautiful clean rooms, great location, friendly staff, staying there a pleasure. On the down side: the bathroom was not heating and was chilly. The bedroom no heating working as well, the wall mounted heater didn't work. Not such a big deal for me but it would have been for the kids. Kids slept in the adjacent room on the pull-out sofa. Not recommendable for teenagers and up, the mattress is too thin. The mattress in the bedroom I felt not really comfortable even though I have normal weight. The TVs had to be fixed, in room telephone didn't work, had to go down to the lobby. What I can recommend, book the breakfast the day before at 15 instead of 25GBP. Pool a bit small, but nice and clean. Well maintained sauna and steam room. Would I stay there again? Yes.

It's a great hotel with an amazing view and very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and spacious with a Nespresso coffee machine. That's a big plus for us as we are big coffee lovers! There is a late checkout option too. The breakfast buffet is great. We also loved the hotel restaurant Chino Latino. The spa is small but only 12 people can book at a time, so it isn't overly crowded. It seems to be a highly popular hotel amongst families with children, so, if you're expecting a quiet spa time, that's unlikely to happen. We went mainly for the view and great food, so we weren't bothered by the noise in the spa - I am just flagging it for those who might find it irritating. The only con was that our room was quite cold. We turned the ac on the maximum hot option and it was still blowing cold air.

Beautiful hotel. My late husband and I went to Europe and stayed in this hotel years ago. The rooms are so nice with everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The hotel staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and cared for. It is in walking distance of all of the major attractions, the London Eye, Salvador Dali Museum and so much more. If you prefer to just stroll along the Thames or take one of the many bridges into downtown London it is all there.

Quite simply the poshest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so friendly. I’d asked for a view of Parliament as it was my partner’s birthday. They did it and they’d written a special message on the window. It’s the small touches that made it special. The room was amazing, very clean and so comfortable. Room service meals were tasty and reasonably priced for a London hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a romantic special treat.

Mixed bag. Interesting WhatsApp setup for room service, kind of immediate response plan They said they'd reply within 3 minutes. The first was that, after that they didn't reply. The TV, utterly bizarrely, had no music channels. A first world problem, I get it, but really? So it was assumed you'd have your own player or didn't want music videos. Why? Also, the TV set had no optional YouTube channel but you could cast your device to the TV. Fine, except it wouldn't and kept showing rooms to connect even though they weren't ours. Asked reception, she would have the engineers look. They never did. Room was comfy, well stocked, bathroom was nicely laid out, everything spotless. Good, but it should be at the price, so not exceptional. I would return but wouldn't rush or have it at the forefront of my plans.

I stayed at this hotel for a holiday in London, and oh my god. The rooms, the staff, the people and even the lifts were spectacular. Everything was extremely well looked after, and super clean. With an amazing view of the Thames, everyday I would wake up, open the curtains with the control panel, and take a look at the stunning vista. The pool was lovely and warm, the sauna was amazing, and the gym looked like it was brand spanking new. 10/10 and would definitely come back. Well done.

At check in there wasn’t any form of identification, my friend booked our stay and I could just check in under her name without identifying myself. The rooms have had their best time, nothing really bad but not 4* quality. The bar was sold out of most of their spirits, no JD, no other whiskeys, no Baileys or anything like that. And it wasn’t just for one day or night it was for our complete stay that they didn’t stock up on anything. There would be plenty of staff around but getting to order something took forever. Calling to the reception from outside the hotel they just wouldn’t answer! We were on the other side of town pretty late at night after being at a musical and couldn’t find a Taxi. Thought we’d call the hotel to send us one (as this should be a normal service at a 4* hotel). We’ve called the reception 12! times without anyone answering the phone. Disgraceful! Ended up walking trough London for quit a bit before finding ourselves a taxi. All and all not a hotel I’d recommend…

The room was very comfortable but the bathroom had no heating and it was freezing in there. The breakfast buffet spread was good but the waiters would start clearing the table while you were still eating which was a bit weird, almost like telling you to leave… ever so slightly rude… The front desk was very kind and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights for business and it was great. I wish the furniture is a bit more modern and renewed. The hotel amenities are all good, modern and clean. Most importantly, there are no bad smells anywhere. There is somehow noise coming from air leak I guess that can be heard inside the room. Also, the isolation between the rooms is not that good. For those who have business at IMO, it is absolutely a perfect location at a walking distance.

Stayed here for work last week and was really impressed. The staff were really nice and friendly. The room was clean and quiet and had all the amenities. Brilliant shower. One thing that was a little annoying was how bright the control panel for the lights/curtains/AC was on the bedside table. It was excellent bonus having the pool and steam-room downstairs - had them to myself mostly. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely fine. Pretty standard full English buffet with all the continental trimmings. Would have been nice to have been offered some à la carte options.

Very nice hotel on an excellent place. Innovative Virtual key management. Very friendly and helpful staff . A special thank goes to Cheryl who provided such a great support in the restaurant during breakfast. She’s the sunshine of the hotel. The breakfast also worth to mention with the large selection and the restaurant & bar which you can gather great sushi experience. As well nice pool and much sportive opportunities in the fitness room . A place to recommend

Great location for a conference! Large conference area and good facility. Bar / restaurant up the escalators is really good. Great staff! José was the best and likely the reason I was there every night during my stay. Great bartender! Amazing views from higher floors.

Had a family break here and booked the Ultimate family suite. From start to finish we had a excellent stay. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom had a proper shower which is always a big plus with me. The gifts for the kids all added to the excitement of the first night on check in. Breakfast was good. Plenty on offer and well presented. Hot food was a little cool for my liking. We didn't avail of the hotel restaurant so can't comment on it. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. The concierge are very helpful with any travel advice you need around the city. The air conditioning in our rooms is a bit funny, with the controller in the kids room seemingly the main as this was the only way to turn it on or off. Also when you turned the kids bedroom lights off it also turned of the bathroom lights. Something for maintenance to look at maybe. All in all a great family room in a great hotel in a great location. I would happily stay again.

Daniel was an Angel! I needed to extend an extra night and although the hotel could not accommodate a fair rate, he tried everything he could to help make my stay as comfortable as he could. Customer service was excellent at the front desk! The rooms are very nice. All controls from lights to closing the curtains are remote controlled by a counsel by the bedside. It is very convenient! The bed is also very comfortable!

Nice room but they can be a bit slow to see to repairs (doors to toilets in three rooms over six stays). Attentive staff. The location is great but it's still a good ten minute walk to the nearest tube station. Breakfast is reliably good, filling and healthy.

I've been staying here regularly for 5+ years and the quality of service has remained consistent. Having just stayed here for the first time since the pandemic, I'm pleased to stay the quality has remained. Comfy rooms and bed, good WiFi, and great breakfast choices. If you're a runner, there is a great 2.5 mile loop on the doorstep that follows the Thames up to the London Eye and back!

It was a wonderful experience at the Park Plaza London Riverbank. Good location, great view, easily accessible, wheelchair accessible. Nice reception team. Beautiful room, spacious with bedside remote control for lighting, temperature as well as the curtains. It has a swimming pool, nice bar and a wonderful restaurant. The food was good. Lots of attractions nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation.

My family and I visited the Park Plaza Hotel in London in late December 2023. We opted for the 1-bedroom suite with a kitchenette and river views. The location offered splendid views of Parliament and Big Ben, and the room was generously spacious. The breakfast buffet provided a good variety of options. However, the overall cleanliness and some aspects of the service fell short of expectations. The bellhops were helpful, and the front desk staff were welcoming and polite, although we faced difficulty reaching them by phone. Unfortunately, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned; previous occupants' clothing items were left behind, there was hair on the bed, stains on the carpet, and what seemed to be mold in the bathroom. This experience was unexpected, especially considering the price and my positive experiences at other Park Plaza locations, including County Hall nearby.

I came up for 3 nights. I'm not going to come back. Just a few points - I did mention some to two members of staff but I did not hear anymore.. - A few issues with the room.. Fixed by me. The toilet flusher popped out on it's own put it back in place. Then the toilet just kept trying to refill it's self after 20 minutes I went and had a look.. I'm not a plumber but rather then calling around when it was already painful checking in downstairs.. Long queue.. Lifted lid and had a quick go at getting it to stop. The point is I mentioned this to someone who took the room number down and went off. Didn't hear anything.. Presumed as I fixed it, all was fine.. So went down to the lobby and approached two members of staff with a question in lobby, was pushed off to the long queue. So Whatsapp'ed via the chat function and told the duty manager would be contacted with feedback and also to sort out if I can have the same room on another visit. But since then I've decided I'm not interested.. No one got back to me. Bad communication. - The restaurant I spent near enough £65 on myself (final bill). Two dishes/beer and water was charged. I'm not mean just would of preferred an option. Opted for a few bits after letting myself into the restaurant, all staff oblivious to me until I sat myself down. Felt rushed to get out. - Lifts take a while. - Even things like saying good evening to the bloke on the door is met with silence. Shall be going back to Montcalm hotels in future.. 👍

Simply fantastic! Lovely hotel. Room was spacious, clean and quirky (control panel to open and close the curtains automatically, set mood lighting, etc) and the view....well, the best!! Staff were very professional, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonably priced too.

If you're staying with small kids in London then this place comes highly recommended! They have a special kids check in desk and they received an amazing welcome pack. There is a special family breakfast room with a play room nearby. Tiny robes and slippers were provided too. The incredible restaurant Chino Latino has a great kids menu so it was really nice to have an incredible meal as adults while the kids tucked into their favourites. The lady in particular who checked us in welcomed us every time she saw us and asked the kids how they were doing and if they wanted anything! The rooms themselves were nothing special. Comfortable, the decor was a bit dated (lots of positive life quotes and jarring text) and the bathroom could have been cleaner in places. Nothing that affected use but small patches of rust at the bottom of the cubicle fixtures. The soundproofing was really good however and the sofa bed set up for the kids was comfy. Really good location on the South Bank, a nice 10-15 min walk along the river and you're at the London Eye and main attractions. Same sort of time across the river to Millbank pier for the boats.

We had a superb stay at the park plaza riverbank. The room was top quality and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The hotel is also a great location, close to transport services and walking distance to many landmarks. We only went to the bar twice but the food and drinks were good and the service from Adrian and the team was brilliant, we felt really well looked after and in good hands

Beautiful hotel extremely clean. The staff were so polite nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was good near to tube station and a bus stop right outside. The room was amazing we had the view of the Thames, houses of Parliament, Big Beb, The London Eye spectacular. Would certainly stay again.

I was staying here overnight for a work event with my colleagues in London. Karina at reception was very friendly. I was really surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade to an amazing room that had a kitchen as well as a king size bed. 🙂 It’s a lovely hotel, the weather was amazing in October, my colleagues went for evening drinks at the bar but I was quite happy chilling out in my huge room. I was very happy with my stay here. ✨

I had a ceremony in the ballroom of this hotel so booked a room here too. Room was decent, complimentary bottled water was nice and cool electric curtains. however, there were a few issues. I know i didn’t pay for a view but we had scaffolding right outside our window and builders that started at about 7.30am which wasn’t the nicest wake up call. although the bathroom wasn’t dirty, it needed a bit of TLC, limescale and cracks through the sink. Wasn’t a bad experience but could do with a makeover.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! Do not STAY HERE !! The manager was rude to me when I made a request for the room And did not go out of his way whatsoever to help . They just want your money and will not give you any help ! The Staff do not seem to want to help anyone here , the communication was terrible we almost lost our breakfast slot because of misinformation! And they didn’t even apologise or try and rectify the situation ! Worst breakfast ever no table to eat it on and cheap ketchup and tea bags no fresh orange juice in a 4 star hotel I find that hard to believe !

We booked this hotel for our very first trip to London. Although we had a few issues in the beginning, the staff were quick enough to resolve and provide us with the best services.Great views , quiet area. kid friendly , good wifi and great buffet breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London with kids. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay comfortable and memorable.

Booked through work for business. Excellent hotel in a central location. Staff all very friendly. A gentleman named ‘Madhu’ at the front desk checked me and gave me all the relevant information, spent time explaining the room and how the amenities all worked.

Really nice hotel, brilliant value for money. Great location for the city but a bit annoying as underground is at least a 10 minute walk. Rooms are modern and clean, surprised when you can click a button to close / open the curtains in a standard room! The whole hotel is nicely decorated and modern, comes with a pool, but bare-in-mind quite small and thin .

We had a horrible experience staying at the Park Plaza over NYE this year. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. Our room wasn’t ready, and we were told a room had been assigned and our bags would be brought up when they were ready. When we came back hours later, our room was ready but our bags were not brought up to the room. We were told they would come up right away. We waited over 40 minutes before calling down again to ask for our bags. This made us late to a wedding party. Later that evening, we noticed there was black mold growing in the shower grout and the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. I called housekeeping and reception several times and stopped by reception in person. Every time they stated housekeeping would come by and clean it, and it never happened. I am highly allergic to mold so this is a huge problem. I was never offered a different room and eventually I gave up. Housekeeping also did not come to clean our room at all, and it took several hours, late at night, to get requested extra pillows to make me comfortable (currently halfway through pregnancy). The room is also outdated and needs updating. The bed is hard and the pillows are flat. Overall, it has been a horrible experience. This is not a 4 star hotel and I would never stay here again. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else.

We stayed here in July of 2023 and originally had 2 rooms. We requested rooms near each other as our preteen kids would be in the other room and they put them in a room way down the hall. We were not comfortable with that and our room also ended up being large enough for us so we cancelled the second room within hours of check in and were told we would receive a refund. Well we of course never did and actually have never even gotten an itemized statement from the hotel. I called and they offered us one nights worth of credit as compensation which we refused. We also tried to dispute through our credit card company and of course the hotel fought it and reversed it. So basically they stole over $2k from us for a room we never used! They say they have no evidence we did not stay in the room which is ridiculous given we were there for 5 days. We will never go back! Beware of these grifters!

Would not recommend! The location was wonderful, but horrible service! For an hotel like such, we experienced so many problems during the stay that I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Rooms weren’t ready even though we arrived well after the check in time. Luggage was left around with no accountability from the staff. Housekeeping did not clean the rooms the first day, and despite of reminded about it the next day- the rooms weren’t cleaned again. Repeated issue the third day of rooms not being cleaned and when inquired about it, it turned about that housekeeping claimed the rooms as cleaned when they really werent. No accountability was taken from the staff.

I really don’t know what’s happened to this hotel. This used to be our favourite. The cleanliness and pride of the hotel seems to have disappeared altogether. I no longer believe COVID is an excuse for poor service. The staff all look as though they need a good shake. We went to the restaurants a couple of times and almost walked out both times. Staff walk around as though they’re zombies and you have to chase them down for any kind of service. The drinks are REALLY REALLY slow at coming out, trying to pay the bill was extremely difficult. No paper to print a receipt, a mix up of another tables drinks added to our bill and then no change in tills??? It could also do with a good clean down. Crumbs were all over the seats and floor so obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the guests before. The visit the second time wasn’t any better and I felt like walking out and not paying the bill and I honestly doubt any one would have stopped us. When we tried to order room service, after the phone ringing continuously for at least 10 minutes we were told the wait was 2 and a half hour wait. Our rooms wasn’t cleaned either for the time we stayed. On checking in and checking out, we wasn’t offered any help with any bags so struggled ourselves up to the room whilst staff watched. Again, they will probably blame covid. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at this hotel again and it’s a real shame because I’ve had some lovely times here.

Gorgeous hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely and clean and the steam room and sauna are a great size. Our room was spacious and had a fabulous view. The children slept on the sofa bed - only downside was they could feel the springs in the bed. Our bed was comfortable. Love the digital instrument panel controlling the lights, curtains etc. I couldn't find a way to switch everything off completely so was concerned about energy usage/the environmental impact. There seems to be a lot of single use plastic, which is worrying. We had a wonderful stay and felt very well looked after. Will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely stay here. Great hotel, really swanky and modern with great views of riverbank. Amazing hotel - Nice & clean with a modern vibe. Situated in the best place for the city attractions. Lots of eateries near by. The only downside to this hotel in my honest opinion- I didn't think too much of the breakfast but that is down to personal choice. Will definitely visit again !

Wow what a great place, we got a deal online and booked. Stupidly I made a mistake on the booking and I phoned head office to put it right. One little word with a very helpful lady and we got it sorted out! When we checked in the lady on the telephone must have liked me as she gave us a surprise upgrade to a wonderful river view room! Thank you Park Plaza for an amazing experience!

Our stay here was lovely. Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel as a celebration for my birthday and the new little life we are expecting. My partner booked this hotel over my birthday and I must say the room was amazing. The view was even better then I imagined it. I would definitely stay here again. However after leaving this hotel me and my partner have both come up in bites from the bed/bedding. We also noticed there was stains on our bedding. We are overall happy with our experience here but hope the bedding situation is checked and hope they check their beds regularly as this could be bed bugs.

Park Plaza is one of the hotels that is a great value for money. Regardless of the room type you choose, you can be sure of the very great ambience, ultra clean rooms and ready to help members of staff.. The view from River Thames is awesome!! Do well to plan for parking when coming with your car. There are so many options available. If you are a tourist, this will be a good choice as most places you would love to visit are a stone throw from the hotel. More importantly, your feedback after your visit will be responded to. Not so many hotels do this.. This means, your experience will get better on every visit.. You don’t want to miss the full English breakfast while you are here.. You will be glad!!

Excellent location- walking distance to number of destinations. Would highly recommend using the bikes docked near the hotel to explore the city. The breakfast could have been better. Did not find it to be well managed. Florina from the staff went above and beyond to help us with a family celebration. Helped in decorating the room as well :)

This trip was booked for my Fiancé’s birthday/first trip to Europe so I called ahead to make a few requests one of which was birthday balloons in the room. I was also told during this call that my room would be upgraded. When I arrived to check in, I was disappointed to hear that there was no note on my reservation as was promised by the gentleman who I spoke to on the phone. Thankfully, Florina and her bright, joyful smile were there to turn it all around. Florina made up for everything and made us feel like we were the only guests that she was there to assist that day. On his birthday, we returned from dinner to find a bottle of champagne, a handwritten card from Florina, birthday balloons, rose petals throughout the room and swans on the bed. Thank you again Florina and to anyone else who assisted her with this surprise. Also, the two ladies in the business center who printed my Buckingham Palace tickets with their friendliness and great humor were a joy. Thank you again! Overall we found the other hotel staff to be helpful as well. We are so pleased with our experience and look forward to seeing her again when we return in the future. For anyone who is on the fence about where to stay, you won’t be disappointed with this hotel.

We chose this hotel due to its location. From first contact we have been able to have a fantastic experience. I would like to name all of the staff who have made our visit so special but I think you know who you are? If you are looking for first class service and accomodation then look no further. Thank you to all at this great hotel. Greg and Angela

I stayed at this hotel for My Birthday. I was amazed at the high standards, amazing service and staff, the rooms are so prestige, to top it up We had the river view- just Wow! The breakfast was lovely too. The staff are so welcoming, they left me a cake for my birthday. Exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the great customer service.

Beautiful hotel, booked a suite and everything was amazing. The staff are lovely and the birthday message and cake was super cute! Gave it 4 stars because the room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Will definitely be staying here again

My family has stayed in this hotel twice. Both times we ran into countless issues. The service is extremely poor... every time we called reception or housekeeping, we had to wait hours until our request was finalised. Even for simple things like water. We were staying with children and I definitely do not recommend. They charged us twice for breakfast and even though we reached out for a refund, they made the process so difficult and horrible that we decided to take back our request so we don't have to deal with their service. I must say, there are definitely much better hotels that will provide a better service and not overbook themselves.

Brilliant stay down at Park Plaza. Room was well kept. The staff took time to ensure that the special occasions we were down in London for was made the extra special. The bar area was served good range of drinks. The breakfast was delicious and the team working had everything streamlined so there were no delays. Overall really good hotel, staff were excellent will be staying there again.

First time in London and this hotel definitely left their mark with us. From the time we walked in until the minute we left, we were treated with great respect and care. The hotel itself smells amazing and gives off a very cozy-home feel. The maids do a great job at leaving the rooms sparkling! Only complaint is that our shower seemed to have a clogged drain so the water would not go down; just overflow onto the floor. We had to take super quick showers so that it would not flood the bathroom. However, so many good things to say about this hotel, so if you are thinking of staying here absolutely do it!

This is my 3rd visit to this hotel and I must say the entire staff is AMAZING! Very comfortable rooms by as well! There are two employees I would like to thank the most. Glen and Hussein! Thank you so so much gentlemen for making my stay away from home feel like home! They are both personable as well as knowledgeable of the hotel and surrounding area. Kudos gentlemen!

Great staff, great service, great location. Clara on reception is amazing. Still can't locate a missing item that was left in my hotel room, but I have no doubt it will soon be returned to me. Thank you for making our London stay incredible.

I stayed here for my birthday weekend 2021. Loved the view from the room and food. Hotel was reasonably clean and tidy. Staff seemed to try their best in helping when possible. Unfortunately I didn’t get a change to try the swimming pool. The reasons for 3 stars? (Some May think 3 is a little generous… But maybe I’ve always been bit too generous with stars in general) We were getting ready and someone walked into the room without knocking - Barely apologised, maybe she was as shocked as we were but for a staff to be wondering into rooms without knocking properly is unprofessional. Also for a hotel it makes us wonder how safe we are along with our belongings. The other reason although not fully the hotel staff fault, but we were woken by rowdy neighbours. Feel like not only do they need soundproofing a little but worth checking why smell of smoke can leak into our room? Our windows were closed so we had to blast on the air con to filter the air out at 4am. Other than that I would probably like to stay again, but I guess it’s potluck with neighbours and staff behaviour. The majority of staff were professional and made the stay worth it though it is still a pretty penny due to location.

Park Plaza did not live up to my expectation as a 4 star hotel in London. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. That's the best part about the hotel. However, the rooms are not sound proof enough. We got waken up by noises every day. People above us were stomping and neighbors were talking either very loudly or have their TV volume way up. We booked a room with a sofa bed and the springs on the sofa bed are bad and there is not enough cushion. My 11 year old complained every morning that it is not comfortable at all to sleep on and she constantly woke up at night. It is nice to have a centralized digital system to control everything, however, the air conditioning and the curtain system were not working properly in the room. The hotel staff did get the air conditioning fixed. We appreciate the lovely and helpful staff, but the hotel room itself is disappointing. I do not think we will stay here next time we visit London.

First and foremost I would like to address that the hotel itself and its location are definitely really nice. However I have never encountered such incompetent members of staff and I’ve never been taken less seriously when staying at a hotel. Not only did they overbook our room and drastically failed to place us in a new one, they also managed to lose our luggage and were of no help in retrieving it. The only phrase that we got to hear repeatedly was that apparently no one had the authority to help us out. The only one that was actually helpful and extremely friendly during our whole stay was one of the managers who took matters into his own hands once we described our situation to him. Also important to note is the fact that our room didn’t have one single window that one can open so we had to stay in a room that wasn’t ventilated at all for three days.

Honestly was the most amazing stay we’ve had in London & we always come for weekends away.. We had an executive double room with river view booked & when we came to check in we had been upgraded to a suite with a river view on the 16th floor! It was honestly stunning! The staff was very helpful & kind! The pool facilities were lovely & the room facilities were brilliant too! Also the room service too! Only negative thing I can say is we didn’t stay longer! We will be back!

My recent stay at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London was incredibly disappointing. Despite reaching out to the hotel's customer service department regarding several issues, including poor service, uncomfortable mattress with springs poking through and noise disturbances throughout the night from parties happening in other rooms, I have received no response or resolution. The lack of communication and accountability from the hotel's management is unacceptable. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel. I would caution anyone considering staying at this hotel to reconsider and explore other options. My experience has been nothing short of disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
