Great service! Reasonable prices. From outside you would not see how big actually this place is. Highly recommended for taking a little break from sightseeing here

Excellent cafe in Covent Garden, we sat inside for breakfast. This place gets busy so get here early. Breakfast served until 11.45. Staff were good and the service great. Would come again, Food was hot. Toast was a little hard for our liking.

At first I was badly seated by a lady waiter who was solid with no smile or effort to serve, maybe not in the in mood. Then for some unknown reason she was replaced by a really sweet and welcoming lady waiter. The food is really fresh and delicious specially the baked eggs and vegetables and the side of baked mushrooms. She suggested I try the Almond croissant which was exceptional. I really enjoyed it and would really recommend this place. Thank you!

I asked for a crossiant with cheese and strawberry jam. I specifically asked for it to be heated in the oven and they could take as much time as they wanted with no rush. They brought it out a minute later soggy and wet with an overcooked inside because they used the microwave. When I asked the waiter, they said it was oven. When I asked to speak to manager she told me it was done in the microwave. When a different waiter presented my bill and asked how my meal was. I told him that it was microwaved and he tried to lie to me saying it was done in the oven. So I got lied to twice in the restaurant and the soggy over heated, hard cooked center, crossiant was terrible. I highly recommend you don't waste your time.

Earlier I went to have brunch/lunch at Le Pain Quotidien whilst I was out in Covent Garden, and really enjoyed eating here for the first time! I had the Vegetarian Brunch, which included a Baguette, Croissant, 2 Slices of brown bread, Roast Tomatoes, Roast Mushrooms, Sliced Cucumbers, Soft boiled egg, Yogurt, Flat White and an Orange Juice. For £13, it was absolutely worth it and especially to sit outside in a very nice location. The staff were extremely hardworking, helpful and polite.

Came on a busy Saturday afternoon and we got a table inside straight away. The staff were welcoming and took our order quite quickly. We ordered a selection of small plates. It was 3 for £15 which was pretty good value. The smoked salmon was amazing and had plenty on the plate! The king crab was equally as delicious! Great location, friendly staff and efficient service!!

Baked eggs = literally throw all raw ingredients mushroom, onions, eggs, etc. In the dish and put in oven. Result is raw onions, raw mushroom and hard rock eggs with no taste whatsoever. Complained and was told they can redo for me but it will come out exactly the same as this. The waitress with long curly brown hair was not apologetic at all, probably get these type of complaints all the time. Shame on you Le Pain Quotidien, was a fan, no more. May be it is only this branch but there are so many other nicer places. Avoid! The other waitress was very nice, I feel sorry for her, I think it was the boss (Eastern European? Don't know what accent he had) told her off in front of us for something. Coffee was ok. Hence the 2 stars.

Tasty rustic French food. We came for breakfast and really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the world go by. The food was tasty and filling. Especially the chorizo beans.

We visited today with our 2 young children. Krystian our waiter was absolutely fabulous. We recognise that the hospitality sector has been impacted by staff shortages, but our visit today was the best customer service we have had in years. He took the time to help us and made the whole experience enjoyable. The food was wonderful and sensibly priced for London.

Great location in the middle of buzzing Covent Garden with plenty of space indoors spread over several floors and outdoors on the terrace, which makes an excellent people watching spot. The almond croissant and coffee were excellent though slightly on an expensive side (even taking location under consideration 9 pounds seemed bit much). For that price I’d also like to see a bit more personal and attentive service which seemed rushed and more self consumed instead.

Lovely rustic Café perfectly located at the market, offering a large terrace on the street, small ground floor room and 2 other rooms on the 1st floor. The place is actually massive but doesn't look like from the outside. We only stopped by for a coffee and drinks to refresh ourselves after a theatre show before moving on with our plans, but we received a welcoming service. I should also point out that all the dishes we saw being served to the surrounding tables looked delicious and everyone seemed satisfied. We definitely enjoyed our coffees. Lavatories were clean and in good working order. Shame that there's no music it would add to the atmosphere.

Went on a week day and managed to get a seat. The scrambled eggs were delicious. Also enjoyed the Caesar salad.

Great location on first floor overlooking the market square. Soft classical music playing and welcoming service. Both the tart and and the chicken stew were tasty; but the stew was more of a soup and quite watery. Good value.

Had a wonderful lunch with my parents visiting from Canada at Le Pain Quotidien. The presentation of the food was amazing !!! Very impressed. It tasted great. Healthy selection of many sandwiches, wife had the soup but did state it was a little bland. Overall a great experience and worth the visit :). I loved the smoked salmon avocado dish!

Is it this Le Pain or has the quality of all Le Pains come down? The service was very accommodating for my dietary exclusions - so that was a plus. However our food was a bit lacklustre. It seemed as if either they had run out of ingredients or had issues with kitchen staff. Or was it just a bad day? In the past i usually always ate well in any of the Le Pain Quotidien. We had a Tartine and the goats salad.

Me and my partner visited here whilst on a trip to London over the weekend! We enjoyed the food and service was extremely good - considering they were rushed off their feet! I would definitely come back for a quick affordable meal if ever I’m in the city and need a quick bite!

Really enjoyed my recent visit at Le Pain Quotidien where I found out about their brunch offerings including everything you see in the picture (food, cold & hot drinks) for less than £20 per person. The quality was nice, the atmosphere good and I had nice chats with the staff which always adds to the place. I will surely go back!

Went here on Saturday for brunch! Amazing value at £13 and very good quality food! The pain au chocolat was warm and melt in the mouth! It also included a hot drink (great oat milk latte) peach bellini, sour dough bread, baguette, salmon, granola and yoghurt and a boiled egg. Can pay extra for scrambled. The only downside was that the service was quite slow. Lovely atmosphere outside in the square of covent garden, in the hustle and bustle.

One of my favorite places when I am here! I love the coffee and the food is very fresh. Service is quick but not rushed - which is nice. Perfect location as well.

Great bakery and bar in covent garden. Slightly pricy but most places are pricy in the market. Great iced tea with peach taste. There are plenty of of drinks and food. Nice staff. There are seats outside mainly but you can also find a seat inside.

Tasty food and coffee! Good ambiance for getting work done. Their wifi was down when I went, but I was able to connect to Covent Garden's without any problem.

My traveling companion and I ate at Le Pain Quotidien for lunch by ordering a sandwich from the deli's front counter. Due to the popularity of the restaurant, we had to wait longer than expected to finally make and receive our order. The line went out the door! Our Focaccia Mozzarella & Tomato Pesto panini tasted like an artisan bouquet of fresh, juicy, creamy, tender, and zesty ingredients. Each half sandwich *just* fit in my open hand, making it the perfect size for sharing. Unfortunately, we had a difficult time finding seating outside the restaurant, and resorted to walking downstairs to an available bench. There, we savored every bite and found ourselves pleasantly full, with just enough room left for gelato!

Here's Panzanella, one of the easiest-to-cook salats. The actual composition of the salat appeared to be completely different from what was announced in the menu. No one informed me about the changes they were going to apply nor asked about allergies. The service was poor too. Glasses with stains, they didn't look clean. One of the waiters threw a check into my friends plate and never apologized. He also didn't listen to the request to bring the card reader so we had to wait ages until another waiter came to us…

It’s nice being somewhere that I don’t get recognised, being part of the dance group homage 2 rhythm and a famous DJ does have its downside too! But this quaint coffee shop sells quite literally the best scrambled egg! However not too sure about latte being served in a glass! I’m too traditional I guess!

Servise was shockingly poor. We sat outside and when it started to rain we wanted to change our seat. Even tough there were empty seats it took a long time to change place and we got wet by the rain. Our orders given from our first table were forgotten and once it came the taste of the belgian hot chocolate dissapointed me. Nesquick is much better.

Food great, we had the pumkin soup would recommend. Service is absolutely awful, being served took ages seemed like a chore, we weren't asked if we wanted drinks, just handed a menu, tea came with no saucers or spoons, honey came with no spoon, which lead to everything being sticky. We were handed the bill without asking for it. At no point did anyone engage with us, we initiated every conversation. Having said that everything we asked for came very fast. It's a lovely location.

delicious, the staff was so good i’m not from london but in the 3 months i’ve visited twice and both times was amazing, there’s seating inside and out which was amazing for someone who likes to people watch, the staff was so friendly and the food was so good we all found something we liked and the homework lemonade was amazing. they was very busy but very quick and very accommodating as it started to rain, they have heaters so you can sit outside which i did both times the last being in december.

Service was not great, I went yesterday with a friend in the early evening and the waiter, threw the menu's on the table and did not show good customer service or interaction. Apart from this the food was nice. I did expect more from Le Pain Quotidien considering the last one I went to over two years ago in Brussels Rue Dansaert, was better by far.. Apologies but I have to only rate 3 stars

I visited this Covent Garden street cafe for lunch. Delicious fresh food including a vegan baguette which I really enjoyed. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere - a great place to visit in between enjoying the shops in and around Covent Garden. Thanks for a nice lunch. Recommended!

Very unpleasant experience. Rude staff. My husband and I went there for a brunch before travel. It was supposed to be our only meal for many hours so we wanted to eat well. I asked for a toast, my husband asked for a salad and a small curry with bread and we also shared some slices of bread with hummus. When we started asking for the food the waiter started laughing at us, saying that it was too much food for just the two of us. My husband explained that we were going to travel and not eat for a while (not like he had to explain anything). We thought that maybe the waiter said that because the portions were big, but when it came it was normal to small, so it really didn't make any sense that judging. Even if we were really eating a lot, which was not the case, nobody should treat somebody like that. Every time the waiter came to our table he started laughing at us, saying that that was food for four people. They prefer people to sit there all day drinking the same cup of coffee then giving them money for that expensive ordinary food.

Since the restaurant was quite busy I waited long time to get served but the food was delicious and fresh.
