I've visited Electric Brixton multiple times, and each event is consistently thrilling. The sound and lights are great. Additionally, the venue staff is also friendly and provides excellent service.

Awesome venue. Grungy and classic at the same time. Bonus: in the concert I attendes, the staff was amazing: professional, courteous, chilled, helpful.

I like this venue, it was a first time attending a gig there, much smaller than other venues. Sound was good quality, and it was not difficult to find space, toilet facilities were sufficient as well as the bars. My one critique and that is not limited to this venue only is that of course the drinks choice is limited, bad selection of beers, all small and also super overpriced. What is it with no access to water fountain and having to pay to drink water and not allowing you to bring your own water bottle filled. It was easy to leave as well so overall great experience

Had a terrific time here. It's big and sprawling, starts filling up around midnight. There was a Club UK event that needed a bigger space really, as it got soooo packed - but the busiest place was the outdoor patio smoking/chill area - couldn't move in there by 2am

I had a great night here, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The venue looks like it could do with a bit of a tlc, but overall, it's not too bad

A great intimate venue, and very close to the tube. But I found it almost claustrophobically crowded, to the extent that the crowd was very edgy before the gig started. The thing is, this was a relocation after the desperately sad closure of the O2/Academy - and this is a smaller venue. So MAYBE it was this overcrowded to accommodate the extra numbers. I’d go back - but arrive earlier!

Very good venue - excellent bar upstairs with lots of sofas & a little mini-balcony with a padded ledge which is perfect if standing at gigs tires you. Friendly staff, great sound & sight lines. Five minute walk from Brixton tube, busses stop right outside.

Good venue, great music, excellent location! A bit too drafty for me as I felt really cold when party started but when more crowded it got better.

A nice small venue with big stage presence as it doesn't matter if you are at the front or back. Upper deck or down below you can always expect to have a decent view

This is what I would call a good indie venue. There isn't much of a focus on cleanliness, but if you're in and out of a mosh pit then cleanliness may not be high on your priorities. There is a main downstairs bit, but also two rows of balcony seating. If you don't like the front of stage feel, then the balconies are perfect for experiencing live acts. The negative would be price and product. It cost me £5.50 for a single can or Red Stripe. Maybe this is normal for London. The positive is that near the end of the gig, I went to get a beer and the bar was closed. A bit later the bar staff put a bunch of iced water out for us though so that was decent of them. It was so flipping hot in there, so iced water was a very welcome relief. I did give myself brain freeze though, but that's on me. This place is a grotty live music venue, and exactly perfect for live alternative acts. The Brixton tube station is basically opposite, but from what I could tell it can be difficult to get there from other parts of London quickly.

Small and compact, staffing at the doors was a bit all over the place but they'd been suffering some setbacks with Ticketmaster replacing postal tickets with mobile tickets and not changing the information on the system so the poor door staff had to keep searching customers by name and manually ticketing them off as the tickets weren't scanning. Bar was OK, one choice of non alcoholic beer and fairly pricy but to be expected at a gig venue. Toilets weren't pleasant. Sound was good for the show - Sevdaliza is heavily electronic so loud and bassy.

Decent size venue, with sparkling multicoloured concerts lights. There is a bar on the ground and top floor. There is a cloak room to store coats and belongings. The toilet is clean as well. Depending on who is performing there might be food vendor inside the venue as well.

My first visit and I was surprised how decent it was. I've been to tons of venues and I really liked this set up, the tiers, everything was impressive.

Theo Katzman at the Electric Brixton was nothing short of spectacular. Venue held 1500, it was snug and you could smell everyone, which wasn’t ideal but I have been in smaller spaces. Space is NOT wheelchair friendly nor level access. Cloak room costs £3 per item and down a long and winding route of steps (don’t do this if you’ve had a few). Drinks are limited, believe they only had tins of lager and red bull. They were happy to serve water by the plenty to us as it was sweltering inside. Sound was great, overall an okay experience.

1st time in Electric sinnce they renovated it. Good little venue for gigs. And couldn't gave got better, than seeing Death Cult. Great set, great gig. Good to see Jamie Stewart make an appearance.

Oktoberfest was grim. Inside on a sunny day with expensive beers and some additional table reservation system we never heard of which was it seems some additional method of extracting money. The food was nice but not a traditional curry wurst. All my crowd left 2 hours early. I think you would like this if you wanted to exist in darkness as a 25 year old. Amazing how many were dressed in Dirndle or Lederhosen. It felt like a rent a crowd. This is pretty damming for the event but compared to any other Oktoberfest it pales. The original in Munich doesn't even enter this conversation. Yuck. The band was fantastic! A saving grace that got the crowd going and entertained. Well done.

It was an electrical night. The place was fully loaded with people waiting to see our reggae legend, Freddie Mcgregor. It was worth the wait. The stage production and lighting were awesome. My only fault with the place was the usages of the air conditioner. However, when it eventually circulated, it made a huge difference. Overall, We had a memorable night

Loved this venue! Atmosphere was great, bar prices reasonable, accessible for all and staff helpful. Easy to get to by Bus, Tube, Taxi , no parking , but its not really needed with Public Transport. Attended Isolation Nation, and the whole event was friendly, a flashback to clubbing in the 90's

Without a doubt the worst venue I’ve been to. Over sold tickets. Terrible sound. Unable to see the stage. Just awful. I can’t wait for the O2 Brixton to reopen so nobody ever needs to come here again.

Extraordinarily beautiful place. Magic atmosphere, great for an electronic music festival. Ventilation system is very efficient, even though it makes the places very cold. Music was exceptional. Unforgettable experience. Cocktails are very very expensive and are so bad (my gin lemon tasted like pure Schweppes).

First of all, I think the sound was amazing. And that's the very first thing for a music venue. All other things convenient.

Old school venue - nice to see places like this still around. Not too crowded, good bar space and could see stage from pretty much everywhere. Toilets upstairs a bit small though

Saw Young the Giant here and it was great! Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful venue, tables and chairs available for sitting closer to the bar with still a great view.

Just been to see the amazing без обмежень at this great venue. Door staff were friendly, quick and efficient. The atmosphere inside was, well, atmospheric and because it is a relatively small venue, everyone has a decent view of the stage (even short arses like me). Recommend you check out the eclectic programme - there is bound to be something you like. Easy to get to and plenty of places to eat and drink around the venue.

Very nice venue, lovely staff and great sound quality! Everything was clean and everyone was very accommodating and helpful 😊 (the band was Se So Neon!)

Good medium-sized venue for night out. Sound and lighting are to a high standard, for a great experience. There is alot of smoke used. Drinks are £6/singles £11/doubles £3/cloakroom (if leaving your coats best not leave it to the last minute as que can take 30-40mins)

The floors were very sticky. But the entertainment was amazing. Very much enjoyed reggaeton night with a few exceptions. Ladies - please read. Please watch your drinks, please look out for your friends and most importantly look out for yourself. The room was visibly split 80% men to 20% women. These men rolled in packs, and were often predatory and grabby. My friend and I had to ask several cis men to keep their hands to themselves, as they attempted touching without consent. Be safe.

Went to see the PJ Morton Watch the Sun concert and had a great time. The venue is nice big enough to create a great atmosphere but intimate enough that you could stand almost anywhere and get a decent view. At 4ft 11 this was good for me.

Bloody love this venue. Had such a great time. Check-in and security was seamless. Music and acoustics were excellent. Great opportunities to get close to the stage. Mosh pit was a gourmet experience. Dwfo coming back for more shows.

A very special place. The builing takes you back in time, imagining yourself sitting comfortable in a little theatre chair, watching a play.... now we're all part of a busy life, and sometimes we need to take the anger our of our souls and minds. And that was the experience I had last night
