This
is
what
I
would
call
a
good
indie
venue.
There
isn't
much
of
a
focus
on
cleanliness,
but
if
you're
in
and
out
of
a
mosh
pit
then
cleanliness
may
not
be
high
on
your
priorities.
There
is
a
main
downstairs
bit,
but
also
two
rows
of
balcony
seating.
If
you
don't
like
the
front
of
stage
feel,
then
the
balconies
are
perfect
for
experiencing
live
acts.
The
negative
would
be
price
and
product.
It
cost
me
£5.50
for
a
single
can
or
Red
Stripe.
Maybe
this
is
normal
for
London.
The
positive
is
that
near
the
end
of
the
gig,
I
went
to
get
a
beer
and
the
bar
was
closed.
A
bit
later
the
bar
staff
put
a
bunch
of
iced
water
out
for
us
though
so
that
was
decent
of
them.
It
was
so
flipping
hot
in
there,
so
iced
water
was
a
very
welcome
relief.
I
did
give
myself
brain
freeze
though,
but
that's
on
me.
This
place
is
a
grotty
live
music
venue,
and
exactly
perfect
for
live
alternative
acts.
The
Brixton
tube
station
is
basically
opposite,
but
from
what
I
could
tell
it
can
be
difficult
to
get
there
from
other
parts
of
London
quickly.
