Came here on a whim to watch Pretty Woman. The building is quite impressive but had to navigate a fair amount of stairs inside. The show was a blast with all the memorable lines from the movie. The theatre was quite narrow and your view may get blocked if a large person sits in front of you. The lead channeled Julia Roberts well but singing was a bit too grating for me. Overall well worth watching especially for those who love the movie.

Welcome to Hollywood! I have given it 4 stars because I think the seats could be a bit more comfortable. I also felt a little squeezed in. The bar is outside the theatre, pretty standard, and usual selection of drinks. I had a great view from row D as the photos show, and the show is entertaining and compliments the film. I feel some recognition should go to the supporting acts and dancers as they did a fantastic job, adding their own flare to the show. My favourite performance was from the bell boy and Mr Thompson. So if you are fond of the film, you won't be disappointed.

Very unusual in terms of most London theatres in that entering in at street level (The Strand), the theatre actually goes down and surprisingly deep. Good views though and reasonable legroom for an average (175cm) height person like myself. We saw "Plaza Suite", which we thought was very well performed, despite some negative reviews from when it first opened. The first act (and first half) was pretty heavy going, but the second act (of three) was a delight with both Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker in tip -top form.

Came to the Savoy Theater tonight. It’s absolutely beautiful. The architecture, the balcony’s are amazing. You can see the stage from any seat and the best part the orchestra or the Stalls seating is raised by row so you can see. Saw Pretty Woman tonight and it was exceptional… so worth seeing.

The Savoy Theatre was a wonderful experience as was the performance of Sunset Blvd. The theatre is comfortable and very spacious. The total complex with the Savoy Hotel was excellent. Next door the pub The Coal Hole is a great stop that should not be missed.

Went to see Pretty Woman, an excellent experience all round, staff were brilliant and helpful. The theatre is small and stunning, clean and well looked after. We had a great view of the stage, F1 and F2.

Beautiful Art Deco theatre in the same building as the famous savoy hotel. Beautiful interior with larger seats than most theatres we’ve been in recently. Not a bad seat in the theatre and very cool considering the theatre is pretty much all underground. Well worth a visit if a show playing here catches your eye!

Great theatre - never knew there was a theatre right next door to the Savoy hotel ! It's a hidden gem. It's a London theatre so don't expect comfort? It feels like it was build for a smaller frame from yesteryear. It also gets very hot it the very top seats. Plan you escape quickly to the toilets, especially if you are a woman - the cues are crazy long

To be honest I'm not a great fan of this theatre. Even though it's beautiful, the seats are ok - some with better leg room than others, there is a good rake, so even when sitting in the gods you are still able to see the stage. However the drink prices are pretty steep as well..plus nearly every time I'd been the bar had sold out of a specific drink at interval(e.g. red wine). There are very few toilets so several times during an interval I did not make it to the toilet due to the queue length. Apparently you can buy out some sort of package to a VIP interval room that has access to a toilet but I feel spending money for the show tickets should be enough..

We had a warm welcome at the theatre entrance and were escorted to the Ambassador Lounge, where we had very good service from the team in very smart surroundings to enjoy our drinks and snacks - before the show and during the interval. The show was very good! Our seats were satisfactory but as usual the leg room is not great. The seats were very springy and connected so that if you moved, there was a risk it would be felt by others. A fun evening!

The show was superb as they all are to be honest! Well worth seeing, especially if you're a fan of the film. All of the cast were excellent and the singing was some of the best I've seen. The seats are reasonably expensive but even at the back of the stalls you can see everything on the stage. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. A better range of drinks at the bar would have been nice as they only had Pretty Woman cocktails by the bottle.

I had the chance to visit the Savoy Theatre to attend "Pretty Woman: The Musical". I am pleased to say that it is much better than the worse reviews make it seem. Though, yes, the original film's story, morals and dynamics are somewhat dated, the songs and actors are able to make it a fun night out nonetheless! The theatre itself is larger than it seems on the outside, as the main auditorium is actually underground. The view I had from Royal Circle seat K7 was good; while feeling little far from the stage at first, I was still able to clearly make out the actors' expressions and actions, and heard them clearly too. The seat was also comfortable with plenty of leg room and easy access to the bar, foyer, exits and toilets. The staff was also patient, attentive, approachable and professional.

Fairly small theatre but has great views. Sat in the stalls downstairs. The floor area is banked so you do ended up a bit higher than the rows in front. Plenty of bars on each level as well as good restroom facilities.

My wife and I went to see Pretty Woman the Musical on 30th Dec 2022. The show was very good and we enjoyed it. The Savoy Theatre however wasn't our best London west-end experience. It was far too hot and many people were complaining about this. My wife queued for the ladies toilets for 15 of the 20 minutes interlude, to find doors that would not lock, one cubicle out of order, and nothing to dry her hands on. The standard of cleanliness was poor. On the positive side, our view from Row G in the dress circle was very good. My rating would have been 5 stars as the Pretty Woman musical was very good, but the Savoy Theatre itself would have been three stars. There really is no excuse for shabby and broken toilet facilities.

This is a theatre I hadn’t been to. We were in the dress circle which wasn’t down too many stairs - the theatre seems to be underground. We were in Row N numbers 7 & 8 which were marked as restricted view - however they are absolutely fine - as long as the show doesn’t play more upward as if it did the top of the stage is hidden by the overhang. It did get incredibly hot - it would have been good to have some more air circulating inside somehow. Maybe opening the outside doors. The bathrooms are small as in all these old theatre buildings and there are not many places for you to wait when you get inside. There is bag security on the door. We saw Sunset Blvd which was great. Pictures are zoomed and regular.

Great theatre in the heart of the west end. We were privileged to see Sunset Boulevard. Amazing direction by Jamie Lloyd, with Nicole Scherzinger in the lead role. Can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful theatre. Stunning surroundings. Great view from Dress circle and Grand Circle. Staff went out of their way to accommodate. Only problem is there is no lift. But there is still provision for disabled guests.

The play we saw was the best I've ever seen. However, prepare yourself as the savoy theatre is so hot. Luckily I remembered and wore a thin t shirt. Take water to drink.

Had a great day at The Savoy Theatre to watch Pretty Woman the musical as a 50th birthday gift. All seats had very good views. We were seated in Dress Circle, seats M8 and M9 end of row seats which were great. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the musical stayed close to the movie.

Great performance on stage. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Our seats in the Grand Circle were very cramped with very little leg room. Also, during a very warm spell in London at the time, the theatre was extremely warm and uncomfortable. Bring a fan and maybe book tickets on the ground floor.

I bought the "cheap seats" to go and watch pretty woman at the Savoy theatre and if I'm honest despite reading a couple of rants about the view I had a very pleasant experience. I was dreading it but ended up pleasantly surprised and I wold purchase these seats again without a problem yes the bars block the view at times but not enough to upset me . Upper circle seats F1 F2

Amazing, very friendly staff. The show was a memorable experience, exceptional performances, the theatre was old but very well preserved. Not very easy to walk between the rows as it was very narrow. Overall a great experience!

Went to see Sunset Blvd with Rachel Tucker, absolutely brilliant. The cast were perfection. My seat was high up and the bar was in the way! Loved it...great venue, highly recommend

This is one of the smaller West End theatres. The front row of the stalls is only 17 seats across. It was 30c+ in London yesterday. I'm pretty sure there is air conditioning, but it was struggling to keep up! We headed into the stalls bar before the show. It's a tiny room! Only 4 seats and a standing wall bar to put your drinks on, so if there are seats in one of the other bars on the way down it's probably best to stop and grab them! It's a lovely theatre. Our seats were comfortable & we had enough leg room.

A bit bigger than the usual theatres which means you should select your seats. If you are too far back then the level above can obstruct your view. Staff were helpful and snacks were outrageously priced as usual but all adds to the theatre experience. Pretty Woman was a very good play. Choreography was great 👍

We watched Sunset Boulevard and Nicole Scherzinger was fantastic. Beautiful vocals, great staging and a brilliant ensemble cast. The Savoy is a wonderful venue too, especially with Christmas decorations xx

Sunset Boulevard was BRILLIANT. The theatre was relatively small compared to other West End theatres. You wouldn't feel the stage was small because the camera (projected on the big screen) followed Tom Francis outside the threatre, then in the dressing room, stairs, and corridors during the play. It was cleverly done. Nicole Scherzinger and Tom Francis were absolutely sensational - Matching Hamilton - 10 out of 10

My friend wanted to see Pretty Woman and to be honest I wasn't really looking forward to it as I did not know what to expect. The movie is obviously not a musical so how was this going to work right? This musical blew my mind and any doubts I had just disappeared. We had great seats, second row so we saw everything. The actors, band, set, stage and costumes was simply amazing! I was so engrossed and they captured all the scenes perfectly. The opera scene was my personal favourite it was so marvellous and authentically done it and made me want to see an opera immediately. Having the audience on their feet singing along and dancing to the Pretty Woman theme song at the end was a lovely close to the show.

We just have seen a musical. Very good! The performance was better than expected. It is a lovely theatre however there is not a lot of room and chairs are not the most comfortable either.

My fave theatre in London. Comfy seats and good views from the majority of seats. The theatre itself is beautifully decorated and the staff are lovely

Incredible experience watching Pretty Woman at the Savoy. Beautiful old theatre with stunning art deco features. Small and intimate theatre so you feel very close to the stage. The performance was incredible and the cast had us laughing, crying and clapping along from start to finish! Highly recommend catching a performance here!

Great evening out with a group of 15, impressive theatre, great show, fantastic performances. The rendition of As if we never said goodbye was so good it made me cry.
