Can get a quality lunch with coffee here with satisfying change from a £10 note. Service is polite but slow, & they must do something about the flies on the window, of which I saw at least 3.

We used to come to this cafe every weekend, the cooked breakfast is good quality but the staff have changed and now seem to consist of lazy moody girls. The service is so slow, I'm guessing so these lazy girls can get rid of regular customers so that they have less to do. So sad when the customer service from Sainsburys supermarket is so good. So you've lost two more regular customers and our full weekly shop.

Negative reviews about service don't matter much to me… all I care about is the fact that I can buy stuff to eat from the actual shop, and then use this as a seating area to eat my food before I do my full shop! So full points from me on this one.

my experience at Sainsbury's cafe at New Cross was awful, I had already queued for 15 mins otherwise would have left. Slow service . No manners. Dirty . I guess the worst service you could ever get anywhere. They are better off renting it out to Starbucks or Costa. Decoration is dark and grey and very uninspiring - very disappointing. Will never go again

Sainsburys cafe at New Cross is staffed by zombies. Shuffling about, dead expressions on their faces, mumbling + bumping into each other. A world in slo-mo. No please or thank you. Trays of food on all tables. I guess the worst service you could ever get anywhere.

Sunday roast was being advertised everywhere on the screen but they didnt have it. Tip: if you dont have foods that are advertised on the menu screen , would be a good idea to take it off screen.

Lovely quiet cafe in a big Sainsbury's, great service from friendly, wonderful staff this afternoon.

No meatfree sausages... shame there's not a supermarket nearby eh?
