This clinic has been training my sister as a psychology nurse and she comes home every night crying because she's being racially abused. This clinic is pushing radical ideologies that demean black and white people equally. She's too scared to say anything because they've made it very clear to her she has to accept these dangerous whacky and illiberal ideas or else. Disgrace

I can't help but think the 5 star reviews are fake/bots. This is an appalling place. It absolutely needs to go under investigation. The staff here are bullies on power-trips, who were clearly attracted to this line of work because it allows them to have power over traumatised people. They are not people who have any interest in helping anyone. I can't imagine how many vulnerable people who need help have been let down and further hurt by this practise.

I went for therapy and it was beyond useless. My dad and sister had just died and when I cried the therapist cruelly asked me what I was crying for. I would have got better advice from the lady on the checkout at Sainsburyโ€™s.

Been waiting over 2 years on the waiting list for the gender clinic, even though they said it would only take 18 months, and when I finally get through they just ignore me. Woman I spoke to said she would send an email with referral details onto the adult clinic, it's been about 3 weeks and she still hasn't sent it. We've emailed all the emails on your website and got no respone, called all the numbers and just got sent to voicemail which never got answered, and I can't call the woman back because she decided to call me with no caller ID. It'd be nice if you people could actually care about your patients and respond to them. I've been waiting 29 months and if you're not going to bother communicating, I might as well just go private. Update October 2021: Now over 3 and a half years and still nothing. Iโ€™ve now been moved to ANOTHER longer waiting list, because now Iโ€™m over 18 and they can no longer treat me at this one. Absolutely ridiculous.

Was seen by a totally incompetent trainee psychiatrist 'Lawrence Congdon' for months that did nothing. Eventually I realised what a sham it was and emailed explaining how I had not even been put on the waiting list for therapy, or given a diagnosis. They were basically pretending that seeing this trainee was their therapy service. Was referred to the consultant psychiatrist, who was so rude as to take phone calls in the appointments. Again wouldn't offer me any help, despite severe self harm and suicidal tendencies, possible borderline personality disorder, bipolar and depression. Eventually I asked to be discharged and self referred to another service, after all of six months - still without even any diagnosis. They blocked my referral, and refused to discharge me. The psychiatrist 'Kim Raftopolos' called up trying to convince me to go on medication. I asked how could I go on medication without any diagnosis? Apparently 'just to take the edge off' - whatever that means. Tried to get discharged again and they never responded. Haven't heard anything at all since then, all of two months - shows what care they had for me. The receptionist Cherelle Remy also cares much more about her hair and nails than anything else. Good luck if you have an appointment at 09:00 - she doesn't ever turn up until 09:10, so you can never sign in, or anything, even when she tells you by email that you have to turn up at 08:50 to do the paperwork! She treats all the mental health patients like untouchables - like she's afraid that she's going to catch a mental health disease by talking or looking at anyone. And all your correspondence goes through a shared email address. Brilliant for confidentiality! And despite everything that I have said, they haven't even logged my email as a complaint. Pretty terrible really. Like so many other mental health services in the country now, they spend all their money and time trying to 'show' that they are functional by having all these letters, names, appointments, logos, etc etc, but actually do not offer any help at all. Shams, in other words. The NHS now is not a towering healthcare institution - 'the envy of the world' as it was called. It is just a huge billboard with an NHS logo on it, from the front seeming like still, yes, it is the envy of the world, but behind this billboard everyone has deserted it, there is nothing, no help, no professionals, and it is only a matter of time before this billboard collapses into the ground and everything is exposed for what it really is - nothing.

Look at the only time they have responded to the remarks left on here. I wonder why they ignored all the other comments. Between advocating CRT and harming children...what else is left?

They're being sued soon for trying to give Covid jabs to children, claiming that those who kids don't need to give consent (in support of the government lie), which is an outright lie. The legal case Bell Vs Tavistock clearly states that experimental medicine cannot be given to children without consent.

Can't begin to state how bad they treat people, both patients and others. Dismissive, insistent and stubborn. Assistant Director of IM & T is one example. They keep falling short of there own clinical targets, how can we have confidence in them with anything else.?

Saw staff that came out to visit patients instead of going to the clinic. Miserable sessions where boundaries weren't respected, staff just sat and stared at me instead of talking, and repeatedly tried to convince me I'm not really trans and just confused. My report from them was full of complete lies and things I didn't say.

Decades of pseudoscience whether it be in their treatment in the satanic panic and repressed memory scandals of decades past, or the gender identity pseudoscience scandals of more recent years.

Shut it down, clearly run by insane people. Leave kids alone. 21 age limit should be enforced for gender affirming surgery. It is a phase that most people will grow out of.

The Trust's behaviour towards Dr David Bell should make any right thinking person more than suspicious of the current management.

Not good at all , ive been waiting since 2016 and never got an appointment , in the end they had to email my GP to give her permission to prescribe me estrogen and an anti androgen , the problem i have is how am i going to ever get my GRS on the NHS if im not seen by a GIC specialist ? and now this clinic is closing i will end up having to go to another GIC which could take years , it is not right and as a tax payer who is in full time employment i think now there should be an option not to pay NI as why are we paying to the NHS for no service in return ?

Anti white. Extremely racist pushing a idea not pushing education. They also disfigure the youth. Very sad

The quality of doctors is very poor. The waiting list is very long. They should resign and leave the job to more qualified people.

๐Ÿ˜  The night nurses are terrible they treat you like a subhuman. Many patients go ignored and neglected and I canโ€™t even imagine how many people die because of their negligence.
