Going here was a mediocre experience but I still left with a full stomach. Upon coming here it was very easy to get seated and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. We did not get our drinks till after our appetisers came despite ordering our drinks first. The staff here fixed that quite quickly and got it sorted out. They did forget one of our meals later in the evening too, but again they sorted it out. But I can't fathom the margarita glass we got which was filled with ice in a glass you'd get when asking for water. It made it not worth the money. We got the dish for two people called "favourite" which gave me a variety of their food and the meal was alright. It was a good way to get a variety of meals; they do offer vegetarian and vegan meals as well. To get up there there was a lot of stairs so I am a bit curious about the wheelchair accessibility there. Perhaps I didn't see an elevator, but I did not see one.

Had a nice evening out at wahaca canary wharf. We went for dinner and hadnt booked but there was plenty of tables free. Food and drinks were really nice. Really liked the buttermilk tacos. Our server Isabel was very friendly and helpful. Great service and we will be back.

Great place, nice staff. Food is so delicious, especially the steak burrito, but I wished it was spicier. Love that you can pay without calling the staff and splitting the bill couldnt have been easier!

We tried the set menu for two at Wahaca, and it was a pleasant experience. The food provided great value for what we paid, and we were surprised by the generous portions. However, there was a notable hiccup during our visit. They couldn't serve us margaritas because they'd run out of tequila. Running out of a key ingredient is a slip for any restaurant, but it's particularly glaring for a Mexican place that boasts an extensive margarita menu.

The food was great! The food was really tasty and really quick, can’t fault it. The staff seemed all fairly nice and efficient as well, it was a bit odd when we first arrived that one of the staff said she didn’t know where to seat us and the manager had to do it. The atmosphere was standard for a lunch time. The only thing that let the experience down is that the coffee we ordered was luke warm and when they said they would make another (bare in mind we just asked for it warmed up) it was a good 10+ minutes before we were told they had run out of coffee. Then had to wait further for another drink. The prices are reasonable and you get a good portion size of very nice food. We enjoyed it and would still go back!

Good Mexican food and casual ambience. Overall good menu, taken out one star as onions in our crab tostada's were not fresh.

Very happy with the quality of the service and the food from Wahaca. When we visited the restaurant was fairly busy, but we were presented with a table quickly, the food order was taken promptly and without fuss. The dishes arrived in a short amount of time and all were clearly freshly prepared, were hot and tasted great. Looking forward to visiting again.

The restaurant is well presented, the atmosphere chilled and friendly. Me and my friend had a taco Fiesta while drinking and chatting. Probably more a kind of relaxed chilled dinner with friends rather than a date. Sabrina and the other waitresses were friendly and very helpful. Good atmosphere, great food, very flavorful. So yes, "taco fiesta" is definitely recommended at a proper Wahaca experience. 👌

Nice restaurant for authentic Mexican food. I found a new way of giving ratings to a restaurant, which is describing their toilets. This restaurant maintains their toilet and it means the do care of their customers. Only one problem I found is staffs needs more training to serve customers more efficiently.

Back to our favourite Mexican restaurant in London. We wanted to try out the new additions to the menu. A quick walk from the office, we went to the Canary Wharf branch of Wahaca. The restaurant was rather empty on an early January evening, and yet the service was very slow. We had to wait almost 15 minutes to get a server's attention. After placing our orders though, the food was served quickly and the server was friendly. The new additions on the menu were fantastic. However one new item that stood out, but we didn't order was the Wahacamole. The new version of a guacamole made with fava beans and not avocados. The table next to us was offered Wahacamole tasters, but we were nt. Perhaps, they were regulars to that restaurant. We would never know. If you can overlook the slow service, do go to this Wahaca for good Mexican food.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. It’s nicely decorated too. The staff are friendly but the food is not worth the visit. The nachos were lovely but for ‘sharing’ the portion was too small. Plus the chicken in my tacos were burnt. I couldn’t get a hold of a staff member to complain due to the QR code payment scheme. I probably won’t return.

Great food and pretty affordable. They have a wide range of vegetarian options which I love - their loaded nachos and black bean quesadilla are really good! They also have a good range of cocktails. I wouldn’t recommend their churros, though, I’m not sure why but the batter felt off. Overall, however, this is a really good place to dine, especially if you’re also going ice skating later at the rink near by.

Loved the experience! Felt that the portions we slightly small, so one needs to order more than one portion. The food is absolutely scrumptious! Must try! Ambience is really good! Ideal location near the tube station

Went on Wahaca on a Friday evening with a friend. We did not book, however they found a table for us. Service is very fast so by the time we seated the waiter was already asking for drinks. We order drinks and food. Cocktails are quite cheap (8.50£) however the alcohol in them is minimum. The brought us a drink that we did not ask for and when they realised they brought us the correct cocktail and left the other one on the table for us to enjoy. In the bill they did not charge us for the mistaken cocktail. Guacamole was super tasty; that delicious that we ordered twice. I had meat free tacos and chocolate churros as a dessert. When you order tacos, they serve you two tacos. You could think it is not enough, but they are quite fully, if you are not super hungry of course. Everything was really good and tasty, however I found it difficult to digest as the day after I still felt the taste of the food...maybe too onions?! You pay the bill through the phone, you scan a bar code on the table and the bill appears on your phone. You have now the option to fully pay for it or split it.

I came here last week with my partner and the food was phenomenal. We were there for an early dinner at around 17:00 which meant that the restaurant was fairly empty. They recommend 2-3 small plates per person so we ordered 4. It was a lot more filling than we expected and since we shared, we were each able to try all four dishes. My personal favourite were the beef gringa tacos. They also have a huge variety of non-alcoholic drink options that aren’t just the normal supermarket sodas. Sheila was our server and she was super friendly and welcoming.

My goto chain for good mexican eats. Must go for both vegan and meat mexican options. Best for its tacos though their bowls are not far behind. Service is quite fast and so is checkout.

Overall, decent. Had the £23.50 (£47 for two people) 'Favourites' Set Menu. Loved the Crab Tostada, Buttermilk fried Chicken taco... Only dish I didn't like was the Chorizo Quesadilla - you could barely taste any chorizo in it! They no longer do the Wahaca Mule cocktail (take on Moscow mule) - which was an awesome cocktail. Shame! Otherwise decent! Would go again.

Best Mexican Food, and liked the ambience and I am blown away by the food and service. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the menu offered a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes. I started with their homemade guacamole, which was absolutely delicious and had just the right amount of spice. For my entree, I ordered the buttermilk Chicken which were bursting with flavor and had a perfect balance of tender chicken, tangy sauce, and melted cheese. The presentation was also beautiful, with colorful garnishes and a generous portion size. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience.

Overall food here is pretty good. My favourites and repeated orders are the pork pibyl tacos, the cheese and beans quesadillas and the chorizo quesadilla. This weekend we decide to order the beef burrito. It was really dry, tasteless. My friend that order as well requested tabasco and we were Waiting, when I enquired another waiter he said that they didn’t have. That he could order one of the salsas from the menu that it would need to pay. It came to us how a mexican restaurant would not have tabasco? Also, they have the michellada that supposedly has tabasco. Not sure about this. At least when the waitress asked our feedback about the meal, I said honestly about the burritos and the salsa and she offered a dessert on the house. We got some churros with caramel that was really nice. So 4 star review due to good customer service.

Really nice and cozy place for Mexican dining! We got our table even though we didn’t have a reservation, ate really good food and drinks (Passion Fruit Margarita ❤️) and had a wonderful service being served by Juan. Highly recommend this place when you are visiting Canary Wharf!

Got takeaway from their food truck in front of the ice rink! The portions are small but great tasting, especially the free range chicken bowl! Very nice sour cream and green rice, option to double up on the protein. Friendly service and plenty options to customize. Highly recommend to visit!

Juan was a great server, he went above and beyond for our table! Food was good but service was unforgettable! Good value too!!

Not usually a fan of chains but Wahaca Canary Wharf got it right. The nachos we're light with minimal cheese overkill, and the tacos were great. Reasonable prices and I'd probably go back - just wouldn't tell anyone next time

Amazing experience! Had to bring a group of 19 people for a work dinner, and the service was absolutely fantastic! Portions were quite filling, and I chose the chicken rainbow bowl (those were the best smoked beans I've had in my life) Definitely coming back! And I'd recommend the vampire juice: it's very fresh and uplifting 😋😋

I absolutely love Wahaca’s vegetarian Taquitos (which can be made vegan) and their tostadas! They’re delicious! I used to enjoy their cheese and bean quesadillas too until I found out that they’re cooked on the same grill as their meat quesadillas. I stopped eating them due to cross contamination issues, though I wish they can have a separate grill for vegetarian food and can make the veg quesadillas there - that would be perfect. Their horchata drink is also really nice. Not too fond of the pinacolada though as it’s hardly any drink and mostly only ice. Hope they improve this too.
