Lovely Turkish place with clean environment and great food. Price is about £30 per person. We ordered a bit too much, highly recommend the sharing platter.

A welcoming Turkish restaurant at a busy location. Came here for lunch it was a little quiet. Service was speedy. I had ordered my fave the lentil soup it was spot on fresh and brought back memories of my holiday in Istanbul. We also ordered the Pide which also tasted fantastic. Fresh bread and salad was served along side the food. We finished my our meal with baklava and Turkish tea. Would definitely come again.

We went to have dinner with friends in the last week of March. We ordered a portion of hummus and baba-ganoush to start with the bread. The hummus was extremely fresh and tasty. For the mains I had a portion of Adana kebab. The meat was juicy and tender. It was tasty with the spices. The dish was served with rice and roasted tomatoes which were a nice addition alongside the meat. Overall, really recommend the Adana kebab. It’s a good quality food at decent price in London.

Being hungry at 12 am in the morning we walked in to this restaurant and didn’t regret it! Service is very nice and food … fresh! Side salad, hummus and tzatziki plus warm pita bread is free! They serve it after you order. Menu is short, which is good ! Dishes full of flavour and freshly chopped veggies! Place is not expansive at you can have a nice meal under the £30 with drinks!

This food is better than most of the restaurants I visited in Istanbul. It was truly delicious and authentic Turkish food. Not only do they serve the kebabs and rice, they also provide bread on the side with delicious sauces. Everything I had on my plate was delicious. The service, however, was quite stunted when I visited. They had too many tables to take care of.

A work colleague recommended that we visit Efes, and it was a decision we did not regret. The place was clean and inviting. The starters were fresh, and the food was great. The cocktails were brilliant. I will definitely visit again. The only downside is that I wish the waitresses and host wouldn't stand in a line/ row at the bar/ grill. My friends and I felt a little pressured to finish the food and leave. Maybe a better seating would have helped, but besides that, all was well.

This restaurant is amazing, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and feels very comfortable inside. We ordered the Special mix Grill which is enough for 4 people. I was in a group of 3 and there was plenty to eat. The food was nicely cooked and the taste was delicious. Prices are fair and I would 100% recommend Efes 👍🏼

It was our first time. For a Sunday it was very busy which is always a good sign. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who offered us a sit of our choice. The menu was very well presented and we get to see what the food looks like before you order. We decided on the mixed grill which was a mountain of different kebabs.. Our favourite was the kofta and chicken wings.. Everything tasted great. We had so much that we had two big containers as our take home. Price wise, it was very well priced for the huge portions. I will be surprised if anyone leaves this place hungry!! Will definitely visit another of the branches again...👌🏾

Great shish cooked over hot coals, with fabulous service all round especially from the head waiter. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Efes Restaurant, situated in East London, offers an exceptional Turkish culinary experience. Conveniently close to our hotel and within walking distance of landmarks like the Tower of London, Efes boasts delightful kebabs, mezes, and desserts. What sets it apart is not only the scrumptious food but also the welcoming staff and management who ensure a memorable dining experience for all. Our family, including two kids, thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Turkish excellence in London.

I must say the food was delicious. From the chicken and lamb kebab to the calamari. While I was in London for vacation, I was looking for late night dining and am glad I chose this place. Food quality was great, customer service amazing. I totally recomment this place.

Fresh food. Plenty of vegetarian options, but you have to be careful if you are sensitive to gluten. The food is fresh. The cold meze plate includes 5 items and it’s a perfect starter for 2-3 persons.

I had a wonderful dinner with my friend at this restaurant. We shared a platter of mixed kebab with rice and was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor from the spices. This restaurant is a gem in London. The food is high quality and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here and try more dishes.

Amazing food, amazing service! We were very hungry and we were trying to find a pub that served food at 9:30 PM - no one seemed to be serving food at that hour! We kept walking until we came across this restaurant by chance. We were super lucky! Highly recommend dining there. Also, try their Turkish wine!

Very cool Turkish cuisine Service was good and food was well priced for good portions! They get pretty busy so I would recommend making a reservation. We had the mezze platters and the wraps. Both were very good. I would go back to try the deserts and other items on the menu.

The food is wonderfully fresh, extremely well cooked, and most importantly tastes amazing. Staff great, place spotless. And all very reasonably priced. Have now visited a second time, and even better.

Small but bustling restaurant located at the center of Whitechapel. Food was good, portions were smaller than what you'd typically see at Turkish restaurants. Unfortunately the sauces (flavour profile was lacking) and mocktails (no mint in any of our drinks) were lacking. Price is what you'd typically pay at a good Turkish restaurant. For those not familiar with Whitechapel, parking is a nightmare, especially recently with changes to parking restrictions. We went at a busy time but were lucky to get seats with little wait time. I'd look to reserve seats in future.

Went as part of a group of 25 work colleagues, friendly staff and very tasty food. We had the set menu at £35 was a little expensive for what we had. I had the mixed shish main course with a few chips. Both the chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavour. Would have given 5 stars but for the price and a couple of colleagues only getting their main course after most people had finished.

Went for dinner and tried a couple of platters, Aubergine, Turkish coffee and kunafe. Food was tasty and well presented, service was good too!! Not really spacious upstairs especially if you order a lot of food but downstairs seating was only for larger groups which was much nicer. Kunafe wasn’t the best I had !! Overall a good experience!

Never dine in the hotel, but always seek out local eateries. What a place! Warm welcome with the best Tea I have ever experienced. The food (even takeaway) is second to none. Can't wait to revisit.
