So it's 11:30 on a Thursday. The restaurant is split into two parts that look pretty much identical but one is called a 'garden' and the other is just normal and overly busy in comparison. Apparently you can't have drinks in the garden. As it's quiet and there's nobody around in the garden you'd think having a drink for 30 minutes wouldn't upset the delicate balance of the ecosystem. I doubt it's the servers fault but just a terrible policy. Not asking you to bend over backwards here. It's dumb, just my opinion.

A fine station pub! The Signal Box is a large, modern, busy London rail station pub, upstairs at Euston station. Lacks a bit of character perhaps with the constant change of clientele. A word for the staff, cheerful, happy and helpful! A fine combination. The beer, both cask and keg was varied and well kept. A most enjoyable pint was had. I suspect rush hour can get a bit manic, that's what makes it fun. Also, for the travellers, the station announcements are relayed inside so you don't miss your connection. Good fun.

Came in with my daughter before it was time to get the train. Waited for a table a tall female waitress led us to a dirty table and put down a menu I pointed out this is not clean. she then told us to go to the bar area, then walked off , tables were dirty. We then asked another waitress who led us to another dirty table and again I had to point out it hygiene, she then took us to a nicer table, left a menue and went. We sat & waited 15min!! Trying to get their attention. 2 waiters actually saw my daughter putting her hand up and walked off. We decided to go elsewhere to get a bite to eat and drink. On the way out I asked for the name of the manager who happened to start her shift. I explained what had happened she said she will check the cameras and apologised as she also saw if wasn’t even busy so could not say her staff were rushed off their feet. Staff there can’t be bothered by the looks of it and have not customer service skills. They should find themself another are of work. I would not even have given them a 1 star rating, that is only for sitting down. If you have had similar experiences pls put them down.

First time coming here before getting onto a long train journey, thought I would try something new and I wasn’t disappointed! Was greeted by this lovely gentleman, Hamza, who took my order and was very informative when I asked questions and polite when taking my order. He really made my experience in this bar/restaurant one to remember and certainly put a smile on my face for the day! Not to mention, the wide variety to chose from and exceptional food, amazing service overall! Will definitely be back whenever I’m stopping through Euston!

Good Fuller's pub upstairs at the eastern end of Euston Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I last visited. A train departures screen in the bar makes it an ideal spot for a quick pint before your train. The pub opens opens at between 7:30 and 9:00 in the morning depending on the day.

Good quality food and fast service, a pricier option but you get the chance to sit down and enjoy some sit down time. Good atmosphere and suggest getting there early!

Nice chic pub on 1st Floor of Euston. Reasonably priced and great before a journey up north. Useful when the outdoor tables are not in use.

The food is ok, my egg royal wasn't bad, however the service was the worst I've seen in years. Out of the 5 servers that were involved with our table, only one knew what she was doing. The others were bringing food without cutlery, bringing things that were already on the table, not emptying the table from the previous customers repeatedly then partially emptying etc. My capuccino did not arrive within 20 mins so I asked the one server I had realised was actually completent to have it for me to go, and she had it in 30 secs. There is enough waiting staff, they just don't have any system or training.

Sat down, was immediately asked what I wanted before I even took my coat off. Can't really complain there, service is prompt. Place was empty but I wasn't allowed to sit at a quiet table out the way because it was booked. It was empty the entire time I was there. Anyways, menu popped up, food seemed extremely expensive. Ordered eggs Benedict and a coffee, which cost around £19. Meanwhile listened to the only other customers complaining that their food never arrived and they had sat there for an hour. My food turned up quick enough but it's really bad food. Poor quality, cold and tiny portion. Clearly frozen and warmed up, but the eggs themselves were alright. Service was fine for me but for everyone around it me it seemed terrible. This isn't a good place to eat, which is a shame as the atmosphere is really nice. Prices are mental and the food quality is abysmal. Avoid it.

We missed our train when we were 3 minutes early but were allowed on so we decided to relax and calm down by having a drink and a bit of food . The signal box was very clean with lots of space and plenty of tables so never to full !! We found a table and went to order the service was very friendly and efficient we got our drinks and the food came quickly as was just what we needed ,will definitely go back next time in London the prices were quite reasonable for a service place 👍👍

Our 2nd visit to the Signal Box. First class breakfast, exactly what we wanted, even though it wasn't on the menu. Veggie sausage and egg toasted muffins. Best veggie sausage I've ever tasted. They did the same for us last year too. Very friendly chefs and thank you to Barbara for looking after us. We will be back, next time we return to London. Couldn't fault the service

I enjoyed the menu choice and the food was delicious. However, I was surprised at how poor the service was. Some of the waiting staff members did not seem to care about service quality. One waitress spilled some soup (on a tray) and gave quite a nonchalant apology. When I asked another waitress what a particular menu item was like, the response was 'I don't know, I don't eat vegetables like this.' My table partner waited for a dessert for a very long time. After several reminders, a waitress informed us that her colleague had just given our dessert to another customer in error (our dessert did arrive shortly after). My table partner used the toilet facilities and they were functioning fine. Less than five min. later I tried to use them too, but two of the waiters who were stood at the toilets door informed me that all restaurant toilets are out of order and I should use the train station toilets on the lower floor instead. It seemed unlikely that all the toilets had gone out of order within less than 5 minutes (there was no sign on the door or visible issues). It appeared to me that the staff members wanted to avoid additional cleaning work. I also witnessed some problems at a neighbouring table. The wrong food item was served. The customer complained and the dish was eventually replaced. However, when replacing the item the waitress also took away another plate which had not been finished with (as voiced by the customer some time later).

We ate here while waiting for our train. We had the leek and potato soup and it was delicious. All the staff were very friendly but a special thank you to Gean for making us feel so welcome and spending time making sure we were happy with everything 😊

Nothing special, but you can get a seat while waiting for a train and something to eat that is not a sandwich

My wife and I do not normally provide feedback but felt compelled to do so tonight. Our server this evening was Niki - what a brilliant job he did managing the customers and staff at an extremely busy time. He ensured that customers were prioritised accordingly and that those trying to jump the queue were challenged appropriately and fairly. He provided both clear guidance and support to other members of staff to ensure customers received good service and that they did not leave not paying their bills (which a few attempted to do). He had good rapport with customers, built relationships, and nothing was too much trouble. He did not stop working the 2 hours we were present ( unlike other staff who had to be told to do things rather than being proactive. It is not only us who felt he did a very good job, as many others thanked him for his service. Not sure whether he has a management role, but clearly demonstrated competence to do so. Thanks Niki.

Would love to rate the food, however after waiting an hour and a half for 2 bowls of chips we never received a thing. We did watch many people come in after us order, eat and pay. Absolute joke of a service and not 1 single apology. Should have just walked out and not paid for our drinks. Would not recommend at all...

Just wanted to thank the lovely staff at The Signal Box, especially Sonia! There was some mishap with my order which did not get through before the kitchen closed. As a result, the staff went above and beyond to offer me a drink and some chips (and even turn on the TV) as compensation. Great to see such human customer service.

This venue should be so much more, I visited with my wife and we ordered a tea and Latte with toast for each of us. Tea and coffee came after 15 minutes no spoons or sugar/ Sweetner. I have to go around the venue searching for this! Then eventually 2 slices of toast arrive no cutlery or butter, again i have to go looking only to be scolded by what appeared to be a manager! When i eventually got the butter and knife the toast was stone cold. Not a great overall experience, this could have been so much better if the staff had been attentive, perhaps some more training is required here Fuller’s.

Lovely food, good portions and the waiter gave us our coffee’s on the house due to them not arriving before our meal. The pub is perfectly located if you are waiting for a train at euston.

Full English breakfast for £15.50, must be worth it right! Wrong, some bacon fat slithers, cold (really cold) beans, hash browns and tomato, the sausage was the only 'warm' bit. When I went to pay I was asked if I enjoyed it, I said no it was cold, the weighter just laughed and walked off.

It's a little pricey, but what you kind of expect in a train station. It's good they have a 15 min guarantee on the food arrival, so good if you only have a small window before a train. The food is good quality, and portions are okay.

I was waiting to catch my train to Scotland and Signal Box was very convenient in that regard. The staff are polite and the service is incredibly quick even on a weekend night, which is just what one needs when in a hurry. Bonus points as well for the excellent wifi, as I needed to work at the same time. Prices are possibly somewhat high compared to a standard pub but this is Central London and in a station as well, so definitely recommended.

I can’t say how nice the staff were to be and my 3 year old. I’ve been coming here for years as a quote spot tucked away in the station - but today I had some of the best service ever. All the staff were tremendous and went above and beyond. Thanks all!

Rail station pubs are usually shocking. They should send their managers here to take a look. Friendly and welcome staff as soon as you walk in. Thats not too much to ask but hardly anywhere can manage it. It’s also a really nice environment. Thanks for a welcome breather before our connecting train

We were too early for the first class lounge so opted for a quick drink here (as it’s opposite) and didn’t bother going back to the lounge!! The staff were all very welcoming and efficient. This place was immaculate and comfortable, we ended up ordering food which was equally fantastic, tasty and fresh. Well done to the whole team. We will be back!

This was my first visit to The Signal Box, as I was heading up to Carlisle, but needed breakfast. I was most impressed by the quality of food, and the team member who served my meal, but have to say that Mustafa, who took my order, was about as rude and obnoxious as it was possible to be. Definitely an insult to the rest of the team! My 5* rating is for my experience with the food and rest of the team, as I see no reason to penalise everyone by one bad apple. The English breakfast that I ordered, was done to perfection, and with the pot of tea, made the meal a great experience. Sadly, when I came to pay, Mustafa was his unhelpful, rude self, and barked at me what I had to pay. No bill was presented (although when asked, I begrudgingly got one) and if it wasn’t for the fact that the service charge went to everyone, I’d have refused to pay it. To the managers, Mustafa is a real insult to the great service offered by others, and unless he changes his attitude, you’ll loose custom. That aside, I’d return but find someone else to take my order.

Great lil place to stop by at Euston train station. Nice decor and cosy feeling. Delicious pub food with great choice of drinks which all came quick. Prices are reasonable. Staff very polite and helpful. I like how you can order from your seat and don't have to queue up at the bar. Only criticism would be the menu is alil limited but I guess its required to make the service much quicker which is more important in my view. Will deffo stop by when nect in Euston

Food was lovely, (and thank you kindly for swapping out bacon for sausages, much appreciated!) Keep in mind you need to seat yourself and order at the bar, the woman working close to the doorway, that myself and some others asked if it was table service or not was rather rude and abrupt in answering. The other staff I interacted with were friendly and professional though.

Friendly staff. Easy to order via the app or direct at the bar. Good variety of beers, though a pity not all were available during our visit.

Nice place to stop for a drink before the train trip back up North. The chap with the flat cap and beard behind the bar was superb, despite stock levels being rubbishly low, great job fella 👍

I would like to thank the staff that were on duty last night for above and beyond service. My train was cancelled so we popped I for a drink to wait..I knocked mine all over the table ..the lovely man cleaned it all up and even replaced it without being asked.and was so gracious. it was my fault. They were so lovely. Will definitely return next time we are in London!
