Stars Gym is where I felt safe to continue my fitness journey since the pandemic started. Boxing, Muay Thai and HIIT are my favourite classes. I even got out of my comfort zone, and some days I started training early in the morning; that’s how much I like going. The staff is highly skilled and friendly, and the gym’s location it’s incredible. You have to see it for yourself.

This gym stole over £875 from me. I was a member before covid, paying by direct debit. When lockdown started I emailed asking them to freeze my account, and they replied that they had. However, just a few days later they covertly unfroze it and resumed charging me my monthly fee. By the time I realised what was going on they had taken over £875, and when I got in touch they refused to refund me, even though they had all the emails and could see I had not been back to the gym since then. Zero decency or morals. Considering small claims.

I’ve been a member of the gym for 1.5 months but ultimately decided to leave due to a few reasons which I will list below. I’d like to preface this review by saying that although I’ve had issues with the gym, it is a great boutique-style gym and would be suitable for a lot of people. A few things that stand out about this gym is that it is always clean/tidy, the staff are friendly, and the management is receptive/open to feedback. They also offer martial arts classes and other group classes that are led by friendly trainers. Another unique thing about this gym is that most of their machines are cable machines by a brand called freemotion. There is a separate free weights section as well, which includes a smith machine, hack squat machine, leg press, etc. Covers most things, but there is no hip abductor/adductor. There is a wide selection of cardio machines on the ground floor- the only one missing is a stepper. I personally really like the wide variety of cable machines as they can be tailored to fit any size and shape, but the rest of the machines were not quite suitable for a petite female like myself. But this is a common problem with most machines/gyms, so it was not a dealbreaker for me. I think this gym has one of the friendliest staff members, but communication has room for improvement. I’ve had two instances where I was told that a member of the staff would follow up but ultimately I had to chase them personally in both cases. These were both enquiries regarding my membership. The manager ultimately dealt with this very promptly when I chased them in person, and he was very receptive to my feedback about the gym. Overall, this is a great gym if it suits your style of workout, and I think the price they charge is very fair. Ultimately, the reason why I’ve decided to leave this gym is because of a few very rude male members. I’ve been a member of many gyms in London and abroad, and I’m sad to say that I’ve had the worst experience here, and I do not say this lightly. I don’t understand why this gym in particular attracts such a rude male demographic. Such a shame. After much deliberation I’m giving this gym four stars, mainly for the cleanliness and friendliness.

The space is great! High ceilings and natural light. There is a great energy in the place, I think that is down to the super friendly and active staff. The gym is well designed with lots of equipment, machines, weights and zones for classes. There is everything you need and loads of space to do your session. The other clients in the gym seem to be focused, but not too serious or showing off, so it is great place to workout.

Decent gym when it's not rammed. Staff are friendly and although I haven't used any PT services, I'm sure also competent. My only gripe is opening hours. 8.30am on weekends? It's like a coffee shop that doesn't open until 9am, you're in the wrong business! You need to cater to early mornings so people can get in, avoid the rush, and get on with their day.

Super friendly staff and great range of classes which work you hard! Love the range of 30 minute classes as well as 45 minute ones. Easy app based booking system with cancellation policy that is also easy to follow. A lightly small selection of cardio-y gym equipment if that’s your thing and a good weights area - though it does get a little hectic there in peak times. Overall - love being a member here!

Been a member at the gym for over a year now and love it. Faculty are clean, staff are welcoming and friendly, and the boxing classes are very good and you meet a variety of lovely people. Has become a bit of a community for me! Overall very happy.

Great vibe in there. The fighting classes didnt disappoint. Perfect for people who want to do normal gym training plus having a place to be able to practice boxing and BJJ.

The place is absolutely not enjoyable. Because of staff doesn't put their head on what music it's playing. Sometimes it is so disturbing and not sometimes but most of times really making me want to run away. After paying for entry £25 I come and level of music so laud and so bot enjoyable. Staff that on shift should be on point with that in my opinion. Even I had my headphones on I could still hear in my headphone that full level up the disturbing music from the club. Ladies changing room door is always open they keep it open for some reason that no privity as you can see inside changing room and everyone passing through it and it just opposite reception entry/exit place. Why is door always open that everyone could see me ??? Big problem the sauna it has been for years now and I have complained before that there is big gap in door in sauna and it just full blast cold air coming in that I'm cold in the sauna. Even after changing room been refurbished it still same problem. It is the worst sauna I ever been to. Cold sauna ... stuff never go check the temperature. Seems they just there to chat between th and sit in the office or not moving from reception. Completely ignorant and not welcoming. Every time they have grim on their faces. Really not enjoy going there. Only come with my bf as he is a member. Bur very disappointed paying such money for single use and feel angry being there for not being able to enjoy anything there. NOT COMING AGAIN AND DONT RECCOMEND THIS GYM TO NO ONE. THERE IS BETTER GYMS OPTION. THEY DONT CARE AND NO EFFORT IS TO MAKE MEMBERS FEEL GOOD. ALWAYS EMPTY I SEE WHY. DYING GYM WHEN YOU PUT NO EFFORT AND THOUGHT

Friday mornings with Megan’s 9.30am ABA (Arms, Bums & Abs) classes She is a joy and I love her attention to detail to ensure the quality of the movement Plus her understanding of us ‘oldies’ and sense of humour! Jacqueline’s Wednesday evening (7pm) Pilates classes Her attention to detail and sense of humour plus not missing an incorrect movement by anybody is really appreciated

I was a member of StarsGym for nearly 8 years, and I could not recommend it more. I moved due to relocation, but would have otherwise stayed there. Great staff, classes and atmosphere with everything you need in your local gym.

Gym is small but not really busy. There is most of the equipment you will need. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Classes are excellent. Considering the quality of the classes and the specialization in martial arts the price is comparable to that of other gyms. The only downside is that it closes at 4. 30 during the weekend.

I've only been here for two weeks but I'm really loving it, super friendly staff, awesome classes for those interested in the Martial Arts, I plan on staying here for a long time, definitely worth your time and money.

I went there in a need of a job opportunity and I didn’t even receive a bit of respect from the management, the receptionist was excellent and sweet, he was really ignoring my request not even wondering why I knocked stars gym and what potentially I could do for them, I realised the disrespect once he said I will check your indeed request with thumb up like im useless there. Not a professional response to be a manager I was expecting a better way of communication… change management that even a not English speaker could do better in that case.
