Have waited over 3 weeks (then gave up) for them to get in contact with me about medical negligence by a doctor. I called them 3 times on different days and every time it went to answer machine.

Worse hospital Iโ€™ve been in London. Rude nursesโ€ฆ doctors.. you donโ€™t even see them. In case you think you have money pox donโ€™t come to this hospital. All they will do is throw you in a room, tell you that someone will be with you shortly and then leave you there for hours and hours. No assistance or anyone comes for you. And if you ask the staff whoโ€™s around for any information they put on a face like you owe them something and are rude ! Iโ€™ll make sure Iโ€™ll do a very complete complaint about this service! This is not what I pay for with my tax and NI !!!

I had bad experience in hospital and made complaint to PALS. I was very clear that I want to make an official complaint but PALS after acknowledging my complaint kept asking if I want to withdraw the complaint, to which I always replied I want to proceed. At the end I donโ€™t feel my complaint was resolved at all. Recently I have discovered from pharmacist that medication I have been prescribed by the cardiologist in the hospital, and have been taking for 5 months, should never be prescribed together as they cancel each other. How can you trust the doctors?!!!

Until 17th March 2020, I had never been to Barts Hospital or for that matter, to any other Hospital as an urgent critical patient. But talk about saving the best till last! I had very good reason on this fateful St Patrick's day ('Paddy's' Day on 17th March 2020), when I was driven blue lighted by an ambulance (again a first for me) to St Barthomlew's Hospital. Thank God they did take me to Barts hospital!!! The care I received in the middle of what was a Covid-19 pandemic was nothing short of incredible and outstanding! It was a first class top notch care by everyone that I encountered - starting with the paramedics who responded to me at home. The hospital managed to patch me up within 8 days with a bionic present inserted in my chest area, after which I was sent home, from where I steadily recuperated very well. I have nothing great heartfelt thanks and admiration for those that treated me, but also for all our healthcare professionals up and down the country - from the cleaners, healthcare assistants, porters, nurses, doctors, radiologists, phlebotomists, etc, etc. Each and everyone of them was amazing and fantastic!! I consider myself to be very lucky to be here and alive in the first place, writing this review or rather this Thank You note to them. Please let us all indeed, cherish and respect these people who have dedicated and devoted their lives to our care, and let us be supportive of them, especially during the pandemic and always. Wishing all Healthcare Professionals, all the very best. A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!! Please continue to show your gratitude and support for those who work in the NHS. LIKE this review, as a recognition to them. I will forever be grateful to them! Thank you for sparing your time to read this!

Went in today with a broken shin Was asked to walk around the building to 3 places before someone could help When I was seen by the nurse in the minor injury dept I was questioned as to why I thought it may have been fractured or broken and was almost told of by the very rude and unhelpful nurse. I was told that I wasn't allowed an xray as I would be exposed to radiation Absolute idiotic woman I couldn't believe it was given 2 painkillers in my hand and off I went What a joke

Went in for knee surgery to Thorogood Ward recently. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even though busy ward. They were highly professional, every process was meticulously carried out, ensuring I got the very best care from start to finish. But what impressed me was the kindness and caring, in spades, as if my welfare and recovery was their main priority, it really made me feel very safe and in the best hands. I don,t think they get enough recognition for going over and above their remit, which is clearly clinical, but the human factor is just as critical for the patient and certainly aids good recovery. This should be measured just as much as the complaints in my opinion, as the majority of the hardworking NHS staff I encountered are dedicated, hardworking and give everything to their jobs. Very well done to the team, you made my stay so much less stressful than I expected... thank you so much.

Nobody answering phone in Thoracic Surgery after operater transferred me. First time I've tried to see how my friend is getting on, phoned twice and phone just ringing with nobody answering. I presume there are staff in the ward and just ignoring the phone. Disappointing and worrying.

I wanted to thank the incredible nurses and doctors in the breast screening services and breast clinic in the west wing, as well as the wonderful nurse doing covid screening at the entrance to the main hospital who took the time to walk me all the way to the west wing so that I wouldnโ€™t get lost. I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. I could not have hoped for more caring, competent and professional nurses and doctors. Thank you!

Staffs, doctors and nurses are friendly, happy to help. Neat and clean. Big hospital with many departments. Modern facilities are available here. Enough space for waiting people. Directions are little bit confusing but we need to consider that as itโ€™s a big hospital with few attach buildings. Small green area feel us fresh. Big thanks to hospital management and cleaner team.

Remember you are appreciated. However people with a grudge can still make up things about regulated staff (non-managers) and put the health and social care professionals on trial for fabrications. It happened to me. Please read up on regulatory law and protect yourselves from unscrupulous regulatory and disciplinary lawyers and unscrupulous complainants, who are the lawyers' clients. The public are not the clients of the regulatory lawyers!!! It's all about money making for the managers and lawyers.

We're here for an EKG appointment in a quiet Saturday afternoon, I'm listening don't let me down - Beatles ๐ŸŽง, wandering around, checking quiet halls. The staff doesn't let me in, waiting here by myself. Good people work here, doing the best they can. Where do I know? Because the British way of doing business orders you to do you best otherwise they let you go and people know that very well. TL;Dr I'm bored in this very Saturday afternoon. ๐Ÿข

Had three heart attacks during my 40s, Barts helped make each occasion less traumatic. I have noticed a review or two about the management culture. However, I strongly feel that without the strictness, the current commendable level of service cannot be achieved. Well done and keep up the good work, matters of the heart are not just physical!!!

Waited 2 hours to be seen for a cardiology follow up appointment in clinic 5. In addition people who came after me were seen before me. When I brought this up with the reception they said they can't do anything how ridiculous!
